Upon arrival (we were late), we were given a plate of stewed and fresh vegetables. Not tasty, but thanks for taking care.
Settled. There was mold and fungus on the ceiling in the room. I asked to change the number. Changed without problems, immediately. In this second room, as it turned out later, there was no hot water. The next day I reported this problem to the reception. In all seriousness, the administrator suggested that when it would be necessary to wash, take the key to 314 (sort of) rooms and wash there. I said that it would be inconvenient for us and I wanted a room with hot water. We were moved to a third room overlooking the sea (and the road). Upon checking, it turned out that there was hot water. The joy was short-lived, the water disappeared after a few minutes and did not appear again.
The next day, a meeting was scheduled with the hotel guide (from our Intourist, this is a pleasant charming boy Bakhtiyar). Bakhtiyar went with us to the reception and, after talking in Turkish with the administrator, found out that the hotel has rooms with hot water. And there are rooms where there have always been problems with her. And he also said that tomorrow a room with hot water would be free and we would be settled there. The next day we were settled in our fourth room, 102. And we got high. There was always hot water in the room, and, quite by accident, I caught wi-fi from the lobby.
Wi-Fi: free, in the lobby. Average speed.
Swimming pool: yes. Visually clean. I swam there a couple of times. There is a hill. The owner of the hotel also bathes in this pool.
Food: the choice is very monotonous and meager. For example, for breakfast it is: sausages, boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, greens, two types of cheese, sausage, honey, two types of jam, bun, cottage cheese, cereal. For breakfast, the chef makes scrambled eggs. The funny thing is that not everyone gets this scrambled egg. That is why in this hotel you should not clap your ears, but get up before dawn and go to breakfast with the first roosters, it starts here at eight. Who did not have time, he will be left without fried eggs. Meat is a sore subject. He is not. Sometimes you can meet for lunch, and more often only for dinner - one dish with chicken or turkey. Once for dinner there was fish on the grill, once - chicken on the grill, once - chicken from the oven, once - something like shawarma. Everything - strictly according to the issuance, i. e. piece by piece on one plate. If you are late and do not come to dinner at least until seven in the evening, stewed vegetables will remain from the food, it is not customary to replenish the meat dish here. Desserts - the choice is poor, only for lunch and dinner 1-2 types. Fruits - two kinds of apples, watermelon, orange. Grapes were served a couple of times for dinner. The bun is one species throughout the entire time. No more baking. Sausages are more or less edible, sausage and cheese are impossible to eat.
In fairness, it’s worth saying that everything that is cooked (I don’t know if they make it here or bring it) is all delicious. Chicken, fish, stewed vegetables, baked potatoes and french fries - in my opinion, very tasty.
Drinks: Coffee from the machine is disgusting. I enjoyed drinking tea with honey. Water in the cooler near the restaurant. There is also water on the beach, and some colored water, I didn’t drink it. Drinks at the bar: I drank a mojito, my companion was whiskey and cola. I don't know about alcohol.
Housekeeping: perhaps the most sore point in this hotel. Everything else can be understood and forgiven, but the disgusting cleaning, the bad preparation of the room for check-in is impossible to forgive. For the entire stay in the room, the floor was wiped once (it was wiped and only in the room, in the bathroom - no). Dust is not wiped during cleaning, in general, there is no cleaning as such. One evening I had the need to change the sheet and coverlet. With great difficulty they found two sheets for me, one of which was dirty and the other small. The room is hardly prepared for check-in. They limit themselves to changing bedding, towels and dust from above. Nobody here cleans sinks, toilet bowls, faucets - they are terribly dirty. Moreover, I am not the most harmful guest, I don’t need the bed to be changed every other day, for example, people who complain that they don’t change their bed every day are always surprised. But the negligent attitude of the maids to work is simply amazing.
The general condition of the hotel: three with a minus. Non-closing doors in the toilets on site, dirty rooms, no hot water.
Beach: across the road. Small and large pebbles are bare. The beach itself is sandy. Not to say that it is dirty here. It is removed from the garbage, but not fanatically. I love the sea in any manifestation and form, so everything is ok with the beach and the sea. The beds are dirty and cracked. There are no beach towels. For an afternoon snack, they bring a few desserts for a snack.
Location: good. The fact that the sea is across the road (you need to go through the tunnel) is a plus. Shops, market nearby, stop opposite. We went to Alanya a couple of times to Cleopatra beach, it’s cool there.
Hotel guide: we went from Intourist, we had a guide Bakhtiyar. Good boy. He agreed on a new room for us, and he said: it’s impossible without hot water, let’s go make a riot. We took one excursion from him, a sightseeing tour to Alanya. We really liked it, really. Bus on time, fortress, port, mountains, Dim Cave, good lunch, wine tasting, boat trip. The views are amazing, the tour guide is great. We are aware that excursions "on the street" are cheaper, but we deliberately took a tour from Bakhtiyar, because everyone needs to earn money: he, the guide, the bus driver, those who cooked dinner, the boys from the ship, etc. in terms of man-hours, these are pennies.
We went for 7 nights in mid-September, paid 57.000 for the tour for two (including the flight).

