Review:
This year we tuned in to Concorde. I wanted the Larov Sea and a new hotel for us. But while we were setting up, Concorde went to the stop. And I definitely needed to combine my vacation with live broadcasts of the World Cup, since in our small homeland there is too much difference with Central European time.

Under the influence of information from Dokmoch, who was reporting live from the Titanic, I turned my attention to this hotel. True, I doubted whether we would be fine in the Titanic for a full 2 weeks? Won't you get bored? Believing Ole Infiniti that there was nothing to do in the Titanic for more than 1 week, I decided to relax for 7 nights in the fun Titanic for my wife and I, and spend the second week in the proven Royal Wings with its amusement park for the child. Maybe someone will laugh at such a decision, but it was our conscious choice and for a number of reasons it turned out that this was a normal decision.
SETTLEMENT
We arrived on an early flight and already at 7 a. m. with a penny were in the Titanic. Since, just in case, we decided the issue of early check-in with Teztur in advance, there was a room for us (the rest were settled after 14). But the number was not what I wanted. Aft and on the 8th floor as promised on this site. We decided that if it works out, then move to the side with a view of the Rixos, and if not, then this number will do. With the resettlement, a Russian-speaking friend at the reception promised to help us. On the same day, he did not succeed, but the next morning after morning volleyball we moved to a room with a good view of the 5th floor. To celebrate, I gave 40 dollars. Probably in vain : ) 20 would be enough.
ROOMS
The fact that they are small did not surprise me, I read the reviews, looked at the photos in advance. Surprised by something else. On the 8th floor, the air conditioner could not cope with the heat at the maximum (at 3 points). Probably because it's on the top floor. On the 5th floor, the air conditioner coped with the heat even on the 1st floor (at a minimum). Due to the small area at night it was hard to breathe in the room, the air was stale. Still, 3 people were sleeping and breathing. Balcony just in case did not open. We didn't want the kids to be bitten by mosquitoes. Pleasantly pleased with the large wardrobes and a large number of drawers.
ABOUT THE TERRITORY
More and more I am convinced that it should not be large and elongated across the sea. I like it when it is small, stretched along the sea, beautifully and competently planned as in Le Meredien in Phuket. And so a piece of territory from the nose of the Titanic and to the left looks very nice.
SEA

The Lara Sea at the end of June did not please, it turned out that it was not quite the same as at the end of August. I wanted waves that you could jump on, but they were like that only 1 time. In general, the weather was amazing. There was a storm 3 times, 2 cold evenings (it's good that we took tracksuits), 2 rains and 1 terrible downpour. The beach is often windy. To the right of the pier, the sea was very shallow (which is inconvenient), to the left of the pier it was deeper. The sea was already warm, but not at all as gentle as at the end of August.
BEACH
The beach is clean. Removed and sifted. The bulls did not roll. There are large umbrellas at the front. On the back - awnings. There are always sun loungers on the beach. The beach bar is convenient. Centered at the entrance to the pier. Watermelons and cucumbers were handed out on the beach, but there were always queues.
FOOD
I am not a gourmet, rather omnivorous and modest in nutrition. But in the Titanic, even I felt that the breakfasts were meager in their variety. Practically only eggs in various forms: boiled, in the form of an omelette, in the form of scrambled eggs, in the form of dough. No curd. No porridge. Difficulty with seating. But packaged juices were all kinds. Big respect for my favorite cherry.
Queues were very tight. Probably, this is the concept of the Titanic: “struggle for existence”, which was clearly demonstrated by frames from the film on LCD screens near the elevators : ) Laughter with laughter, but the food infrastructure clearly cannot cope with such a large number of people. In the snack restaurant, there are almost always queues for tables, it is useless to order a gozleme in a tent, you won’t wait. And if you wait, then meat or cheese will be sprinkled just for show. For comparison: in Royal Wings they made real gozleme with a good layer of meat, cheese or mix, and they kept the temperature, and did not instantly cool down, as in the Titanic.
Here is one revealing episode about one dinner on the Titanic:

