The staff are super people, thank you??
Special thanks to the excursions from TYSON (inst. tyson_ekskursi), he brightened up our stay in Turkey, advised where to go and where not to go, and in general helped us a lot to navigate the city. We were on a ship, rented a car and paraglided??
We walked with friends around the city and he had the lowest price!
It is located on the left, as you leave the hotel, near the stalls with clothes
Excursions with the guide of our hotel were much more expensive (we had a meeting and he took 2 hours of our time and did not say anything worthwhile) of course everyone earns as they can
In general, the hotel is great! Thank you
Also, the tour operator Annex offers a hammam tour for $ 20, which is also more expensive than in the city. If you take a tour from the Annex, we recommend not to buy tours from travel agencies at the hotel, as prices are twice or even three times more expensive than local guides. At the same time, the representative presents incorrect information about the tour itself and what exactly you will be able to see there. How it happens: the day after your arrival, taking advantage of the fact that tourists have not yet had time to see all the offers outside the hotel, they say that only once they will come to the hotel to meet and then in the future you will not be able to buy tours and only today discount discounts (actually you can see them in a special room near the reception at the hotel every day). The same trip from a travel agency for the purchase of leather goods and fur. The store is actually located a block from the hotel and you can choose your own products at no extra charge from the travel agency.
All tours ended with souvenir shops, where prices are much higher than in local stores. For example, we took a sightseeing tour of the tower for $ 90 for two. According to the tour operator, the excursion included a visit to the cave, Cleopatra beach, a view of Alanya, mountains and a tower and wine tasting. In fact, we were taken to the lift, on the way no one told anything about the story, handed out tickets for the lift, and then walk yourself - meet at the exit. If you want to get further to the tower - an additional fee of 7 lira, you also have to pay for the cave. All this can be visited on your own, by bus or on foot. Then wine tasting, offer to try 5 types of wine, and then obsessively offer products at prices three times or even 4 times more expensive. For example, pomegranate wine is $ 25, which can be bought for 45 lira ($ 9, same brand). Pomegranate tea to try is not the one that is actually sold.
The price is $ 4 per bag, and in the shop near the cave they sell for $ 1. In this tour I liked the evening program - Turkish dances. The only excursion worth visiting is the Turkish Maldives (Lake Salda) and lavender fields. The guide told interesting stories about history, culture and traditions. The lake is picturesque, but the water is cold. The lava fields were already in the period when flowering was over. there you can try lavender ice cream, tea and buy various souvenirs of lavender and roses.
About the hotel: clean, got a good room on the 2nd floor with sea views. A little noisy in the evening, because the window to the balcony overlooked the pool, where the animation took place. Cleaned 4 times a week. for $ 1 made a heart out of towels, laid out artificial flowers). If you need to replace towels - you need to throw them on the floor. Immediately changed to clean.
The only drawback - it's detergents, gel and shampoo did not renew, just left on the first day of arrival, and then you need to use your own. Towels are not allowed outside the hotel or on the sun loungers by the pool. Take beach towels with you or buy them in the shops near the hotel. Also bring rubber shoes for swimming and sunbathing, as the shore is sand with pebbles and many stones are in the coastal area of the sea. The hotel is located on the 2nd shoreline, although actually quite close to the sea, you can go through the underground passage from the hotel. If you walk 200 meters to the right, the sunset is not so rocky. The food is good, there is enough food. Minus instant powdered coffee, juices, carbonated water, too, from the powder, little fruit and not very good quality. We can't say anything about the bar, because they didn't use it, although they saw that they gave out an unlimited amount of beer, wine, cola. sprite, etc.
In the minibar as a gift in the refrigerator there is a bottle of water that could be refilled in the bar or kitchen. The pool was not used, because before breakfast from 7 am all the sunbeds were occupied by towels, despite the direct ban on the plates. The administration did not pay attention to this. The area near the hotel is small, there are 3 swimming pools: adult, children's, with slides. Tourists are mostly Russians. In general, the hotel corresponds to the stated 4 stars. There is a gym, cinema. We also do not recommend exchanging money at the hotel, and in the city and pay in lira is much cheaper. it is possible in dollars and euros, but there is no difference in payment. 1 dollar to 1 euro. Wifi will not catch in the room, only in the lobby and next to the kitchen, but there is a bad pull.