For the price, for the location to the sea, for the good reviews of tourists chose this hotel. Not to say that everything was as written in the reviews. The three of us went, and the room was for two, there was an extra bed, but for three the room is tiny, there is nowhere to sit, or stand or lie down. The room was refurbished, not cleaned very well, there were some holes in the towels, the bed was changed once, and then somehow at random.

The room was refurbished, not cleaned very well, there were some holes in the towels, the bed was changed once, and then somehow at random. The food is not varied, just back to back, you need to come exactly at the beginning of breakfast, lunch or dinner, if in the evening there is some kind of meat, then in half an hour it will not be there. If the time indicates that dinner is before 9 pm, then at 8 there will be nothing there except salads. If you come to the beginning of dinner to take the main course, then you can live. There is no territory there, a pool and something around it. The downside is that the hotel is along the highway, it is noisy there, there is no fence from the highway. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the shops. On the beach there is a sandy entry into the sea, stones on the side, but the sea is unclear, with some kind of garbage, and the beach is closed at 5-6 pm, everyone is kicked out and sunbeds are folded. In August, at such a time, I only came there, and that’s all)

The hotel is not cozy and quiet as they say, the hotel is located - no, not near the road, but near a busy four-lane highway, along which cars go in an endless stream 24 hours a day. Liked:
1. Rooms after cosmetic repairs.
2. Cleanliness in the hotel itself.
3. Proximity to the sea, convenient sandy entrance to the sea.
4. There was enough food if you come in the first 30 minutes after opening, cooking is normal.
5. Near shops, cafes, market.
6. Friendly staff, no one requires baksheesh.
7. Everything worked in the room.
8. Drinks, tea, coffee are freely available.
Did not like:
1. Lack of green space.
2. Motorway noise.
3. Lack of sun loungers on the beach.
4. The beach is open until 17-00, at 18-00 the sunbeds are stupidly taken away, piled up and fastened with a chain.
5. From the fruit of 7 days, only watermelon.
6. The main course is only enough for the first 30 minutes (I specifically spotted when the barbecue was being prepared, dinner at 19-00, at 19-40 the barbecue was already cold).
7. Lack of water in the room.
8. Unpleasant smell in the bathroom.
9. Shabby towels with holes.
10. Cleaning is worse than in Egypt, swans are not twisted for a dollar or two.
11. Lack of hot water in the morning.
12. Rooms for three are cramped (it can be seen that they are designed only for 2).
13. Lack of animation.
14. The water near the shore is unclear and with garbage (a little but unpleasant).
15. The wine at the bar is poison, I didn't like the beer.

We had 2 reasons to choose this hotel: 1. we found out from the reviews that the food in the hotel is very good; 2. price. The downside of the room is the noise. Plus - a good room, in terms of renovation, bathroom, balcony, etc. Of the minuses: rude administrators and hammam. All other hotel staff are excellent. The beach is simply gorgeous, the hotel area is small, but we understood that it would be so. Our hotel is located almost in the center, everything is there, everything is nearby, this is also a plus.

We rested in August for a week, the hotel is more likely not for a family holiday, if you need to relax, you can’t, there is a bar and a track nearby, unfortunately, one watermelon was served from fruit every day, as they wrote on the hotel’s website, fruit, meat: lamb, veal, it's a pity the meat was served once - it's shawarma and barbecue, chicken soup, I had to go to the beach for hamburgers and french fries.

