I can’t say that this hotel is worse, food or service, but I’ll dwell on the service. It just doesn't exist. Well, no, there is only its appearance or individual people who did not let us completely spoil the rest. First of all, this is accommodation in the room. We arrived late in the evening, the road from the airport took a little more than an hour, we arrived a little exhausted.

At the reception, we had to wait for a room for at least another hour, the room they gave was in a terrible state, not even sati looking at the possibility of settling in it. As a result, after another hour, they finally settled in a room overlooking the pool on the second floor. The animation team behaved simply inappropriately. The rudeness of some bartenders and waiters in the restaurant. The only hotel staff who smiled at us were the gardeners we met on site and our cleaner. We took great pleasure in tipping him, which he fully deserved. . The room was always clean, he brought as much water as we asked for, replenished coffee and tea, and brought a lot of clean towels, kept the bedding clean, and changed it even more often than asked. Only because of this person I decided to put 3 for the service. The food in the restaurant just doesn't match a 5* hotel. Meat tastes tough and not tasty, salads are completely untrustworthy. Even for breakfast and lunch, the quality of the dishes is not bad, but for dinner, what is not eaten during the day is more likely to be used. There were good fruits, and even sometimes squids, good chicken, but the huge number of birds, and their vital functions, irritated and did not cause appetite at all. As a result of the above about the animators, we did not participate in the general “fun”, and the animation itself was boring. Those who rested with children said that they had nothing to do in the children's room, and the playroom itself was simply not suitable and dirty. We limited ourselves to field trips. I especially recommend Luxor-Dendery, if there is also a banana island, then in general it turns out for a penny for 60 dollars. The ride is very convenient. A small group from our hotel was six people and from another two more people. An excellent guide just wonderful told everything very impressed by the architecture. There is a place where you can look at the fish, snorkel, and just enjoy the sunbathing on the many sunbeds that you could take at any time. The sea is already warm, the weather is also pleasing. The hotel stands as if in a small bay, about which the wind is not strong and it is pleasant to swim. It is also a beautiful area with lots of greenery, palm flowers and other beauty. There are many places, you can walk for hours, but outside there is only desert, the contrast is huge. So if you want to go only because of the sea, then you can choose a hotel. The rest is worth thinking about.

