The room turned out great! In the new building. Newly renovated, clean. Top floor. Balcony overlooking the "Legend".
Air conditioning, refrigerator, safe.
Towels, bed linen - clean and white.
Mold free bath. Poor shower fixture.
Our food was very tasty. Rice, stew, mashed / french fries / baked with meat. Fish stew. From meat chicken, nuggets, beef.
Fried eggplant, zucchini, cauliflower, corn. Lettuce, arugula, parsley. . . Cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers. Fresh crispy bread. Delicious cheese.
Fruit is not enough: watermelon, apricots, plums, grapes (once was). Very tasty burnt.
The child is very picky about food, but always found something to get enough of.
You will not walk to the beach. Shuttle ride 4 min. Towels will be provided at the hotel. On the beach, sun loungers under an awning or under the sun by the sea. Large garbage is removed in the morning, but small ones are still there. The sea is very warm! A little cloudy. Sand, a little bit of stones along the surf line. But the children entered without shoes. on the beach they offer only Non-alcoholic drinks and some kind of snack (if you didn’t go to the hotel for lunch, but stayed at the sea)
The territory is not large: two buildings, between them there is a pool and slides.
In the morning, usually everyone is at the sea, and in the afternoon by the pool. In the evening everyone walked around the city.
We are very pleased with the location. Nearby is a very large hotel "Legend", on the territory of which you can enter for free and admire the landscape, architecture and animation! She's top notch here! You find yourself in little Venice. We walked there every evening, rode the tour bus for $2. A sea of boutiques, cafes. On the territory - the largest water park in Turkey and Eastern Europe. If you go at 16.00, then pay $25 for a child and $31 for an adult. Roller coaster, hot air balloon, diving!
The hotel is located 2 minutes from the center. Shopping malls, supermarkets, alley of umbrellas, Turkish bazaar. If they were on line 1, they would hardly be able to see all this. So don't be put off by the distance from the sea!
Don't be afraid to bargain! We bought everything for half the price of the original!
There is no animation in the hotel! But trust me, you don't need it!
We decided that we would eat again next year!
As for 3 *, very decent!
I hope you have a great rest too!
As for the sea, it is good and beautiful, we went to the sea at 8:30 and 9:30 and always found sunbeds for two and under a canopy, there was always a place in the afternoon at 14:30! The beach bar for 3* is snacks that we never took and drinks, strangely very tasty Pepsi (not diluted) and wonderful mineral water! There is a woman with cakes there, we got them once in 7 days, then she was not there, then everything ended, but we were not very upset because we didn’t like the taste (but it’s a matter of taste).
Near the hotel there are two shops with very pleasant prices, they took fruit there and so cookies, since it is not possible to eat in the dining room and many people said this and went to the store with us.
The plus of the hotel is that next to the hotel "Legend" with a huge territory and show fountains, which is definitely worth going to!!!
I am writing this review because many people read them, and the previous reviews do not agree with reality, judging by a sober head, I do not advise ANYONE to go to this hotel !! !
The review will go about 3 *! The pros of the hotel: the staff are wonderful people (one Turk for all, by the way + pool keeper), but there are few staff, not enough to clean the territory. More on that later.
The second plus is the new building and, accordingly, the furniture and the hotel itself. There is no shabby furniture, such as old tattered beds and bedspreads. Cleaned standardly without straining, but often. Constantly add bottled water in a bottle per resident. You can always take it with you. It's free.
The third plus is The Land of Legend, located a 7-minute walk, where tourists are brought from all resort places for money. This is a chic Venetian-style promenade with shops and cafes, and most importantly, with a daily free show for everyone, both visitors and residents of the Rixos Hotel (on the territory of the land). The shop is amazing, you can go more than once: a musical and light show on the fountain, soap bubbles and a costume show. Then you can take pictures with the actors and ride a gondola or a boat.
Next, of course, worth a visit to the water park. Entrance there is paid (from Pegasus it costs $ 68 for an adult + child), if you take 105 (child) and 150 lire (adult) through the box office. there is no big difference. This water park is now the largest in Turkey and Eastern Europe. Over 40 slides. Show with walrus, beluga and dolphins. There are penguins and a tiger on the territory (mini zoo). You can do everything in a day, but we couldn’t))) It is worth noting that in addition to the entrance, you need to throw about 50 lira on the bracelet for food and water (water 1 dollar or 4 lira).
Now back to the hotel. THERE IS NO ANIMATION AND WILL NOT BE. NO EVENING, NO CHILDREN'S, NO DAY! The food is standard, as elsewhere, you will not be hungry, but do not expect a variety of meat. (WE ate meat dishes in a cafe every few days. There are 2 markets nearby, many exchange offices and a promenade shopping district. ) The staff, as I said already, cannot cope with everyone and everything. They are on the towels, they are in the dining room, they are in the bar.
There was a case not good with one head of the Turkish family. He fell, hurt himself... they made a remark that the water spilling from the slides needs to be “dry”, but no one listened. And after 5 days, he fell so that he cracked his skull. They took him away in an ambulance unconscious. 10 stitches! THE HOTEL STAFF NOT ONLY DID NOT APOLOGIZE, but also asked to remove photos and videos taken by workers from the construction site opposite. Ugly, sad, spoiled the opinion of the hotel.
In general, for the money that we flew, we were satisfied.
