Rested with my husband from September 19 to September 29.2009, tour operator "Pegasus", departure from Rostov-on-Don. It was our romantic trip, although not the first time in Turkey. "Arkadia Limak" - refers to the German hotel chain. Most vacationers, of course, are Germans. Many Russians, Ukrainians, Dutch, Turks. The hotel is more family friendly. Although, due to its vast territory and a lot of entertainment, everyone here can have a great rest!
1. Service. As usual, we were met at the airport and taken to the hotel. They settled in the main building within 10 minutes, providing a room for the newlyweds: a bed decorated with a huge heart and flowers, fruit, champagne. (In our application, the operator indicated that we were newlyweds. It was nice that this fact was taken into account by the hotel staff). Throughout the rest felt that we are welcome here! Whenever we contacted the front desk, they tried to help us.
Guest Reletion - Anna, was constantly in her place, always interested in: "How are you relaxing? ", "Are there any questions? ". The same can be said about our hotel guide - Anna Didenko. She advised us to take several excursions, for which we are very grateful to her! Were, as is already customary, in Pamukkale and flew to Jerusalem! Both excursions left only pleasant impressions and unforgettable memories! (Here I also want to say a special THANK YOU to the guide Ali Baba Necdet, who accompanied us to Pamukkale!
) As for the service, in general: the rooms were cleaned daily while we were at breakfast (we left a dollar), while the mini-bar was replenished without reminders; beach towels (quite decent looking) changed by the hour in a certain place, enough for everyone (on the second day we adapted); tables in the main restaurant were cleaned promptly, so there was always a place to sit; as for the sunbeds - free, almost always, could be found on the beach and by the pools.
2. Number. It is divided, as it were, into 2 unequal halves: an entrance hall and a main room. The equipment is standard. The room itself is not very big, but everything is comfortable, there is a balcony. There is a large wardrobe in the hallway, it also has an electronic safe. (Free and reliable. They left money, documents, jewelry in peace).
In the bathroom, as needed, all sorts of bath accessories were replenished: shampoo, shower gel, cotton swabs and discs, soap, shower cap, body lotion ...Little things, but nice! ) The furniture is not new, but quite decent.
3. Accommodation. As I wrote above, they placed us quickly and in the main building. On the territory there are many more 3-storey cottages and the Green House building, about which there are a lot of negative reviews. I was afraid that we would not be settled there. Since we got a good room, I can't write anything about Green House.
4. Nutrition. In addition to the main restaurant, there are several themed ones. Managed to visit only barbecue and Turkish. You won't leave hungry anywhere! There are many dishes, but in 2008 I was in Kaya Belek - there, to be honest, there is more choice of sweet and meat dishes. Arcadia is somewhat monotonous. But, I think that we are already "stuck".
5. Sea. It is great! We were lucky with the weather. The only time it rained, and even then, in the morning.
After lunch, we already swam with might and main. Usually before 12:00 we swam in the sea, in the afternoon the waves rose (this is a property of the Mediterranean Sea), we swam in the pools.
6. Animators. The guys did a great job! And everywhere: on the beach, by the pools, of course - evening shows (every day is a new super-performance), contests. My husband and I were amazed by their knowledge of foreign languages, and they could joke with us appropriately and immediately switch to the Germans and communicate freely with them. They were attentive to the kids, if any child was crying, they would come up and try to cheer him up with something.
7. Territory. When we chose the hotel, I really wanted it to have a large territory. Arcadia has a huge one! At the same time, everything is buried in greenery. Lots of beautiful flowers and birds. Lizards and turtles roam freely. There are secluded corners with hammocks. The hotel has its own fields: for golf, football, tennis court.
We were unable to completely bypass the territory.
We liked our vacation in Arcadia! I advise everyone! My husband and I will definitely come back here!
