The hotel area is not small, clean and very green. The hotel has palm trees, pine trees, olive trees, lemon trees and flowers. From the lobby to the beach you need to go down the stairs, because the hotel itself is located on a mountain, ie you need to go down from top to bottom.
Rooms are located throughout the hotel and have two floors. The description of the hotel states that the rooms are 20 square meters. m (standard) and 40 square meters. m. (family rooms), but it seems to me that the Standard room is not such an area, because at the door there is a table and a shoe rack. Our bed was made up of two separate single beds with blankets that looked like large towels. The bathroom was clean, there was no fungus, but the doorknob was broken.
At check-in they gave 4 towels, 2 bath towels and 2 for feet. There is information at the reception that towels are changed every 3 days, but we changed only for 4 days and only one, which I threw on the floor, the latter did not change during all our days of stay. The cleaning was very superficial, they took out the garbage and wiped the floor and all. The food at the hotel was normal, you will not go hungry. For breakfast she always gave boiled eggs, sausages, cheese, jams, bread, potatoes, and there were olives.
For lunch they gave a couple of soups, rice or pasta, stew, chicken, salads, various fresh vegetables, sweets and fruits. For dinner it was almost the same, once they gave fish.
The beach is really a concrete platform on which there are stairs on which you go and the depth at once, so it is not suitable for small children, only those in which children swim or can swim with a circle or armbands. The sea is clean and beautiful, sometimes fish swim. The weather was nice and warm, but there is a feature of the region such as Bodrum that in the morning, somewhere before 10-00 and in the evening from 19-00 complete calm, but between 10-00 and until 19-00 the wind rises and at sea there are waves that are quite large. The sunbeds are not very shabby and in principle there was always enough for everyone, but every morning before breakfast we went down to the sea, occupied the sunbeds, and then went to breakfast. By the way, breakfast, lunch and dinner are held at a clearly defined time, if you are late, you stay hungry.
In the evening, the bar at the bottom of the beach offers tea, coffee or alcohol, as well as music, such as a mini disco. Also on the territory as described there are hammocks and swings on which you can ride in the evening. As for the pool, they were not there, so I can not write a review. There are not many people in the hotel, Poles, Ukrainians, Russians and Turks themselves are resting.
To Bodrum is a 20-minute minibus (final stop is the bus station), where you can buy various souvenirs, fruit and Turkish delight. It is necessary to pay for it in Turkish lira, so it is cheaper. Also in Bodrum you can book tours at the local agency Director Tour, there cheaper than at the hotel and no worse. Dollars and euros can also be exchanged in Rivne at the rate of 5.6 or 5.7, it is stable.
In general, the hotel responds to its 3 *, the only bad thing is that the staff speak Turkish and bad cleaning, and so for a budget holiday in Bodrum is quite suitable.
1. Location: Guvercilik is a very quiet and peaceful village, which is located 20 km from Bodrum. A trip to the city will cost you 3.5 tours. lira to one side. There are a couple of restaurants in the village itself, a market where you can buy fruit comes once a week. The only disco in the hotel. The settlement is closed on all sides by islands and peninsulas, incl. you will not see the open sea. The sea is fabulously beautiful and clean. Near the village towards the city there is a fenced area of the sea where you can swim with a dolphin. This pleasure costs 85 dollars for five minutes!
2. Numbers. The hotel rooms are not bad. We got a family room. The place is very much. Double rooms are slightly smaller. It happened that the rooms had high humidity, and some did not have air conditioning. But the staff always makes concessions and if you don't like something, they can move you. Refrigerators are not in every room. Do not believe the firms that Russian channels are on TV. There is one about the church, but I think you will not watch it on vacation. Cleaning every day change of bed every 5 days.
3. Nutrition. The food doesn't shine. A lot of soybeans, but we were lucky and for 4 days of our holiday we were fed potatoes. In general, the selection is not great. But you can find something to eat. Dessert is not bad. Lots of fruit and delicious.