1) arrived at the hotel at about 10 am and of course they said accommodation after dinner, i. e. after 3. we are hungry, tired leaving our suitcases went to the city in search of food, after an hour returning and talking with the administrator we were immediately given a room) and yes the room is very good))) 5th floor, sea view, 3 separate beds, clean and even had wi-fi for the first 5 days. That was the whole plus of the hotel.
2) in terms of food, it’s very poor, the most disappointing thing is that it’s like a velvet season and they gave just terrible watermelon or melon (just green). In between lunch, dinner, breakfast there was no snack !! ! nothing at all !! ! there was it is written that at 16:30 there is a snack, but even when they arrived on time, they hit it 2 times and then it was a cupcake with poppy seeds or cookies !! ! horror!
3) alcohol-beer, wine, vodka, crayfish, gin. It was impossible to drink, "Bartenders" are still there, they pour 50/50. Whiskey is paid. They don't make cocktails. drinks.
4) YOUTH hotel-nooo! ! and even despite October there were children and not a few. There was no entertainment for young people. That is, at 9 o’clock there was children’s animation for half an hour. After that, either dancers or magicians performed for adults and that’s all. At 23 there should be a disco there. But what kind of disco was it, we came there about 8 people, that’s the whole disco with Turkish songs, once my grandmother slept there, we immediately thought it was an insanely youth hotel, it’s a pity they didn’t film it. darts and all.
5) the sea, as she said on the beach, only soft drinks. The entry into the sea is terrible. Large plates, the legs are all injured, the waves were very large.
6) to entertainment 5 minutes-neeeeeeett !! ! to get to the street of bars 30-40 minutes on foot, drive from the animators to the club $ 7.
7) a separate comment about the guide IBRAGIM with a pineapple - this person apparently does not know his work at all and does not understand anything in excursions. In general, they were unrealistically disappointed!
The conclusion is that everything I liked about the hotel was the room. Everything else I described above. I do not recommend this hotel to young people.
The staff is not friendly. Khamsky.
Early check-in for $30.
Are the sun loungers all occupied with towels????
There are no beach towels.
On the beach, sun loungers stand 30 meters from the sea. Movement is prohibited.
The beach is dirty and not cleaned.
There are boulders in the sea that you can beat your toes on. Which is not good for families with children.
The water park is full of impudent and rude Turks. In relation to children of other countries.
The sun loungers near the pool are occupied even if there are no towels on them. The Turks make a scandal. If suddenly you put an evil on him.
The staff itself takes the sun loungers with towels and offers for a fee of $ 2.
Restaurant-dining room seagull people.
Food monotony to disgrace. Breakfast buns and eggs.
Room cleaning for 3. Bar in room only water.
Wi-Fi is everywhere, but it does not work. Or it doesn't work very well.
Anextur representative will always stick to the side of the hotel, not yours. There is no point in asking him for help.
The general opinion is not good. I do not advise you to relax in this hotel with a child without a male shoulder. Because if you are not with them, then you are nobody. Money is everything here.
If you decide to relax and enjoy the service and comfort, then you better not go here. I will post a photo
The hotel is not small, the rooms are not luxurious, but good, the TV shows both Russian channels and Ukrainian and Turkish. The TV is flat and big. Our air conditioner was old but working. Cleaning every day. There are bottles of shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Two separate beds, as ordered (I was with a friend). Beds are good and clean.
The territory is medium in size, fenced, nothing is visible from the street (like some hotels). Large swimming pool, next to it is a small children's pool (there are enough children). On the other side is a small pool with three different slides. Purely. After dinner, the territory is thoroughly washed, the sun loungers are partially shifted and tables and chairs are placed, because. animators work every evening. They start with children, then periodically change programs for adults. Recently, 7 African acrobats performed and they did gymnastic tricks for an hour! At the same time in the rhythm of the dance. It was cool. On the street there is a free bar where: spirits, cocktails (ice), tea, coffee, beer Ephesus. Juices are slightly diluted, the rest is not. At 4 pm there is a snack. Drinks are dragged wherever they want, the waiters patiently then collect everything.
