I personally really liked Aishad: friendly, sweet and charming. Thank you Aishad!
The food is excellent, balanced - just not enough fruit, except for the "duty" apples and kiwi.
The room is clean and comfortable. The only drawback - although the noisy programs end at 23:00, but the people under the windows are not always correct, and often behave noisily. It seems to me that it is worth thinking about moving the area further to the sea, to a terrace above the sea - then after the end of the program noisy hotel guests will not interfere with your rest.
And, of course, there is not enough elevator to the platform above the sea...
By the way: a good spa.
Everyone is good, only the girl Natasha (the masseuse) is very annoying with conversations during the procedure, especially when she expresses her political pro-Putin thoughts to a Ukrainian woman.
1. Location. The hotel is located in the city on the embankment in a very convenient location - it is easy to get to any sights from here, there are many shops, shopping centers, cafes, discos and other things nearby. At the same time, it is located just below the embankment in an alley, which is very convenient - you left the hotel on the embankment and you are in the center of city life, you entered the hotel territory - and it seems like you are outside the city, you don’t hear street noise at all, and there are stunning views of the sea and mountains around . The embankment itself is very beautiful, extending in both directions for many kilometers. Along it are several beautiful park areas, as well as many shops, cafes and restaurants. 4 km to the right along the embankment is the famous Duden waterfall, I highly recommend taking a walk to it. It is very picturesque in the daytime, and in the evening it is also illuminated. Halfway to the waterfall on a parallel street is one of the largest shopping centers in the city - TerraCity, there are a lot of shops - both local brands - LC Waikiki, Defakto, etc. , and European ones like Zara.
On the left side of the promenade, there is a beautiful park with ponds in which turtles and colored Koi swim. From the hotel, we also went to the Old Town Old Town, the aquarium (near it is also Ataturk Park, amusement park, the national archaeological museum and the huge Migros shopping center). You can go by regular bus (KL08), but to travel you need to buy a special card with a QR code, register and activate it on a special website, which is not very convenient. Cash and bank cards are not accepted in Antalya public transport. Therefore, it is better to take a taxi - you can simply catch it (there are just a bunch of them everywhere) or call it by pressing a special yellow call button - they are located just everywhere on poles, there are also right next to the hotel. Cash payment on the meter (for example, from the hotel to the Old City, the cost was 27 lire).
2. Hotel infrastructure. The hotel consists of several multi-storey buildings. The territory is not huge, but quite spacious, everything is very neat, clean, well maintained. The views from the hotel are just breathtaking! It is located at the top of a sheer cliff, respectively, from above the view is gorgeous - the sea, mountains, rocks. At the same time, the view is very good both from the pool and from the pool bar, and from the snack bar, from the sports ground. I really liked how convenient everything was planned on the territory. For example, the point of issue/replacement of towels is located in a small house right next to the entrance to the beach and opposite the main pool. Easy to drop off and change along the way.
There is a shower near the sports ground. Everything is thought out also for the disabled. The set of services corresponds to a hotel of this class - a spa, a gym, a sports ground, several pools, including a slide, 5 bars, a shop. Animation is moderate - some daily activities (such as water aerobics, volleyball), live music in the evening, DJ or mini-show. But this is understandable - most guests go for a walk in the city in the evening, so there is no particular need for entertainment.
3. Internet. Free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel (even on the beach) and is of very good quality. This is rare in hotels in Turkey, usually free wi-fi is available only in the lobby, sometimes in the room, but generally everywhere... A pleasant surprise!
4. Settlement / room / service. We arrived at the hotel at two o'clock, we were quickly issued, put on bracelets and we went to dinner. We dined until 14 and then we were immediately settled. The hotel employee took the suitcases to the room, he also showed what and how it works in the room and gave the password for wi-fi. We offered him a tip, but he didn't take it. They cleaned every day without a tip, too, the bed was changed like 2 or 3 times in 7 days, towels were changed if they were put in the bathroom on the floor. The room was very nice, clean, overlooking the inner courtyard. We did not ask for a room with a sea view, because we only changed clothes and slept there, and from the entire territory of the hotel, the views are very beautiful everywhere. And there are no wastelands and trash cans nearby, so I think that there are good views everywhere. Everything worked in the room, I was very pleased with the centralized almost silent air conditioning. Cosmetics were also all there - soap, shampoo, toothpaste, shower gel, something else. They were also replenished from time to time. Also in the room there was a kettle, cups, coffee / tea, sugar sticks, water in the fridge. Safe is free.
