We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of September 2006.

The hotel is ok in general. True, we chose it already 5 days before the trip, and then only because there were no other options. And so, if there were other hotels, I would not go to the village of Mahmutlar, because I somehow rested in this very village a couple of years ago at the Sanfire Hotel - the entry into the sea was terrible, solid stones, plus big waves, so we that time they didn’t swim, and they weren’t going to go to Alanya anymore. But since there were no seats on the plane to Egypt, which was originally planned, and only expensive hotels remained in Kemer, I had to go here.

A few words about travel agencies - they bought a tour from Karya, the carrier was Ukrainian Mediterranean Airlines. There were no delays from Kyiv, the return flight from Antalya was delayed by 40 minutes. But the food on the plane was disgusting - terribly meager breakfasts there, but they didn’t put anything meat on the way back, misery.

And they didn’t have any wine or juices - only water, vodka and carbonated drinks. And it didn’t come to tea at all - they brought it to the tail of the plane already when the plane began to descend and they told me to fasten their seat belts!

The road from the airport took 3 hours, we arrived after lunch was over at the hotel. At the reception, you need to get a plastic card for food, and also pay 1 dollar for it - that is, in fact, you can also redeem your own paid food. For tourists, this is not essential, but the hotel has extra money. True, we didn’t have to return it, they said that it was a “present”. On the very first day, with this card, we dined on the beach with local cakes, which are baked right there. Tortillas with two fillings - cheese and potato. True, I heard a few days later that someone ate cheese cakes and then he had an upset stomach - supposedly the cheese was not fresh.
Maybe, but nothing like this, fortunately, happened to us, and we ate them almost every day. We noticed one feature - the bar has plastic glasses and there are disposable ones. We somehow threw a disposable cup into the trash, the waiter took it out and took it to the sink!

What I didn’t like was that I was once again convinced that small hotels are much better. A large number of vacationers immediately highlighted the main problem of this hotel - its restaurant. When we came to dinner on the first day at exactly 19-30 (the beginning of dinner), we observed the following picture - waiting for the opening of the restaurant, there were already 40 people standing at the door, when the restaurant was opened, this crowd rushed in different directions: to take places and to food. First of all, everyone rushes to the fruit, which is scattered in just 10 minutes. Fruits - mainly watermelon, melon and grapes. So, after 10 minutes there was nothing on the trays! Especially grab the grapes.

All seats in the restaurant were occupied (of course, it was no longer 40 people, but much more). Sometimes there were not enough glasses. The barrel ran out of wine and no one added it. This reminded us of the times of the USSR, only in this pursuit of feeding, not only ours, but also the Germans and the Turks participated. It's wild to watch (it's interesting, but how in huge five-star hotels? )! Although for some reason this was not the case for breakfast and lunch. Moreover, many of the greed scooped up so many fruits that they could not eat them later, the waiters simply threw them into the trash. After this, we began to come to dinner about an hour after it began. Although it would probably be much more convenient to break the meal time into two stops and attach tourists to certain tables, as was practiced in Soviet boarding houses. It wouldn't create such a mess.
The hotel has two buildings (the second one is not visible in the photo, it stands behind the main building and, in my opinion, there is no sea view from this building). In the main building, the room numbers are up to 1726. So, if you come across a number, say, 2511, this is already the second building. When we checked in, we did not give anything to anyone at the reception, neither money nor bottles of vodka. And at the same time received a room on the 6th floor with a direct view of the sea. As the administrator later explained to us (he speaks Russian and English), he gives good numbers to those who are friendly, smile at him and communicate with him. And the one who stands with a frown on his face will not get a good number from him. True, a room with a sea view also has its drawbacks - the room overlooks not only the sea, but also the road, along which there is very heavy traffic, even at night, so you can’t sleep with an open balcony. Plus, during the day the sun shines quite strongly in the room and, accordingly, the balcony heats up decently.
And in the evening until 11 o'clock the animator yells into the microphone, so the metal-plastic windows do not even help.

By the way, before the trip I read in some reviews that the air conditioner here is centralized and works only at certain hours. Perhaps this was a few years ago, but now it works all the time.
There is absolutely no soundproofing in the hotel, you can even hear how they take a shower in the next room, sneezing, etc. ! Worst of all, if the neighbors are the Turks (and there are quite a lot of them here) - they are very noisy all the time, even at 6 in the morning they woke us up with their conversations behind the wall, so they had to tap.

On the left side of the hotel, a residential building is being built, although, in my opinion, they are not too noisy there.

The hotel itself reminded us more of a kindergarten - a lot of preschool children (since the school year has already begun). Most likely, the main reason is the water slides by the pool.
Plus, if someone is hoping to have fun with animation, it must be disappointing, it is here more for children, and all days were absolutely the same. In general, there is practically nothing to do in the hotel in the evening - people either go to the nearest shops, bars, discos, or take tables at the bar and in front of the stage.

But the sea pleased - warm and transparent. Yes, the entrance to the sea is rocky, but a fairly large area has been cleared of large stones, so you can swim. There were a couple of days of decent waves. The coolest time is in the morning, while no one else is there. By 10 o'clock all the sunbeds on the beach are practically occupied (near the pool, in my opinion, too, but we swam mainly in the sea, so I can't say for sure, I only judge by thrown towels on the sunbeds). On the beach, mattresses are really paid, which is quite unusual for a hotel of this star rating.

Water slides worked properly, though at a certain time.
All schedules are given at the reception on the first day, in Russian. There is also a tennis court indicated in the descriptions - it is located immediately behind the parking lot, if you look out the window overlooking the mountain from the hotel, the court is immediately visible.

We did not go on excursions, as we had been before. Plus, we came across a very peculiar guide from the host side - on the very first day at the meeting, to our question about a trip to Alanya, he painted a route for us, and then asked - Do you need it? He answered the questions of other tourists in the same way, as a result, almost no one went anywhere with him - a good guide, does not bother himself and does not create problems for himself.

In general, the rest went well, even better than expected. But if I were a travel agent, then for tourists traveling to Turkey for the first time, I would advise the Kemer area.
