We were lucky, as an apology, we were provided with a private transfer. From the airport to the hotel 135 km, we arrived in 1.5 hours, at 18:30 we were already at the hotel, the people from our plane were at the hotel at 22:00. it's 5 hours from the moment you get off the plane. 5 planes landed at once and people stood for more than 2 hours at passport control, then luggage, a bus, waiting for everyone, a road...
The rooms are good, big, spacious and clean. All with balconies. We lived there for 2 weeks with a child, then our husband flew to us and for another two weeks the three of us lived. Towels and bed linen were never changed. We ourselves took the clean ones from the cart and left the dirty ones. They took soap, shampoo, toilet paper. But this did not upset us.
The sea is nearby. but it is rather not the sea, but a pool of sea water. The buoys have large boulders that cause the water to stagnate. The color of the water is milky green. For the first time in 8 years, my child had a rash. everything went quickly, bathed him with soap and smeared with cream. every time after the sea it is necessary to bathe the child with soap. The entrance is imported coarse sand, you need to know the places, sometimes stones come across. With a child, I swam on my beach, when my husband arrived, we walked to the left, through three hotels, there is a huge beach with sea sand. Here the sea is just a fairy tale! Crystal clear, warm.
Nutrition is a special topic. Everyone writes, you will not stay hungry. And here it is not. for breakfast we ate only soy ham sandwiches and drank tea with lemon.
Tea in paper cups, he smelled like a glass, rescued a lemon. Eggs are 2nd grade, I myself watched when fried eggs are fried, the yolk does not leave the shell. We don't eat vegetables in the morning. milk does not curdle, if you squeeze a lemon into it, the flakes are musty.
lunch - my son ate rice and pasta. All the meat is stale and you don’t understand what kind of meat. The joy of children is nuggets. From fruits - only melons and watermelons. Melons are tasteless, watermelons are white, to take red, you have to wait and watch for a long time.
Salads - the sea. this is the only plus in nutrition. They bought pomegranate sauce, gave it for a couple of days, and then, apparently, they decided enough was enough.
Sweets are ugly. Once they took a gingerbread, it was soaked in fat and sugar syrup, I almost vomited.
For dinner, 2 times a week, they fried river trout fish, but the whole horror is that it is not fresh.
For lunch they laid out canned fish.
In general, I ate salads, eggplants, when they were, and watermelons.
We bought sweets at the market.
The son was happy with the nuggets.
Animation is awesome!! ! on Fridays foam party, darts, pool games at 12:00. My son, 8 years old, took part in everything and was VERY pleased. Won once. The reward is a delicious cocktail, we have everything included and cocktails are free, but this is half the trouble, they forgot to give it to him, and he began to ask for these cocktails all the time, initially he did not drink them.
There were many people from Ukraine, Ufa, Latvia, all the children were friends, flew away crying, exchanging phone numbers. Everything was very calm. 21:00 children's disco, 22:00 interesting programs, Turkish folklore. But my son fell asleep at 20:00, once we went to a concert, he fell asleep in the amphitheater.
A chic excursion to the Sialania Marine Park. At the entrance they give out masks with tubes. 6 pools, the first with stingrays, 50 pieces, you can swim and touch, the second - the Red Sea, all the beautiful fish of the Red Sea, the third - Greece - sculptures and castles of Ancient Greece... Mini water park, around the river with a current, waterfalls. Diving in the pool, in a cage, with sharks. You need to reach out and get a shell. With us, they break it and take out the pearl.
A chic excursion to Turkish Disneyland is very spectacular.
My son really liked the excursion to the temple of Apollo, the museum of ancient Greece excavations, the amphitheater.
Rafting and jeep riding, just super! Very nice and most importantly, safe.
Something like that.
My husband and I smiled, the son said that this was the best vacation in his life.