The menu every day included cucumbers, tomatoes, various greens, beets, carrots, pickled zucchini and eggplants in sauce, various sour sauces, sausages, doctor's sausage, pasta, spaghetti, all this can be eaten at our house, only for less money, counted on the variety of Turkish cuisine.
It is better, of course, to give money for 3 * hotels, which, in terms of food and service, are like 4 *, they hoped that they had found such a hotel based on positive reviews and good ratings, but this is purely 3 *. On the first day they served baked potatoes, they were delicious and weren't served again in a week. The chocolate pudding and chocolate cake, shawarma, barbecue, hamburgers, egg omelet a couple of times were delicious. The tastiest was immediately taken apart, not always enough for everyone, but the fact that the tastiest lay further, one could pay attention to the fact that people like to cook even more portions, and what they don’t like to cook less should also be included in the service.
We visited for the first time. Who plans to relax, decide for yourself.

PROS: Good rooms, delicious food, bottled drinks, sun loungers with mattresses, awning, not crowded on the beach, 10 Russian channels, the sea is close. MINUSES: Men without women are not accepted, a noisy track behind the pool, a sea with garbage, it can smell on the top floor (heard from those who moved), there is no tennis table, rackets and a ball (but you can knock, especially with your own rackets and a ball), plastic glasses for beer rinsed but not wiped, no TUI manager.

In Turkey on May 8th it turned out to be colder than in Moscow. A cold wind blew for 3 days, a blanket is needed at night. I ordered a blanket at the reception, they promised, but did not bring. I asked the cleaning lady - she gave me a second thin blanket. Then they gave me a third. It turned out that there were 30 blankets for 67 rooms.
For the first 3-4 days, a cold wind blew and a strong wave prevented entry, but you can swim if you wish. At the hotel beach on the right, 30-50 meters to the west the bottom is better. The beach is deserted and without buoys. Almost all sun loungers are free.
Mattresses are provided by the bartender on the beach. There in the bar the water is clean and tinted. At 15 o'clock they take out cookies or something else, but less often. If you forgot, you can recall.
Nearby beaches are either abandoned or empty. The nearest beach with rare people is a hundred meters in both directions, and the next beach to Antalya is more than a kilometer away. On May 12 it became warm and sunny, the wind died down.
The choice of dishes is small, but tasty, they try to diversify. From meat - chicken or cutlets are delicious, on Friday river trout, there are chicken giblets, mushrooms. Once there was a lamb skewers. From fruits - apples and oranges. There was a delicious cake - pastries. Soups are good for lunch and dinner. They recently changed the chef - everything is delicious.
Beer, white and red wine, gin, local whiskey, but decent for its price range, bottles are opened and poured before our eyes.
The hotel was a little full, even by the pool most of the sunbeds are free.
If you leave the hotel and turn right, towards Alanya, then at the first roundabout Deniz bank with ATMs (for 100 lira takes 3 lira), and at the next intersection - Change Office, where the dollar cost 5.9-5.75 lira (the exchange rate fell), - the only exchange office in Konakli. Some places even accept MIR cards.
Behind Deniz Bank are chain stores BIM, XEZBOL, A101. Even closer is Shock (Soc). Big Migros - to the right to a dead end and to the left (to go from the sea) a couple of blocks.
Along the highway towards Alanya, you can walk in half an hour to the walking area with fountains, sculptures, views of the mosque, attractions, stalls and TIME CENTER from Waikiki.
Wednesday exit market. From the hotel to the right to it about a hundred meters. Pistachios traded up to 60 lire/kg.
WI-FI works in the lobby and nearby.
Shower gel and liquid soap over the sink.
Bus stop to Alanya: go through the underpass to the beach and immediately turn left and then left. Get on the empty Konakli-Alania bus first, because the hotel is on the outskirts of Konakli.
Before leaving, you order a lunch box and specify the departure time in detail (due to the absence of the TUI manager, they gave me the time 10 minutes later than the actual one by calculating: departure time minus 5 hours). If the check-out is shortly before the start of breakfast-lunch-dinner, you can ask to come in for a bite to eat early.
8-10 breakfast
12:30-14 lunch
19-21 dinner
11-23 alcohol.
Tea, water always. Water from a pipe through a purification filter.