4. Bar. Drinks were not diluted. But it all depends on the bartender. In the first half of the holiday there was a darling bartender. He designed a simple gin and tonic for us so beautifully. And then he disappeared somewhere and a new one came. It's terrible what he did there. Glasses of beer looked more like an oxygen cocktail.
5. Staff. Keep in mind that the staff is not Russian speaking, you will have to communicate in either English or Turkish. So be sure to take a phrase book with you. Everyone is trying their best to make your stay enjoyable. Everyone smiles, tried to learn a little Russian and is always attentive.
6. Vacationers. 80% of vacationers are Turks, 10% are Bulgarians, 4% are Russians, and the rest are Lithuanians, Germans.
CONCLUSION:
For 3 * this hotel pulls and even pulls very much.
A few important tips:
--If you go to the city, then do not go around the supermarket, there are reasonable prices for groceries. Finding it is easy. There is a market at the bus stop on the second floor, and there you will also see a shop.
- It's cheaper to buy everything for local lira, and it will be cheaper for you to travel by bus.
--Take cigarettes and alcohol with you if you want to catch up after the bar. Because in Turkey, all this is very expensive, for example, 1 pack of Winston is $5, a bottle of Russian vodka is $40-60.
-- Be sure to bargain with everyone, you can throw off very much. I bought myself a jacket for $100, even though its original price was 470 euros.
--Don't take hotel tours from your guides. The city is twice the price. For example, an excursion to Ephesus or Pamukala: 1) Pegasus - 120 dollars, TezTour - 80 dollars. in the city - 40 dollars.
WELL AND HAPPY YOU REST!! !
There really isn’t much entertainment, in the evenings you can play either billiards or table tennis, the bartenders and vacationers themselves arranged a disco. By the way, about Helikarnassus, they will convince you that you have not been to Bodrum if you have not been to this disco, do not believe it, there is nothing special about it, and the entrance is 36 Turkish liras (almost 36 dollars). The Catamaran is better, there is a glass bottom and it goes out to the open sea. It is better to book excursions not at the hotel, but at the Director tour in Bodrum, by minibus from the hotel in 25 minutes and for 2.5 lira, from the station where all minibuses stop, go towards the port (along the main street) and after 150 meters 200 to your left you will see a sign, there is Olya, a Russian-speaking operator, she will tell you everything. We went to Ephesus with them (we advise those who love antiquity), by the way, a nice bonus - when ordering a tour, going to the hammam is free! And we also advise you to definitely sail on a yacht - $ 18 for the whole day, with lunch and 6 stops in the most beautiful bays, you will not see such a beautiful sea in a hotel !! ! be sure to take a mask, there are a lot of impressions, what is worth seeing the bottom and fish at a depth of 10 meters! The only warning, keep an eye on your yacht, so as not to fall behind her, enchanted by the beauty of the sea. But even if they leave you, don’t worry, another one will pick you up and transfer you to yours at the next stop. Then demand compensation from the captain in the form of beer, as we did : )
And also, really, take light bulbs with you, the light is dim in the room. The room has a hairdryer.
We were in Turkey for the first time and the rest did not disappoint me, if you don’t sit and wait for the animator to come and have fun, but take your vacation into your own hands, then the Bargilla hotel is a place that provides quality grounds for this. We didn’t worry about the food, and the room, about the safety of our things (there is a safe in the room, $ 2 per day) and therefore, since there was no entertainment in the hotel, we looked for them on the side : ) I mean in Bodrum : ) visit the Bodrum fortress, entrance 10 lire, but there is something to see, but the mausoleum - the entrance is 8 lira and one base is left, so not for everyone. have questions - ask!
Have a nice holiday!
Silence, peace, chic territory, the sound of the sea, the singing of birds, a sea of greenery, a breeze. Polite local people. There are no complaints about Odeon either, everything was clear, convenient, well done to all the guys, very good organization.
