The hotel is very good ("but there is one moment" - the owner of the hotel is an old senile!) Part 1

Maybe I'll be verbose, but I can't do it any other way.
I'll start from the beginning - in Turkey for the first time and "read" and heard a lot of reviews of a wide variety of different places and hotels in Turkey before the trip. The main requirements for the hotel were as follows:
1. comfortable rooms corresponding to 5 * with the appropriate service
1A. free in-room safe to fit at least a small book...
1B. internet working in the room - very necessary for planning your movements in an unfamiliar city / country
2. high-quality nutrition according to the AI scheme (without any simplifications / restrictions on meat, fruits, alcohol / drinks)
3. own beach with sunbeds, umbrellas, towels (free of charge)
4. convenient location with respect to transport infrastructure - I hate even minimal dependence on anyone, including

from tour operators and their tours according to the scheme "pay twice as much, and now GOP-GOP, ran, looked to the left, looked to the right - they didn't see anything - your problems, but we are running further. "

In general, what of all this hotel could offer. Initially, we were placed in a standard room with two single beds, although when buying a tour, I specified the need for a French bed in the room. I immediately raised this issue with the receptionist - they answered that the hotel is now full and that in two days such a room will probably be available so that I go to the reception by 12.00 - check-out time. Since I had read about some of the nuances of settling in hotels in Turkey / Egypt - they would not settle, they "unobtrusively reminded" the receptionist of his request the next day at 11.00 and as requested on the second day at 9.00 and 12.00, after which they simply issued room key with french bed.
I did not take a room with a sea view initially, the surcharge at the hotel on the spot for SeaView is +20$ for each night, i. e. +220$ for the entire tour - this surcharge was less from the tour operator when buying a tour : ) But never I regret that I did not take a sea view, because the view of the residential area and the mountains is also excellent. They have a residential area up to 3-4 floors, and we lived on the 7th and everything was very clearly visible. At the same time, the sea side is “lit up” by the sun all day (from 6 to 16/17), that is, you can’t just open the balcony - it will just be hot in the room. We quietly opened the balcony at lunchtime and the draft was very good and refreshing. The air conditioner in the room also worked quite well - but I'm not a big fan of this miracle of civilization.

The difference between rooms with two single beds and one French bed - the width of the room - differs in the width of the nightstand between the beds: ). And for some reason, the smaller depth of two cabinets for things (with shelves) in the corridor, except for a cabinet with a safe and trempels.

Also in room 7015 (two single beds) WiFi worked in the room with some "dead zones", and in room 7021 (French bed) - WiFi does not catch in the room, only if you sit on an armchair + pouffe and push the laptop out of the room to the balcony as much as possible . I liked it very much in the mornings, ~5 o'clock in the morning you pick up the mail, plan the travel plan for the day, and then at 5.10-5.15 prayer begins, the roosters crow - just super ...
As for the arrangement of the room - a refrigerator with water 2x0.5 + 2x0.33 (updated during daily cleaning); bathroom and toilet combined, full bathroom + glass partition with sliding doors (it turns out a full-fledged shower). There is a hair dryer in the toilet, there is a magnifying mirror, only for some reason its backlight did not work, accessories in the toilet are also in a complete set (soap, shower gel, shampoo, "shower hats", body lotion, a set of threads and needles) .
The safe in the room is electronic, the dimensions just killed - it’s not just that the missing book is included in it, you could put a laptop in the original packaging there : ).
There is an LCD TV, with only one Russian-language channel - "RTR planet", there are 3-4 channels in English (BBC, CNN, some others), so you won't be left behind the situation in the world : )

As for food - they fed very well and the first week was very diverse. For breakfast, lunch and dinner there was always the first one (cream soups), for lunch there were two kinds, in other cases one by one, but the soups are all excellent and repeated once or twice. There were always at least 3-4 types of side dishes, roast with meat, stuffed peppers, stuffed blue ones - it's just hard to list everything that was there. As for mayonnaise salads - they were caught only on the day of moving in (they are present in the photo), - then they were not there at all.
As for desserts - for lunch and dinner - there were at least 7-12 types of them, not counting puddings (2-3 types), while, as a rule, the dessert menu could be repeated in some positions no earlier than 3-4 days later. . . Fruits - there were definitely watermelon and melon, + a couple more options from the list: plums, peaches, apples, pears, grapes.

As for alcohol, everything was locally produced: cognac, whiskey, vodka (37.5%), gin (37.5%), rake (aniseed vodka, 43%! ), beer (like Effes, but so-so) ...

They started pouring in the lobby bar from 10.00, there was also a cocktail menu of 5 alcoholic and three non-alcoholic options using juices and liqueurs. Gin and tonic, gin-cola, whiskey-cola, etc. were "collected" without question (this was not included in the cocktail menu). At lunch and dinner, the same list of ingredients of alcoholic beverages and their combinations was also available, there were no restrictions.
But when we settled in, the package contained the availability of ALL drinks from 10.00 to 24.00.
00 (I enclose a photo of the hotel policy given to us upon check-in), somewhere from Monday (27.08) some old stump appeared, which was very indignant at my desire to drink an alcoholic cocktail in the lobby bar on Tuesday (28.08), after 11 pm. As a result, he changed the Hotel Policy on Wednesday from 10-24 to 10-22, although we had red bracelets (AI 10-24), and other guests had orange bracelets (AI 10-22). And this policy change was made quietly without notice to existing guests with AI 10-24. We found out about this only on Wednesday (29.08) in the evening after 11 o'clock from the bartender (we sat in the evening with recently arrived Kiev residents - we shared our "experiences" and wanted to drink tea and a non-alcoholic cocktail), who referred to instructions from the reception. Well, here I didn’t stand on ceremony - I forced the receptionist to connect with the director of the hotel - to whom I popularly explained everything.
He replied that he did not decide anything, and only the owner of the hotel (the "old stump" mentioned earlier) decides everything. He asked me to connect with an old stump - the girl at the reception already had square eyes from the tone and content voiced by her director, she said that he was a sick old man and would hardly be able to talk so late.
What we wanted to get at the lobby bar, we did get - for free, but it no longer mattered.

There is also information that the old man is selling the hotel - maybe something will change for the better over time.

But I recommend to everyone who goes to this hotel to think about such sharp movements of its owner - you never know if he wants to change the concept of the hotel from AI to HB retroactively and you can only clap your ears.

Also, since the day grandfather appeared on the horizon, there has been a certain deterioration in the composition of the food (variety and number of dishes) in all servings (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) - apparently the old stump decided to make money at the bar and save money on the kitchen.

So everything was great for 8 days, and the last four gave a sediment that crossed out the previous eight.