The staff at the hotel is very friendly, they helped in everything, answered all questions. Everyone speaks English, most also Russian. The service is excellent - polite, unobtrusive (although the spa services were offered very intensively, but is that around? ). Everywhere in the hotel is very clean, I had breakfast early and saw how in the morning they wiped all the sunbeds with an antiseptic, cleaned the pool. The staff observes quarantine requirements very strictly, including all, without exception, constantly wear masks. Masks and antiseptics were always available for hotel guests, but they were used only at will, no one demanded to wear masks.
5. Beach. Along Antalya, the coast is steep almost everywhere, beaches with a gentle approach are rare. The hotel is located at the top of the cliff, respectively, you need to go down the stairs to the beach. The staircase is concrete, wide, comfortable, with railings, going up and down is not difficult (if there are no serious problems with the musculoskeletal system). Fig trees grow along the slope above the stairs, ripe figs fall right on the steps? . The beach is a wide wooden deck with railings and comfortable stairs to enter the water. On the beach - sun loungers, awnings, showers, changing rooms, a bar with drinks. Up the stairs - a snack bar with snacks. There were enough sunbeds for everyone, there was no need to take them in the morning, although some did so, but not en masse.
Sunset in the sea - immediately depth. For those who do not know how to swim, towels are given out such flexible pasta, as in aqua aerobics, which can be wrapped around the body in every possible way and so stay on the water, half of the people swam with them (or with all sorts of mattress circles). The water is clear, you can see the bottom well. I liked it even more than a gently sloping sandy beach - no need to walk on hot sand, wash your feet from it and constantly shake it out from everywhere, clean sunbeds, again. There is also a club of professional divers on the beach. They swim there all the time, they train everyone for a fee and you can dive with them and swim to the sunken submarine.
6. Food. The food is varied and very tasty. There are a lot of various vegetables - both raw and cooked (especially delicious eggplants in all variations). Four times a day there were 2 kinds of soups, different every day. Lots of olives and cheeses. Seasonal fruits - melons, watermelons, nectarines, plums, grapes, apples, everything is ripe and tasty. Meat is mainly chicken and turkey, but in different variations - with vegetables, and grilled, and breaded, and stewed, and in the form of cutlets and nuggets. Fish was also always available for lunch and dinner. In the evening, the grill was working on the street, they cooked an average of 6 different dishes on it. For breakfast, they served delicious fresh pastries of several types + always pancakes. Dietary and children's food is also full of all. Desserts are common for Turkish hotels - biscuits with different layers, jelly, soufflé , baklava, delicious caramelized pumpkin, brownies, yogurt desserts. In the snack bar - burgers, french fries, vegetables, fruits, grilled meat, guzemle cakes with various fillings, drinks.
I was very pleased that coffee was everywhere natural, not instant. Water was put every day in the room for 4 bottles of 0.5 liters. In unlimited quantities, it was in all bars in sealed plastic containers of 200 ml. (like yogurt in cups). It turned out to be very convenient, because it was just enough for one person to get drunk once while it was cold, and the next time to take it out of the refrigerator again. The distribution of food was carried out by the staff, as elsewhere during the quarantine. But there were practically no queues - everything was very fast, the workers just “flyed”. Food was put as much as you asked, an unlimited number of times. There was just enough for the end of the meal. There were enough tables in the restaurant for everyone, both inside and outside. The guests approached somehow evenly, they did not all run to the beginning of the meal.
7. Contingent. Mixed: most Germans, French, Turks; fewer Ukrainians, Russians, Kazakhs (apparently that's why I never heard Russian-language music in the hotel, and it was great! ). We had children, but not many. The age is mostly young and middle. The atmosphere among the guests was very calm, friendly, I did not observe any conflicts, screams, noise and other things.
So I liked the hotel in all respects, I didn’t notice any shortcomings (I didn’t look specifically and meticulously, but I have something to compare with), I can safely recommend it to everyone.
The room was provided according to the declared category with a really amazing view of the sea, rocks and mountains of the bay. On this admiration ended because the music and noise coming from the hotel grounds shocked with its powerful sound.
