Good day to everyone! I want to start my review about the hotel with a quote from one tourist of this forum: "People, why are you so angry ??? " And here's why: I chose the hotel, focusing on the minimum price and region, it is clear that this is 3 stars , but I wanted to get to Alanya itself, preferably to Cleopatra Beach (according to the experience of last year's vacation, which I really liked). But the desired city three rubles turned out to be expensive, and we decided on Mahmutlar. modern and clean. And I read the reviews, I was upset. From the reviews it followed that the tourists broke and cut their arms and legs in the sea, because. there are stones in the sea, plus strong waves.
After reading horrors, I prepared plan "B" for my daughter and me: I chose on the Internet the apartment hotels in Alanya itself that were suitable for their location, wrote down the prices, marked them on the map. If anyone is interested, you can rent apartments from $ 8 per day and more, with breakfast you can pay $ 18-20 per day for two. We decided this: if it is impossible to swim in Mahmutlar, we will leave for Alanya. This is where I want to exclaim again: “People, why are you like this? In general, we spent all 9 days of rest on the beach of our hotel, we only went to Alanya to the market, but to see the city. The entrance to the sea is wonderful, first a strip of pebbles (small) and shell rock about half a meter wide, then sand. cliffs. There were stone slabs underfoot in the sea (very rare), but they are small, non-slip and protrude from under the sand, maybe three centimeters. It feels like you are standing barefoot on the pavement. No discomfort and injuries !!!!!!! ! There are big waves, it’s true (we got two such stormy days). We stood in the surf, jumped in the waves, caught sea foam, also our own
kind of entertainment. We walked along the coast, watched the beaches of other hotels in Mahmutlar. Yes, there were stone slabs and boulders. But there are a lot of comfortable places for swimming, you just need to take a step to the left or right. The sand is gray. The only thing I didn’t like was that after dinner garbage appeared in the sea (wood chips, plastic bags, apple cores), swimming in this trash is not very pleasant. Garbage washed up on the shore, and all this remained on the sand, the beach was not cleaned. Although in general it is much cleaner than on our Volga shores ! ! The beach is municipal, the hotel rents part of the land, sunbeds, umbrellas, mattresses - for free. Drink soft drinks and water is available in the "bar" on the beach, there is a shower, there is no toilet - this is also not good))). But in case of emergency, the hotel is close)).

I won't repeat the numbers. Everything was fine, everything worked. There was always hot water to wash, the pressure was good. I took a store napkin for the floor with me, because. I knew that the floor was tiled, the water from the shower would be all over the bathroom, because. no showers, only a small recess in the floor and a curtain.
Nutrition is a separate topic. We, women, were happy with everything. And I heard from men that there is not enough meat and everything got boring quickly. Many here complain that there are queues, that the distributor is on hot. All this was. BUT!! ! WHY do you think? And the answer is simple and obvious: the Turks were FORCED to put the staff on distribution, after seeing how the tourists behave during feeding !! ! Hungry and ill-mannered herd! Shame and disgrace! Here at five o'clock in the evening they gave cupcakes and cookies (this is an afternoon snack). There was no distributor. And the picture was as follows: by five, a queue of suffering people with plates was already forming, BUT the TWO TRAYS of cupcakes taken out were enough for two minutes and all the first five (maximum) people grabbed it, without hesitation, heaping full plates on themselves ! ! Here is our culture! Then the next couple of trays were taken out and the picture was repeated.
That's why they put distributors on hot, my dear compatriots!
During lunch and dinner, too, caricatures could be drawn on tourists: they line up (again in a queue)) in front of the doors of the restaurant, as on a treadmill, they line up at the start line, already 10 minutes before the start of lunch and wait "On
start! Attention! March! " It's no wonder that the Turks are laughing at us. If I were in their place, I would have died too. Shame, in short. After 15 minutes, there was no longer a queue, and the food was all in place, I don’t want to eat!
Thanks to the team of waiters and restaurant workers. They don't sit still for a minute. They try. Only the tablecloths could be changed more often on the tables, they are stained, of course. The remnants of food were swept away with a brush into the scoop.
I agree with other reviews about the attendants Raphael and the guide Leonid.

About accommodation, we also had a story. We spent the first night at the nearby Mary Beach Hotel. Fine. Two rooms (kitchen and bedroom), good bathroom, air conditioning, quiet!
Clean! We slept after the road, the next day we were settled at 11. Everything is simple here: the chief at the reception named Hakan and the aforementioned Rafael (he introduced himself to us as an administrator)) just want money. Those who bought a bathhouse immediately upon arrival, without problems got into the rooms.
I wasn’t going to give bribes, I blew my lips, threatened to call Coral and went to spend the night in Mary. It’s okay, as it turned out. Then decide for yourself: someone cursed and called Coral, they were given a free yacht tour. Someone bought a bath and settled. By the way, the guide Korala Leonid does not solve these problems, we turned to him for insurance at the morning meeting (where we came from Mary))). He sent us to the reception, saying that there we will get the key. And so it happened, in general.
The water slides worked, the pool was cleaned every evening, the water in it, according to stories, is heavily chlorinated. I don’t go to the pool, I go overseas.
From the animation, morning gymnastics in the pool, water polo in the afternoon, children's mini-disco at 21.00, sometimes a primitive show time for adults and every evening trips for 7 dollars to a disco in Alanya. People traveled in large numbers and with pleasure.

I also liked the village of Mahmutlar. From the hotel you go directly to the main street of Barbaross, where there are many shops. The prices are cheaper than in Alanya, the Turkish sellers are not sticky and not arrogant, unlike Alanya and Konaklin, for example. Everything is cultural and calm. Lots of restaurants. Cheap fruits: strawberries - 2 lira (40 rubles) / kg, cherries - 3 - 4.5 lira, melon - 1 lira / kg, peaches, nectarines - 3 lira / kg. There are BIM and CEMPA supermarkets with fixed prices. You can pay in any currency, but change is given in lira. CEMPA is located right next to the hotel, very convenient. On Tuesdays and Saturdays there is a bazaar. There are cheap fruits. I didn’t like it in the rows of clothes: the merchants are arrogant, they break prices, it’s disgusting to bargain. We bought things in shops, where you can also negotiate a discount, only everything is much more cultured.
You can go to Alanya by municipal bus (from morning until 23 o'clock). The fare is 2 liras / 2 dollars / 1 euro and 25 cents per person. It is most profitable to pay in lira (it's about 40 rubles each). It's not a long drive, about 15 minutes to the final stop, this is a bazaar in the city center.
I wish you all a great holiday! Do not pay attention to the little things! Be more cultured, address the locals politely and with a smile! Joke! Don't Hamite! Learn at least a couple of Turkish expressions! And you will be happy! )))
And in My dream beach, if it happens, I will go with pleasure.