After several unsuccessful attempts to get gozleme, I generally abandoned this unpromising occupation in the hope that I would bulk up with even more delicious cakes at Royal Wings. At the distribution in the tent they gave some other cakes baked in the oven. Luckily I got in line. Suddenly I get a powerful blow in the stomach with my elbow and some Russian girl pushes me out of the queue. Later it turned out that this was one of the wives of handball players from the Chekhov Bears team, who held a recovery camp in this hotel. The “bears” themselves are such tall 2-meter smiling guys, with whom it was very pleasant to communicate. Well, I got it in the gut, I decided not to quarrel, I thought that it wouldn’t hurt me if I missed one active girl in the queue, but it wasn’t there. Seeing my confusion, the rest of the bear team rushed after this girl. Apparently, the production of food in their families rests on by no means weak women's shoulders. It was useless to resist. Taking a dreary pose, I decided to wait for the moment when all the "bears" feed their "bears". I gaped a little and suddenly I get a blow in the stomach again, but this time with my head. This is already some kind of Komsomol member from Kazakhstan who decided to finally deprive me of illusions about dinner. I had to move unsalted bread to the queue of the snack restaurant.
At dinner with meat in the dining room, everything is fine. There were no themed dinners. Fruits are of great variety. Cherries were eaten with pleasure. Watermelons and melons are tasteless of some fodder subspecies. Eh! Here would be Thai fruits and berries!
The night food was disappointing. Again eggs in various modifications.
About nutrition, my wife and I had a favorite joke: “Now let’s have fun in the hungry Titanic and go eat off at the boring Royal Wings! ” : )
Surprisingly many waiters and bartenders spoke Russian. We did not notice any discrimination based on nationality. The bartenders and waiters were equally friendly and courteous with all hotel guests.
A LA CARDS
They did not like the fact that they are all in one place, only the menu is different. And the fact that they are located under the balconies of hotel guests. There is no privacy. We seem to be sitting well. But right above us, the English fans, who live on the 1st floor, are pointing their fingers at us and discussing something. Unpleasant. At least they didn’t spit on us, and that’s okay. We went to a la carte with the Turkish menu when the monotonous canteen food was already completely disgusted.
THE DRINKS
Drinks are easy. Quality foreign drinks were sold for quite a lot of money. A drink of Absolute with ice, for example, costs 10 Euros. The bars serve local drinks. Gin "Borzoy" does not smell like resin. Mojito 1 tried. Absolutely not what it should be. No more Mojitos ordered. The local tequila is tolerable. Beer in glass glasses is drunk normally. Local whiskey and soda - tolerable.
In the bowling bar we met with the bartender who used to serve us in Barut in the lobby bar. Already hugged! We talked, we remembered. Nicely! Football was discussed with him.
ENTERTAINMENT
Entertainment is undoubtedly a plus of the hotel, but with its own minuses.

The free trampoline was specially closed early so that people would go to the paid trampolines. Extortionate prices for children's machines: 2 euros or 3 dollars for a token.
The animators did a good job with the kids. Even our child for the first time in his life went to 2 competitions, which was an absolute surprise for us. Previously, he did not go to any mini-clubs. And even she and her mother earned a medal at the sandcastle competition. Moreover, unlike other contestants, they made the castle together, and not like everyone else - only adults.
About the mini-club, you can add that it is divided into 2 age groups: up to 7 and from 7 years old. In my opinion it is convenient.
He really liked the mini disco. Also a surprise. After the Titanic mini-disco, he no longer liked the mini-disco at the Royal Wings.
The Circus and the Extreme show came. Liked.
"Titanic's best couple" is standard and not very interesting. But a couple of German guys decorated it with their performance. People laughed at their performances. And despite the predominance of the Turks, they were applauded more. They won, not the Turkish couple. The Turks clapped theirs. The rest of the people supported the German guys.
There was also a disco at the Solaris bar with powerful decorations in the form of the Titanic and long preparations. Everyone was waiting for something big. They took their places. There was nowhere to sit. But it all came down to a banal boom-boom. Although the fireworks from the hotel were beautiful. The people were dispersed with boom-boom in half an hour and only youth remained. This is a big mistake in the concept of the hotel. Resting mostly family. And it would be nice either in the first hour or every other time to turn on the disco. But no, just boom-boom. People run away and a handful of young people remain.
I liked the disco "4 seasons". It was especially cool when everyone was given crimson raincoats with hoods and poured water over them through a laser show. The children and the Chekhov Bears looked very funny in raincoats.