There is a faulty air conditioner in the room, mosquitoes, barely warm water, the noise of a busy road, the room itself is shabby, there is a bare wire in the toilet above the mirror, a gap of about 1 cm around the socket, the room was not cleaned, towels and bedding were not changed, shampoo and soap were not replenished. The location of the 4th building in which we lived (you need to leave the hotel to get into it), in the hall on the ceiling there are two holes from which water dripped, puddles on the floor were not wiped in the last days of our stay at the hotel, not to mention about cleaning corridors.
The food was good, but the lunch box, which had to be taken because of a night trip, spoiled the whole impression of food, it was unusable (plum, two mini packages with margarine inscription, one mini package with jam, two mini buns (the size of dumpling), stale half a tomato and half a cucumber).
I recommend the hotel!
Someone chooses just such huge, overcrowded noisy hotels with deafening animation, a paddling pool instead of the sea within walking distance, shopping nearby. . .
There is no internet in the hotel. Paid - wiring, people paid and got the same as the rest - watch at the reception for those rare moments when you can connect for a couple of messages. It's easier to buy a phone card and call from a payphone right there on site.
You will not be able to even just sleep here - roar, music, screams from 10 am to 2 am.
You will not be able to eat in peace - first you need to find a free table with a dirty tablecloth, cutlery and cold food. Tasteless, sometimes comes across stale dishes. The snack bar prepares gozleme and shawarma in front of you, it's quieter there, but the choice is limited.
You will have to drink any drinks all the time only from plastic and cardboard.
Water in the room is not put, people are gaining from the cooler. In Migros, a one and a half liter bottle of water costs 1.5-2 lira, in a grocery store for locals - 90 kurush.
The sea is not here. There is a fenced pool with muddy sea water, in which people splash like herring in a barrel. This is Anapa. To the open clear sea 400 meters to the left of the hotel through two neighboring hotels. There are shallow waters, and waves, and a fresh breeze, and silence, and calmness.
The territory of the hotel, in principle, is convenient as a beach option. The lower beach is crowded, bad umbrellas, one shower for everyone and no toilet. There you can sometimes feel the remnants of a breeze blocked by the pontoons of neighboring Granada.
The lounge area is quieter and more comfortable, imported sand, better sheds, but it is fenced with glass, so you feel like in a bathhouse.
The staff is not so much rude as dissatisfied, indifferent and indifferent. Nobody taught them to "keep face". Even at the reception they just try to get rid of you quickly.
Not once in 10 days did they change my towels, despite requests. Bed - 1 time, because I went into the room during the so-called. "cleaning". Finding out that there were no towels and appreciating the quality of her efforts, I defiantly took the left tip in front of the maid.
Local alcohol, neither wine nor beer did not like. Cocktails - colorful chemistry. An alternative to this is a night bar with imported drinks: it opens at 23.00 and is very hard to find there because of the roar of Soviet pop music.
There is a small fruit bar where you can buy freshly squeezed pomegranate or orange juice, ice cream, strawberries, figs, bananas.
Shopping street with Migros, local grocery, clothing nearby.
We were met by tired, unsmiling receptionists (the time was 2 pm). We had to wait about an hour before they figured out what was going on and where we needed to be settled. They put plastic bracelets on us, fastened all the way (long live the white stripe when tanning! ), handed us a shabby key card, informed that wifi was either free (working right next to the counter, except perhaps at 2 a. m. ), or paid (working, by the way, also only near the reception, but standing, as if catching all over Avsallar) and sent to the elevators. The elevator had to wait a long time, but, of course, this is not critical. It is critical that on the same day the elevator got stuck on the floor, although we did not exceed the recommendations (no more than 4 people).
The button to call the dispatcher did not work, and we were stuck in a hot cabin between the third and fourth floors for 10 minutes. If the husband hadn't moved the doors apart, they would probably still be standing there. The staff is aware of the problem. Moreover, this is not the first time the problem has arisen, and we regularly hear about it from other residents. The staff only lowers their eyes to the floor and mumbles something in broken Russian-English.
The room we were given was on the fourth floor. Spacious, bright, with two beds: double for spouses and single for a child. There was also a small balcony overlooking the pool and the adjacent building, air conditioning, refrigerator - in general, the usual set. However, there were also disadvantages here: dirty to the point of disgrace, the refrigerator overheats and barely cools (our strawberries, bought on the same day, disappeared, but what can we do).