We stayed at the hotel for 11 days. There were doubts about the choice after a million read reviews. In general, everything is not as bad as it might seem at first glance.
Territory: small, clean, comfortable. It's impossible to get lost. Large clean pool, sunbeds, umbrellas. There are smoking areas with ashtrays.
Location: on the first beach line, 70-100 meters from the sea via an underpass. There is a small local shop 3 minutes walk from the hotel. If you dare to go a little further (10-15 minutes walk) there are supermarkets and stalls with souvenirs.
Room: Small, clean. Matrices, bedding, towels - no visible stains. Cleaning was done upon request. True, for the second time, three towels were not reported to us (apparently because they did not leave the maid for tea). The room has a balcony, billowing ropes, a few clothespins, chairs, an ashtray. The TV shows a dozen Russian-language channels. In the bathroom there is only liquid soap in the dispenser, so you need to take all the soap and rye accessories with you. There is also air conditioning, but it works very badly. From the last forces he tries to blow something (we are not even talking about cooling). There is a trick: the number number is the key to electricity. When you enter, insert the number into a special hole, and light appears. When you leave, take the number and the light goes out. A shabby-looking mini-bar, naturally empty, but even there there can be no talk of cooling (purchased water, for example). In addition, as soon as you leave the room and pick up the key, everything stops working.
Food: in general, a lot of vegetables (fried, stewed, fresh), delicious cream soups (sometimes a little spicy), fruits, sweets. Meat was not enough, but every day for dinner there was something meat (shawarma, chicken or fish). They didn't stay hungry. Drinks (coffee, juices, brewed tea) in any quantity are freely available. Bar near the pool. Any alcohol is poured without problems, cocktails are different, but not of very high quality. It's hard to drink.
Beach: large, there are sun loungers, stretched awning. Entry into the sea on pebbles. Clean beach, clear water. Beach bar with juice and water. There is a toilet, shower.
Service: they clean up quickly, there are no empty or dirty cups, glasses anywhere, there is no garbage either. The rooms are cleaned well. The chefs are working hard and it shows. At the reception, they always try to help and are focused on the guest, which cannot but rejoice (in our room it was dripping from the ceiling, the problem was solved within an hour).
In general, the hotel is not bad, it corresponds to its top three. However, the big disadvantages are that not a single room is properly cooled by air conditioning in a 30-degree heat. Saves the draft and the pool.
Another small nuance, but this is not a hotel. The rest is overshadowed by the presence of eternally dissatisfied visitors who express their dissatisfaction to everyone indiscriminately (“oh, they probably chose the worst meat”, “what, there will be no shish kebab? ”, “what kind of cakes are these, not shawarma, but it’s not clear what”), and with all this, they stand in line several times for a supplement, and scoop up full plates of food, which in the end they never eat.
This is an economy class hotel. Get ready for it. There will be no delicacies and frills. It's not 5 stars or premium. The hotel is quite decent for a holiday without frills. And it’s worth thanking the cooks and helpers in the kitchen, because the food is delicious and there is enough of it.
All the best!

In Turkey, we ended up in this hotel involuntarily, since Join Up canceled the planned tour 2 weeks before our vacation, and we hastily chose an alternative for little money, as we booked very early and therefore cheap. I always try to choose a hotel as close to the sea as possible, and Melissa is exactly the same, if not for one BUT: there is an intercity highway between the hotel and the sea, along which trucks, buses and cars rush around the clock.

We got a room with a direct view of the pool, the sea and, accordingly, the highway, so it was impossible to sleep with an open balcony, and the air conditioner was dirty and moldy, which no one cleaned for us during our stay.
The food was terrible, there was practically nothing to eat. The meat was only for dinner, I want to note the delicious grilled trout one of the evenings, but you always have to stand in line for meat. We went to eat in Konakli, in cafes where locals ate.
Animation: the bar played mainly Russian pop music, sometimes including the same song in a circle, so that the roof began to go.
It was nice to talk to the owner of the hotel, as we spoke only in English, he paid attention to us and told us a lot about his family, children and the hotel. He even prepared cocktails for us, from which we left the hotel with a decent hangover))
Now about the cons: the main disadvantage of the hotel is its guests. After this rest, I came to the conclusion that I would only rest in hotels for foreigners. Constantly occupied tables with panama hats, then with a rag, from which you have to walk with full plates and look for where to sit down to eat, sun loungers constantly occupied by the same people, both at the pool and on the beach. They came, there was nowhere to lie down - they lay on the sand, people leave, things are left. We return to the hotel - the same people are sitting on the sun loungers by the pool. Outrageous.
There are 30 sun loungers, what is there, what is there, there are 100-130 people in the hotel. But some frankly do not care about others. No one has yet bothered to hold the doors of their rooms when they close, so from 7 in the morning we woke up from wild slams of doors from drafts along the corridors - people ran to the beach to take sun loungers.
We did not try food and drinks on the beach. The beach is in the trash (((after Bulgaria, where special vehicles sifted the sand every evening, the sight was depressing.
Join up'a travel agent, like his "colleagues" in Egypt, imposed excursions from the agency, intimidating that we would be killed / stolen / sent into slavery and no one would help us. But this has nothing to do with the hotel.
Olesya is really pleasant, responsive, suggested how to get to Alanya and where it is better to buy a sim card for normal internet.