One live music was dispersed by a storm. Other "live music" did not like. Some faceless Turkish group was performing with two Russian performers who could only twirl their booty and sang to the phonogram with the voices of Western performers. Here's your grandmother and live music : )
The party on the beach was nothing but fireworks to remember. Same boom boom.
With the party in white and the Titanic show, we kind of flew by. They took place after our departure. We knew in advance when these events would be and specially came to them. Luckily, we left the keys to our room.
From a party in white honestly expected more. I liked the fireworks. I liked the laser show and scenery. But we thought that there would be neon lights so that everyone who came in white would shine beautifully. Unfortunately, this was not the case. But there was again a boom-boom, which quickly dispersed everyone except the youth.
I liked the Titanic show very much. Recorded on video. The truth did not quite fit into the role of Rosa DeWitt Bukater, the main animator (but this is not for everyone). But in the role of Jack, the Turk looked great, very similar to Ivan Urgant. I also thought: Vanya was lucky that he was born in St. Petersburg in the family of an actor and a grandmother. And if you were born in Turkey, you would be a great animator. : ) About the show, it is clear that it was staged by professional directors, but by local animators who did a good job with this work. The show itself has existed in this form for 3 years.
Comrade Dokmoch claimed that the street discos in the Titanic and its environs do not stop until one in the morning. This is not true. Street discos (except for the disco on the pier) end at exactly 24 hours. Then there is a disco in a nondescript room at the amphitheater. There, too, youth and boom-boom.
I really liked the concert venue in the Solaris bar. Beautiful and comfortable. There seems to be a lot of places, but not enough for everyone. Liked the amphitheatre. Very well planned. Those who enter and exit do not interfere with those who watch the show. I also consider an armchair instead of flat steps a good solution.
The Russian language was in favor. As a rule, the Russian translation came immediately after the main speech.
SPORT

Sport is the main reason why I traded Spain for Turkey. And, of course, volleyball. There are 2 volleyball courts on the beach. But they play on the one that is closer to Rixos. It is located right next to the sea. So the wind is very annoying. The level of volleyball is surprisingly weak for such a large hotel. Except for one Turk, there was not a single decently playing player. The Chekhov Bears often played against the rest. The Bears lost more often. Three full-fledged teams never gathered. That evening, when volleyball was declared the tournament of the day, the people did not gather very well. Two weak teams played. I ended up on the winning team. Before the show in the amphitheater, they were awarded a medal. Once played for the Chekhov Bears. I really liked how people who have won everything in their lives, up to Olympic medals, rejoice at every serve they win and every game they win, and also argue with the arbitrators. I honestly liked the Bears very much, especially Lyokha and Khrust. I'm just as addicted. : )
But football surprised me with its high level. I consider myself more of a footballer than a volleyball player. Still, football childhood and student life. But here it's the other way around. On the volleyball field, I felt like a master, and on the football field, I felt like a sack. The field is very pleasant. But the level of the game is unattainable for me. Although I gave one assist in the match of the English (for whom I played) against the Turkish-German team. But it is obvious that from our side there were 4 extra-class players of the level of the team of masters and from their side a couple of the same. Satisfaction brought only the score 7:2 in our favor. And in just 30 minutes of playing the ball, I only touched it 4 times. In other hotels in football, I, as a rule, was in good standing, and at home I constantly train.
There was no time and desire for another sport, although all kinds of tournaments of the day with awards were held there.
SOCCER WORLD CUP
We like to travel to Turkey at the end of August-beginning of September. But this year, the usual schedule had to be changed due to the child's enrollment in school, and the World Cup had an impact. I wanted to watch it live, not recorded after work.
In Titanic, the composition of the guests turned out to be multinational. Turks dominated. There were many English people. You should have seen (I recorded) how they cheered for their own and sang songs. Of course, the British are the best fans! There were a decent number of Russians. Lots of Dutch. A lot of Germans. I saw either Slovak or Slovenian flags.