Closing the balcony doors, I realized that this did not reduce the soundproofing. The noise in the room is like a music box. All this went on until 01 o'clock in the morning until the bar closed and the last visitors left. So the state of psychosis is guaranteed to you, the owners of rooms with a sea view! I note that I immediately hurried to the reception with a request to change the room, which I was denied. Here, it is especially necessary to note the not very friendly staff, who pretend that they do not understand you and you turned to them with this or that question at a very inopportune time. They can easily hang up the phone and not speak.
The only bright spot in the management of the reception service is the Russian-speaking girl Diana, who kindly answers all questions (she only works during the daytime). Otherwise, there is an unpleasant feeling that you are superfluous here and prevent the staff from living their lives. Extremely unfriendly public works.
A few words about the host company and the company that sold the tour (see their name above). I made an unimaginable number of calls asking to be moved to another room, to another hotel, and finally just to change my ticket in order to save me from the torment of staying in this hotel. The reaction was from complete disregard for requests, to simple - these are your problems, solve them at your own expense. Amazingly boorish attitude towards the client (we got the money, we don't care about the rest)! I had to resort to a simple solution, remembering the experience of Soviet hotels, where there were never any places and they miraculously appeared after investing Soviet ruble notes in the passport. Thus, I was moved to a building in a lower category room, but where it was possible to live in relative silence.
Now about the room and the hotel. Definitely not a 4+ star hotel. The maximum is three. A hotel with a very (! ) small area, squeezed by a residential area.
The rooms are extremely small (if you are a large build, you will have trouble squeezing between the bed and the table); the plumbing is very old, the shower (room) needs a major overhaul. For the sake of objectivity, it should be noted that the design of the room was well conceived, but everything needs urgent repairs (! ). And yet, the bathroom is made of tinted glass (understand that your silhouette will be clearly visible to your companion in the room. For Internet lovers. Wi-fi in the rooms practically does not work anywhere (! ). Consider this if you plan to use gadgets.
Now about food. A restaurant, or rather, what they feed there can be designated as follows - only eggs in the morning; lunch and dinner poultry meat. Bread, vegetables and greens I omit. The food is monotonous and not always tasty. Breakfast is generally a problem. Omelet in one form or another, non-edible bright red sausages fried in oil - and this is every day.
For the rest of the rations, chicken, chicken, turkey and sometimes fish are one kind of fried for lunch. The rest is salty side dishes: potatoes, rice, pasta in various forms of serving. Desserts, despite the large assortment, are hardly edible, since this is a sweet mess of various colors and shapes of almost the same taste - dough richly soaked in sugar syrup. From fruits: watermelon, melon, apples, pears and that's all.
A few words about vegetables. It is surprising how in season, in a country exporting tomatoes, one can find such not tasty, often rotten fruits for a restaurant? ! Freshly squeezed juice for 150 ml - 2€. Tea bags are cheap. The waiters are not attentive and not efficient. In a word, all this resembles a roadside fast food buffet restaurant, which is not expensive in price.
About the sea. Not unambiguously. Pantone on high farms. Access to the sea under the pontoon on the stairs.
The feeling is strange, as if you are swimming in some kind of industrial zone (not pleasant). The sea is immediately deep (! ). The bottom current brings ice water from the depths into the bay, so be prepared that you will fall into an ice stream (for a lover of contrast baths)). I am worried about something else that I have not seen lifeguards on duty in such an extremely dangerous place for sea bathing - an extreme disregard for all conceivable safety rules for guests!
About sunbeds. If you come closer to dinner, then with a 100 guarantee there will be no empty seats due to the fact that they cannot physically be enough for a sufficient number of guests due to the small pantone area. So, what's the bottom line. A noisy three-star hotel in need of urgent renovation and repair, with mediocre cuisine, with staff in Russian, "they won't scatter. " And one very important plus is a gorgeous view (from certain rooms) of the sea!
I warn you in advance, this is my subjective opinion and the opinion of the people with whom I was there, most likely it will be relevant for people from 18 to 35 years old. But it will not be superfluous to read, because there will be a lot of interesting things here ...
Let's not pull the cat for a well-known place and divide the entire review into several parts: Positive, Negative, In general.
- Positive:
1) Location.
The hotel is located in a very interesting place, it stands on a rocky coast, 60-100 meters above the sea. You will discover chic landscapes, waves of ideas for rich photos and a beautiful terrace standing right on the cliff, where you can watch the sunsets under the quiet sounds of the Mediterranean Sea.
2)Working staff.
