The worst hotel on the coast!
We were in Turkey for the first time and for ourselves we concluded that it was the last. It's just not our country either in terms of climate, or in terms of the mentality of the attendants and the people in general, or in terms of cuisine... In general, it turned out not to be a vacation, but a complete disappointment. But get to the point! It all started with the duration of the transfer: 3.5 hours from the airport to the hotel is too much. We entered the territory of the hotel, an oil painting - all Russo-tourists are hanging out near the pool, the music is blaring, like in a disco, the furniture in the lobby is tattered, the rooms are not yet ready for check-in, they say, wait until they clean it up. I go to the bar, ask for a glass of water or juice (according to the conditions - all inclusive), the answer is - no juice, water in the cooler... While we are waiting for the room to be prepared for us, brave guys of local nationality come up and offer us a tour of the hotel . We go down to the -1 floor - a hammam, a sauna, massage cabins and a mini-gym. All this is presented under the sauce “don’t go there, we have the best quality and price” or “the cost of the procedure is $100, but for you, as for dear guests, there is a promotion - 50% discount only today. ” Impressions are aggravated after we, after an hour of waiting, get into the room: smoky, the bed will hold together terribly, the air conditioner does not work. But that is not all! The food is terrible! If you are not picky and you basically still need to fill your stomach - ok ! , but if you are at least a little gourmet or just used to eating well - you will definitely be surprised to say the least. We come for dinner - all the hungry have gathered, like animals at a watering place, and are waiting for the doors to paradise to be opened to them. The cherished door opens, and a frenzied crowd bursts into the dining room, sweeping away free juices, wine, beer, etc. along the way. My husband and I watch in horror. We stand in line, which before our eyes reaches a kilometer. Many pass us by, someone stands behind us (apparently, they also just arrived today). I ask my husband to stand still, take the instruments, and I myself go for reconnaissance. What was my surprise - no soups, no meat, no fish, solid sauces, salads with pasta, two or three types of potatoes, but they didn’t taste like anything... As a result, we decided to try everything that resembled our usual food. They didn’t eat, but they took a sample. We sat down at a table with long-term vacationers (determined by the degree of sunburn), and began to ask what and how. The guys from St. Petersburg laughed and said, they say, get used to it on the 3rd day. Accustomed to the 4th, waiting for departure back home. I'm also lucky that my husband has a sense of humor, otherwise it wouldn't be fun at all.
By the way, wi-fi in the hotel is paid, it works only in the lobby on the 1st floor, and then intermittently (I could not download the mail).

As for the village of Mahmutlar itself. Small, more or less clean, there is a market (works 2 times a week) where you can buy fruit. Opposite the hotel there is a supermarket where we bought food and Turkish delight when we left. The beach is dirty and unkempt. To get to it, you need to go through the underground passage, in which, judging by the aromas, "cultured people" relieve themselves.
In general, if you want to relax, I strongly do not recommend choosing this hotel! Although, if you are accustomed not to worry too much and after all of the above are still thinking, I think you will like it. In that case, I wish you a pleasant stay!