The British carved out for themselves a decent piece of territory near the nose of the Titanic. They hung it with flags. In this area, they were the only ones sunbathing. On the day of the game, they were painted in the morning, in shorts and T-shirts of the national team and with flags. The day they made the playoffs, they danced, sang songs and jumped on the bar for an hour and a half after the match. The bartenders loved it.
Football was shown on 2 conventional LCD panels in the Solaris bar. There are few places. Two small sectors in the shadow. There weren't enough places. We had to take seats in advance. Other places in the sun.
He noted such a feature. I'm like the famous octopus - in whose sector I sit - they win. The British, of course, are to blame for the fact that there were no empty seats in their sector. I would love to sit in their sector and cheer against them. And so I was rooting against them in the German sector.
The fact that Europeans are tolerant is, of course, a fiction and a myth. It was very unpleasant to watch how the Germans laughed and mocked the British, and also showed the middle finger when the referee did not see the goal scored by Lampard.
Smiled. The English guys are not a miss. After they flew out, they came to cheer for Holland in orange jerseys.
The Dutch liked as fans. Funny intelligent people. And they have a good team.
I've already watched the quarterfinals at the Royal Wings.
LOUNGES
The theme of sunbeds for this hotel is sick. The pools are engaged from the very beginning. Once I tried to play these games, then gave up. There are always sun loungers on the sea. After lunch, you can already find it by the pools. Beach beds are uncomfortable. By the pools just right.
POOLS
Very big and there are a lot of them. Deep Olympic and deep for children the rest. Our child is a waterfowl. Even at 6 years old, he doesn’t care what depth, but other children are probably uncomfortable. I did not like that there was a long distance between the sea and the pools,
WATERSLIDES
Slides are good for both adults and children. Our super-cautious child happily rolled down from the nurseries and even went with us to the adults. Another plus is this: both there and there, when you rise, you don’t feel the height. The ascent takes place indoors. So the child is not afraid. In the Royal Wings, he climbed, but refused to slide.
TOWELS

With towels in the Titanic was cool. Every morning, the wife received 3 fresh towels in exchange for cards, and in the evening she handed over 2 towels and received 3 cards back. I didn’t hand over mine, because I watched football, and then swam in the pool. My towels piled up on the balcony. We left them there when we left.
ELEVATORS
Elevators are a minus of the Titanic. These 5 elevators are not enough for such a hotel. And I didn’t see a separate service one. Luggage was brought on the same elevators. In comparison, 4 main and 2 auxiliary lifts performed well at Royal Wings. The hotel is smaller, but more elevators. In addition, there are additional services.
TEZTUR
I really liked how the guide Svetlana worked. She gave very sensible explanations to questions and even made advertising unobtrusively.
Did I like the Titanic? In general, I liked it.
Do I recommend it? Yes, I recommend it for families with preschoolers and for young people.
Will I go there again? No. Small rooms and food struggles are not for me. The emphasis on discos in the style of boom-boom at the expense of the show is also wrong.
In general, I think the rest was a success in a complex combination of Titanic-Royal Wings. If only to one of these places for 2 weeks. It probably would have been worse.