Food. Some good words
The first days can burst from (I'm not ashamed to tell the truth) greed. Because the eyes run wide from abundance and I want to try everything. Meat, chicken, fish. Everything is always fresh. Yoghurts, salads in assortment. The first is always there, stands separately with spices to choose from. Very delicious. Every morning a cook stands separately and cooks an omelet, then scrambled eggs, then toast with eggs in front of you. Dessert is a whole other issue. Just a lot. Every time I tell myself that enough is enough, but it's so yummy! I had fruits with me: red apples, some huge plums, melon, sweet and chilled watermelon. In the hall there is a separate bar counter, where, at your request, they pour: vodka, red and white dry wine, coca cola, sprite, beer. In another part of the hall, juice machines are not diluted, such as we drink in tetra packs, just chilled water, a machine with coffee to choose from, tea. Drink what you want and how much you want. Yes, I forgot, olive lovers are also in the assortment and olives and olives. Big olives too. The waiters clean up after you immediately, they don’t wait for you to fill up with dirty dishes.
Excursions offer different. There is an opinion that excursions are cheaper somewhere there. We went for two days, coupled. First, to the excavations of the church of St. Nicholas. The road is very dangerous, serpentine, where 120 turns! Ride for a long time. After it, we were taken to a boat with a tour of the islands. There are ruins of destroyed historical buildings, streets. Very interesting. Then the boat enters the bay you like and the people bathe in the depths. Water is a fairy tale! Then lunch at the hotel. Then we were taken to spend the night in a 5-star hotel, where there is a source of thermal healing water. Dinner is there. Good numbers. Continuation the next day - breakfast in the morning, an excursion to the ruins of the amphitheater of the Roman Empire, then to the Cleopatra lake with healing water, then to the lakes with calcium water. The view there is just amazing. White Mountain and small lakes are like steps, each lake is lower and lower. Unforgettable impression.
So, if you take excursions separately, it is more expensive and do not forget that the ride there takes several hours. It's tiresome.
What I didn't like was no Wi-Fi! It's impossible to use it. If you manage to get through, great happiness. The message can still be sent, but only near the reception. It doesn't exist in the rooms at all.
The beach. . . the biggest minus. It seems to be there, but it is not possible to swim there. Slabs, stones, large pebbles. I specially brought silicone shoes for pebbles. But I almost broke my leg. They are not so slippery, but the waves, even not big ones, do not allow you to see where you are standing and the wave does not allow you to stand on your feet. Feet get caught between rocks. This is a thug! And they also warned that there are boulders a little deeper. In general, if you want to mutilate, go ahead. And comments, such as go to the left, go to the right, there are the same banks. We went to the beach in the center, Cleopatra Beach. It's fine there . . if there are no waves. If there is something fun. You can jump on the waves if you can... jump hard. But if the wave wraps up early in a surf, then you will wrap yourself in a surf like a chip and throw you ashore, and while you are with a bunch of rubble-sand in your nose and mouth and, of course, a kilogram in shorts and bras, you are trying to get up and crawl away, you are the surf of the next wave will process additionally. You crawl out on all fours with difficulty. He spat, caught his breath and again on the waves... if there was a desire to swim like that. We went once from the other side of the mountain (whoever was there will understand. Cleopatra's beach is on one side, and we are on the other. There is also a good coast, perhaps the best. But... there is such garbage... there are some predatory fish. She bit her friend on the leg. She was frightened, but calmed down, she thought that some kind of wand was scratched. But when she bit for the third time, she flew out like a scalded one, her leg was already bleeding. And people periodically jumped out of fright. It turns out that if on the body there is at least some old, even healed wound, for them it is like a bait. Those who do not have wounds swim calmly. There are none on Cleopatra Beach! Prices for everything in Alanya are high. For Ukrainians, for sure.
Cons: no beach or wifi. And so everything is fine.
Yes, very hot and high humidity. It feels like being in a sauna all the time. But you adapt, it's not very depressing.
The city is very beautiful and green.