The mattress seemed hard to the child, but this is a matter of taste, as everything suited us.
I would like to tell you more about the dirt in the room. No, there were no cockroaches, beetles and rats - thanks for that too. But there was a terribly dirty floor that obviously had not been washed for a week, a clogged leaking toilet and dirt in the bath (I remember my daughter also asked me if it was possible to step there with bare feet and if there was a risk of catching some kind of fungus - fortunately, they did without a fungus) . The instructions by the mirror said that the cleaners would come daily, change towels every two days, and bring shampoo, soap, and change bedding. In fact, the cleaners came, God forbid, once every three days, folded the towels on the bed, straightened the pillows and, with a sense of accomplishment, went to chat in their closet. They always brought two towels, two glasses and two shampoos.
Obviously, they sincerely believed that children did not need any of this and in general they live as pets. The quality of cleaning was not affected by tips or complaints. The cleaners do not speak English or Russian, and it is useless to prove something to them. At the reception, our valiant staff only muttered in response to complaints and looked guiltily at the floor. There was a case when the daughter caught a cold and stayed in the room after dinner to drink medicine. The cleaning lady broke into the room and began to prove something to her in Turkish, pointing to the door, showing that she wanted to get out, and she was obviously bothering her. The daughter is gone. When we all returned, the room was still as dirty as it had been three days before. What these gestures were for is not clear.
Now about food. They fed well. Without variety, but tasty enough, no one was left hungry. Steaks and pancakes were especially delicious, for which there was always a long queue.
There was also a bar on the territory of the dining room, which served alcohol (again, taste, but it was very average) and soda. It was also possible to pour juice from vending machines (apple, cherry and orange: most often, one of them is not available), coffee (as well as hot chocolate, which has never been available all the time), tea (black, good) and, of course, water. There is trouble with places and cutlery, especially with forks. They had to stand in a separate queue for the closet, in which they always ended. Overall, not bad.
Now about the Internet. I didn’t need Wi-Fi: I am one of those who come to the sea in order not to hear or see anyone. However, the husband and child needed the Internet: both for work and for communication. And now I will repeat what I wrote at the very beginning: either free Wi-Fi, which does not work most of the time, or paid. Wi-Fi prices are unreasonably high: one day - 3 dollars, a week - 15 dollars. ! 15 dollars!
for the Internet, which is barely loaded at the reception (which, by the way, is always full of people on their phones - you understand how they make money on this), although the staff fervently convinces you that it catches in the dining room, and by the pool, and even on the beach. The login and password are issued for one person, that is, you don’t even have to think about buying Internet for the whole room.
Scandals daily. There was not a single day that we did not find some guest or guest who stand at the reception and make claims to the employees: someone was brought at 23 pm, and they were not even left dinner, although they were forced to pay for a full day of accommodation (quoting one woman, obviously, for air), someone had an elevator stuck, someone was not removed, and someone was broken into in the middle of the night. Draw your own conclusions.
The main and main plus is the walking distance to the beach. You go down the stairs from the pool - and here you are by the sea.
Spacious, clean beach with plenty of sun loungers. There are breakwaters and even VIP places (the meaning of which none of us understood, because they mainly differed only in a thatched canopy, but, as they say, you can’t forbid living beautifully: in fact, they were always busy).
Good job by the animators. From morning until night, they are engaged in the fact that they entertain you daily. A program for every taste: here you can dance on the beach, and games by the pool, and aqua aerobics, and a disco for children. There are no complaints about the animators, they did their job 100%. The only negative is the disco until two in the morning. However, this minus is rather associated with poor soundproofing in the rooms, which is why the endless remixes of Artur Pirozhkov's songs were sometimes difficult to ignore. But for teenagers and young adults who like to hang out as long as possible, this is a good option.
In general, the hotel does not want to recommend to anyone.
The proximity of the sea does not atone for all the other disadvantages.