Indeed, having visited many hotels, I can say with confidence that this one has a very good working team. Yes, as they say, not without *****, but these are isolated cases. And in general, I’m talking about the waiters, attendants, etc. , in no case about their bosses and management staff, who, through their fake smile, hide so much hatred for you that it spoils the mood, I won’t go into details.
(I want to express special thanks to two bartenders, who, in my opinion, were the best among all, able to cheer up, keep the conversation going and help you in case of any problem: Batugan and Ataberk, thank you. )
No matter how I try to suck more pluses out of my finger, I can't..
- Negative:
1) NON-club hotel.
To see the frank disappointment of a young guy and his friends who were recommended a place, and the place itself recommends itself as a center of endless fun, it would be enough to look at my face after 2-3 days in this hotel. This is a real nursing home. A contingent of people 40-45+ and small groups of European youth who lay by the pool all day. If it were not for the cheerful company that was formed from us and other guys who were surprised by such a setup, the rest would have gone down the drain. If you can somehow describe a place where, well, in general, there is nothing but food, water and BINGO - this will be the best description for this hotel.
2) Everything is OFF or how not to die in the HOTEL FALCON.
Monotonous menu from day to day, lack of experience and knowledge of the bartenders (except for the above, they will surprise you for sure, but these are two out of a dozen who do not work every day).
But the main trouble is that the food itself is not just cloying, similar to each other and terribly fatty, it is also made from low-quality products, I generally keep quiet about cocktails, don’t drink them! Pure chemistry and dyes. You can only drink pure alcohol, which is neither bad nor good. I felt bad as soon as I arrived at the hotel, but it became better when I returned home and started eating normal food. My friends have completely stopped using anything in the last three days, preferring the nearest Burger King with the words: "We will be healthier. "
3) Hookah.
Under no circumstances do not take a hookah in this hotel. They have a guy who, apparently, learned about hookahs exactly when he was offered a job here.
You will give $ 17-20, but in fact you will not understand what, I’ll say more, even without knowing anything about hookahs, you can go online and try to score it yourself, I’m sure it will turn out much better than this “master”.
4) Lack of a beach.
For me personally, this is not a minus, because I even liked it. I just jumped from the bridge and already 5 meters under my feet, beauty. But as a warning to families with children, I will write about this.
5) The room and its cleaning.
Do not believe about the restyling of the hotel, allegedly carried out recently. The room leaves a lot to be desired, plywood beds with terrible mattresses, broken corners, a broken air conditioner taking on a life of its own, a clogged sink and more. And yes, we asked how to solve these problems, to which we received the answer: “Yes, of course, we will take all possible measures! ". As you probably already guessed, moving out of the room, the problems escorted us on a good journey, but they themselves remained in their places?
I won’t be verbose about cleaning, maybe we were unlucky with cleaners, but the room was always in a terrible state (yes, we know very well ourselves, we left a tip, it didn’t help at all).
6) Terrible internet.
Not that it matters, because we came to rest. But still, sometimes you want to come in, write to someone or climb somewhere, sipping a cigarette by the pool. There is no Wi-Fi, from the word GENERALLY. I have never seen such bad internet.
7) Language barrier.
Most of the staff does not speak Russian, but what is there, there are not so many of those who would know English well. Why did I then speak well of the staff? Yes, because I speak English and have contacted many people, while without this knowledge, you will get into this hotel a lot.
8) The mode of operation of the sea and the pool.
Well, this is absurd in my opinion. The sea and pool close at 19:00.
And okay, the sea, without a beach, after all, is dangerous for those who have already drunk and poorly swimmers, but the pool is 1 meter deep, I can’t understand who was disturbed. My indignation intensified when I found out that in many other hotels all these events go to naught by the hours of 22:00-24:00.
9) Smoking throughout.
I myself am the kind of person who doesn’t smoke in everyday life, but I won’t refuse a cigarette while relaxing or drinking, so for me this is neither a plus nor a minus, but friends, kamon, you need to have respect for other people, I saw many non-smokers who choked on the smoke at every turn. You can say that this is a problem in people, and you will be partially right, but if there were a separate lobby in the hotel for smoking or special areas in each part of it, then I think that we smokers would not lose much, but people who do not like to smoke would get their legal right to breathe the sea breeze, not acrid smoke. Judge for yourself.
- Generally
I can say with confidence that I didn’t write down all the minuses, because I forgot about some points, I’ll remember some later and add it, it doesn’t matter.
