Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday
We bought last-minute tours, only then we read the reviews on the Internet and were horrified where we were going! I will try to give an objective description of this hotel. I will be glad if my information helps someone. I will not say that the rest is completely spoiled, but I will not go to this hotel again. The hotel does not "pull" for four stars!
I'll start with accommodation. We arrived at the hotel at 23:00 local time. Paid a deposit ($20) for TV and air conditioner remotes and got the keys (room 219). As it turned out, there is no TV at all in the room, and the air conditioner works with a sound reminiscent of the growl of a tractor. We were immediately moved to another room (120). The air conditioner worked, the TV was (although the image was not very good), but one of the two lamps in the room did not work (the wire was broken). Underneath was the kitchen. The young man at the reception said a phrase like: “I swear by my mother, I would put you in a good room right away, but as luck would have it, there are no free ones! ”. For $10 a good number was found (309). On the shady side, and if you go out to the balcony, you could even see the sea in the gap between neighboring hotels. All equipment worked. They cleaned the room daily and even changed the towels (we left a $ 1 tip, because those who did not leave a tip did not change the towels).
Please note (if you are traveling with children) that there are no slides by the pool. The slide that is visible in the photos is the slide of the neighboring hotel. They won't let you in. : )

There are very few sun loungers near the pool, they are occupied from the early morning, so if you do not show a certain agility, then you are unlikely to be able to lie down near the pool.
The beach is certainly not 50m from the sea as advertised, but close enough. The underpass is in a terrible state, but no one uses it, everyone just crosses the road (there are few cars there, you can cross). The sunbeds on the beach are almost all cracked, the mattresses are old, many torn, umbrellas too. (By the way, if you come to the beach late, you may not get it either. ) Compared to the beaches of neighboring hotels, ARES beach is the most miserable.
The bar on the beach, which is written in the description of the hotel, is paid, but this does not play a special role, because. it still doesn't work. The pool bar is open, but you can only drink beer from drinks, and then it is poured in half a glass. I do not advise you to take wine at all - vinegar diluted with water. From cocktails - only gin and tonic (a tablespoon of gin, 50 g of tonic and a complete absence of ice). We are people who drink little, so we did not particularly suffer from the lack of alcohol. It was much more annoying that cola and sprite (that's all that was from soft drinks) due to the lack of ice, it was impossible to drink. And I wanted to drink. Drinking water is not provided in the room. The restaurant has cold drinking water, but, firstly, it works only during breakfast, lunch and dinner, and secondly, signs are posted throughout the hotel that it is forbidden to pour water "to take away" there.
There is no animation during the day. No one in the pool does water aerobics and does not teach Turkish belly dancing. : ) In the evening the animation is miserable. Always to the same music (such as "Dance of the Little Ducklings"), only children participate in it. An ensemble with Caucasian dances performed a couple of times (it is not clear just what they have to do with Turkey). By the way, in the evening you can’t find a free table near the pool, where the animation takes place (as well as sunbeds during the day).

But the worst part is the food! For breakfast, edible only boiled eggs, butter and cheese. This is just what they ate. There are a lot of dishes with some incomprehensible mixture on the counter. I do not advise. This is what is left of previous meals, only rolled through a meat grinder, seasoned with a large amount of hot pepper and filled with an incomprehensible sauce reminiscent of kefir. True, they gave scrambled eggs twice. At lunch, it’s even sadder - puree soup of one kind (a couple of times lucky - chicken fibers floated there), the same dishes with an incomprehensible mixture as in the morning, soy meat with potatoes or beans. True, there were still fresh vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, bell peppers, lettuce. But I advise you to eat it carefully: if you run a napkin over such a lettuce leaf, then a dirty mark will remain on it. At lunch, one thing was pleasing - you could eat watermelons, melons or oranges (not on the same day, but in turn) : ) In terms of food, dinner was the best - in addition to all the same dishes with an incomprehensible mixture : ) they cooked either chicken or fish .
Yes, more! If you still decide to go to this hotel, be prepared for the fact that tea or coffee in the restaurant of this 4-star hotel, you will drink from disposable plastic cups, because. There aren't even proper cups. More precisely, at the beginning of breakfast, lunch and dinner, they appear in the amount of about 15 pieces (two thirds of which are chipped and cracked), then even they disappear.