Checked into the hotel at three o'clock on the night of September 26th. Porter Suleiman treated us very kindly, although we had a lot of inconsistencies during check-in: either the light in the room was not on, or something else - after all, the room was 313! We drank coffee and even went to the sea. The view from the room is oblique both to the sea and to the mountains.

Porter Suleiman treated us very kindly, although we had a lot of inconsistencies during check-in: either the light in the room was not on, or something else - after all, the room was 313! We drank coffee and even went to the sea.
The view from the room is oblique both to the sea and to the mountains. Not noisy, not high. We won't say anything about the heat: the balcony was open all the time, the air conditioner was not turned on. They only came to the room to sleep and change. He was perfect for us. Cleaned up. There was shower gel in the shower, as was a hair dryer. Didn't check if it's working.
They fed well. A lot of vegetables. Both fresh and cooked. There is no abundance of meat. But there are a lot of watermelons and plums. I was very afraid to get better. But since I swam and walked a lot, I didn’t add kg.
Walk close to the sea. Trestle bed and umbrellas for free, enough for everyone. Yes, surprisingly, there was an afternoon snack on the beach for the especially hungry in the bar. Always cold water and yuppies.
Excellent relations developed with the porter Suleiman, Olesya (a girl from Moscow for permanent residence in Turkey), serving in the restaurant Azoda, with the owner Rafet. For the first time in my life, I saw the owner of the hotel catching up with the minibus with his guests (there were 8 of us) in order to personally say goodbye to everyone. And Cloud, how can one not say about the charming Cloud-bartender, disc jockey, dancer and just a good person.
It was the first time in Turkey. 3-star hotel "Melissa Garden" in Konakli, I think next year will be 4-star. Since the owner himself checks everything, takes care of the tourists.
I never go back to the same place, but for this small, almost family-run hotel, I would probably make an exception. Thank you, Rafet, Suleiman, Olesya, Tuche, a wonderful cook (I don’t know the name), for a wonderful vacation.
We went to rest, go on excursions, swim in the sea, get acquainted with the history and people of Turkey. Everything went great!
And most importantly: We were not looking for flaws!! ! We enjoyed life! !

For twelve days at the hotel, we ate the sun, the kind attitude of the staff, the beautiful sea and, of course, delicious varied food (there was meat and fish and chicken). The hotel looks ordinary, modest, but due to the fact that it is small, it is very cozy and comfortable. Turkish evenings are held every week, dancers specially come and make a foamy disco (the children were delighted) in the evening you can always dance music at the bar, of course drinks are all inclusive until 23 pm, you can play table tennis or just lie on easy chairs. In short, you can easily take a break from our Russian bad weather in this hotel. And not far away there is a nightclub, shopping malls, shops, a mega mall, a bathhouse, everything is nearby, you can go to the dolphinarium by minibus, much cheaper than through an operator.
And the hotel also has a unique person named Clouds - very cheerful, loves children, though he speaks English, but it doesn’t hurt you can always understand, at first he was an animator, and then he also had to be a bartender, Olesya at the reception is also sweet and friendly. Almost all Russian people rested.
The new owner named the hotel in honor of his little daughter Melissa, who, by the way, spent time at the hotel with her mother every day, swam in the pool (it is always clean, the water is constantly filtered) and ate. In conclusion, I will add that I really liked everything, and if you are going to go on vacation to Turkey - Alanya, this hotel is an excellent offer in terms of price-quality ratio !!!
I remembered a small flaw Wi-Fi only near the reception in the rooms does not catch. But the sea and the sun do not need Wi-Fi. But the hill in the pool there are children with circles right rolling down so much happiness there was)))