To sum up, I can emphasize one thing for sure: this is NOT a hotel where you would like to stay, this is NOT a hotel where you will spend your time comfortably and this is NOT a hotel where you want to return again.
Even the very atmosphere of relaxation and the sea does not save this place, to come here again in general is a special degree of masochism. In terms of price-quality ratio, this hotel broke all possible anti-records in my experience. Worst of all, I don't think any hotel will ever come close to such low rates as this one.
And this review would not be so angry if some people from the staff, I won’t say which ones, during our conversation in the dining room, would not openly confirm my words that the rating on all sites of the hotel is BOOSTED and many good reviews written far from the guests. From here my nail followed in the lid of their coffin. I know that there will be a lot of angry reviews from bots and their bosses, allegedly “we were resting - everything is a lie, it’s super here! ”, some sites will delete my review, this is also not important. After all, it will be posted on all forums and reviews, but it won’t be possible to clean it everywhere, and I hope that this text, which I wrote for an hour and a half, will help someone not to stumble in choosing a nest for their vacation. If you've read this far, good luck and happiness! )
For those of you who are just scrolling down, the bottom line is: DISAPPOINTMENT.
1(for the view)+0.5(staff)+1(for Batugan and Ataberk? )= 2.5 out of 10.
The hotel is located on a hill above the sea - the view from the window is very beautiful on the sea and mountains. But this is also a drawback - it is easy to go down to the beach, but sometimes it was difficult to go up. The sea is clean and transparent - no sand, no pebbles.
I do not like to go to the same place twice, but I would come here))
1. Nutrition - varied: vegetables - stewed, grilled, fries, baked, etc. ; fruits - watermelon, grapes, grapefruit, figs, melon;
dairy - yoghurts with various additives, cottage cheese. For breakfast, fresh muffins, very tasty, pancakes, pancakes. For lunch and dinner, traditional desserts. Grilled fish, stewed with vegetables and baked. The meat is mostly chicken in various variations, the meat has a strange taste (apparently, soy, in the form of cutlets and stewed with vegetables.
2. The sea is clean, the view from the hotel is beautiful.
3. The room is clean, cleaning every other day and on request if necessary
4. Proximity of the hotel to the market (on Saturdays, the children went to school), in 15 minutes there are two large shopping centers. I don’t advise you to go to the textile center there, everything is expensive, what you can buy in the shopping center and on the market.
5. We visited the oceanarium on our own (by bus KL08 to the children's amusement park for 40-45 minutes, then go over the overpass to the opposite side, go around the shopping center on the left - it cost 60 bucks cheaper from the tour proposed by the guide)
6 I drank alcohol only beer - a pleasant taste of low alcohol, cold after a walk in the heat - lovely, although I don’t drink at home. I didn’t even try the wine - they don’t recommend drinking Turkish wines.
On Saturdays, the market (clothing and food) arrives, it is located 150-200 meters from the hotel to the right of the road. Very interesting. There, the sellers are shouting “Thing lira, thing lira” Like everything is 5 lire (100) rubles)
We swam in the pool and went down the stairs to the panton to the sea, the water is clean here and there. Children cannot go down to the sea, as there are rocks. boulders in the water and legs can be hurt. The sea is very salty. Fish and crabs swim.
At the reception we immediately paid 20& for a sea view, $5 for a porter. And the whole holiday enjoyed the beautiful view from the window of the room.
The safe was broken, but it was fixed within 30-40 minutes, the master was far away.
I liked everything in the hotel: the employees are friendly and smiling (we, too, do not like people who are always dissatisfied with everything),
I liked the food (but when the Germans left on May 8, and there were a lot of them here, they started to feint, some dishes were laid out yesterday, (the owner is mean), they were cleaned every day, they missed it only once, I didn’t notice how they changed towels, but everything was always clean, the dust really wasn’t wiped off. , they say they will do it in January 2014 Well, nothing, but the doors in the bathroom are a little peeling off in our room and there is grayness in places between the tiles, almost imperceptibly. The standard rooms are not large, but cozy. In the neighboring hotel, they say there were interruptions in water We have never had anything like it.
It was our first vacation, so we really liked it (we played tennis for free, went to the sauna, met a DJ, he sold T-shirts there from time to time, he used to work in Moscow clubs, and now at local discos in Kemer 2 big clubs). There were pleasant impressions. I would rest here again, but as always I want more and more new impressions.
