Vacationing in Turkey for the first time. But there is something to compare with (were in Egypt, Greece, Spain).
At first we were somewhat disappointed with the size of the standard room. It's smaller here than we're used to. But, hotel service, food, entertainment more than covered all our dissatisfaction.
I also highly recommend taking an excursion with rafting and a jeep safari. Get a lot of positive emotions.