We rested in September 2010. I'm talking about my experience in Tunisia. Of course, the operator added some of the problems to us. But first things first. After purchasing the tour through the site, I received an invoice, which I paid. The tour was purchased without a transfer as it was not offered by the company. Later, a hotel voucher came to the email and information that they do not send tickets and that no tickets are needed for the flight. Fortunately, information about the flight was found on the bill that I paid. Departed and arrived on time at 12-50 local time. We went to the taxi rank, showed the voucher with the address of the hotel to the driver, to which they immediately heard that such addresses do not exist. The voucher was written HOTEL, below ADDRESS, below PHONE, below FAX. Of course, we decided that this phone and fax is the phone and fax of the hotel. Phoned - phone turned off. They called the fax machine - the fax works on the machine. Later, our hotel suggested that perhaps it was the phone and fax of the receiving party.
The driver talked to other taxi drivers and said that he knows our hotel Sun Beach Resort (this name was written on the voucher) and he drove us. After 40 minutes and 30 km of the way, he brought us to another hotel with a similar name. Everything around was so deserted and wild that there was no one to even ask about the right road. I had to go back to the airport, because the drivers near the hotel where he brought us said that, judging by the hotel fax code, this hotel is located in Hammamet, and for this you need to take not a city taxi, but an intercity one. Upon arrival at the hotel, there was a long argument with the taxi driver who took us to the wrong hotel. He demanded 40 euros, connected the police. As a result, they gave him 20 euros and he fell behind.
We got into an intercity taxi, the driver said that the Sun Beach Resort does not exist. Look for another name. Luckily, I took the bill with me, which had the more correct name of the hotel: Caribbean World Sun Beach Resort. Then the driver said that I know Caribbean World - this is a group of hotels in Hammamet and one of them will be called Sun Beach Resort. We tried again to call the hotel phone (as we then thought), which turned out to be a mobile phone and was turned off. I think that during our trip we called there 30 times, and it was always turned off. By the way, the taxis had torn seat belts, no air conditioning, and we were still in warm clothes from Germany, and it was already +30 degrees in the shade. We went to Hammamet (there is 80 km from the airport). We arrived at the Caribbean World Beach Resort - they say there is no reserve for us and their hotel is not Sun, then to another hotel, then to another. And still nothing. As a result, one of the Caribbean World hotels decided to help us - they began to call all the Caribbean World hotels in Tunisia. It turns out there were about 20 of them, and in each Caribbean World there was a hotel with names like Sun Beach Resort. In the end, only thanks to the patience of the woman at the reception, the right hotel was found - they confirmed that we were registered with them. The taxi driver said that we would not be lucky anywhere else until he received a guarantee of payment, since he had already traveled 180 km with us and spent more than one hour, guarantees were given, since intercity taxis were not so easy to find. After another 60 km and an hour of driving on terrible roads with views of the industrial zone and landfills, the right hotel was found. The driver was paid 150 euros (he also gave us a discount, the price of a taxi is about 1 euro per km, and here so much time was lost searching).
We arrived at the hotel at 18-40, i. e. The road from the airport to the hotel took more than 5 hours. The hotel did not want to accept us, because we have vouchers without the necessary information (I don’t know which one, I think because almost everything was written there incorrectly: hotel name, address, phone, fax, etc. ), I I also gave them a bill and only then did they give us the keys and accept us. There was an industrial zone around the hotel, and it was scary to leave its territory. Everything was good in the hotel, a huge territory, of course it doesn’t pull for 4 stars - 10 years ago it might have been 4 stars, but there was a super animation team, a lot of sports, Tunisians are very friendly and speak Russian. We had a great time until the wind changed its direction….
We arrived at the hotel on September 17th, on September 22nd during the evening show there was a terrible stench. It feels like you put your head in a trash can. At first, everyone thought that they were just taking out the garbage, but this stench continued. Everyone ran to the numbers, so an attack of nausea was already setting in. Open the window - you can not - the stench. Close the window - very hot. The air conditioners, although stated in the description of the hotel, did not work, some of the sockets were also broken, the TV also worked strangely - you press “increase the volume”, and it decreases, you press “increase the channel”, and it decreases, and so on. Nevertheless, we decided to close the windows - the heat is better than this horror. This stench passed at about 3 am - I couldn’t sleep, so I know the time for sure, I’m not used to sleeping on the trash can. The wind has changed its direction. This smelly show was repeated on average every other day when the wind changed direction. I managed to find out that there is a poultry farm near the hotel and this smell comes from there, the animators also said that it was always like this at least 2 days a week and they were already used to it. As a result, instead of getting better, we all lost weight - we couldn’t eat with the smell of rotten meat.
There is construction going on near the hotel (still a new hotel or buildings for this hotel), fortunately we were lucky and we lived quite far from this place, but many had windows overlooking this view and the noise did not allow them to sleep during the day when you can’t go out in the sun . I think the construction there has already been going on for a year, and it will still go on for several more years.
The rest was ruined. . . Upon arrival home, my son plays in the hotel, builds buildings out of cubes, a swimming pool, a beach, and builds a large pipe next to the hotel. To the question "what is it? " - answers - this is a pipe that stinks for those who are resting. This is his main impression of the rest.
In addition… The hotel offers all-inclusive tours to almost everyone, what is included is very well described here: http://all-inclusive. narod. ru, but for all-inclusive you can always get tap water, as well as sprite, cola and fanta mixed with the same tap water. In order to get it, you have to stand in line, which moves so slowly, as it always picks up glasses. There are no beach towels, the sunbeds are old and broken, and the whole beach is stuffed with umbrellas (a rusty iron pipe with an iron rim on top and straw on it), which only interfere. There is a water park on the territory, but you have to pay for it (but what about all-inclusive? ), there is archery to shoot or golf to play, but when 2 clubs and two bows for 400 vacationers, consider that this is not. The food at the hotel is good, but on the second day you get tired of eating bony fish and liver and sucking on the bones from turkey and chicken (the fact is that they didn’t give legs or wings, they gave chopped bones with meat leftovers).
Cleaning the room - smearing sand, changing the bed - just refill it (we found out by the presence of sand in the bed - the child brought it, and it lay - the bed did not change! ). Change of towels every day, even when not needed, but it looks like this: in the morning at 9 am they took all the towels, and at 3 pm they brought them back. And the fact that those who get up at 10 in the morning (for example, I sometimes got up like that) or who came from the beach in the sand at 12 o'clock and want to go to dinner after a shower - there is nothing to dry off with. Hanging the “DO NOT DISTURB” tag does not help - they still push you through the room, even if you are standing in your underpants or without them in the bathroom - they still don’t say “sorry” and don’t leave, but they communicate with you as if they should .
All information about the hotel is classified - you won’t know how to use the phone in the room, you won’t find the TV remote, the iron, that you are entitled to a safe, or you won’t find out about the work of restaurants on site and that you are entitled to free dinner in these restaurants and you won't know much more! You will find out all this when you leave the hotel, since there is no information in the room. Even when the dining room is open, you will learn from other vacationers.

Interestingly, I assume the option that my review will be banned, but my opinion is the following: the impression of the country was instantaneous and not positive. The tour operator's mistake, I believe, is not to warn tourists about the outside of the territory on which the hotel is located. And now everything is in order: transfer +5, I can’t say anything bad, the guides are really the coolest and Russian and Russian-speaking.

Further: in St. Petersburg, when buying a tour, we are shown a neat white HOTEL... we arrive: lurid turrets... and the name instead of Sun Beach Resort is Carribean World....the question is WHY? But that's not the worst. Settling, God bless him, as everywhere in such countries (it would be stranger if it were different))). We settle in the ROOM. Well, we, in principle, knew that 4 * both in Turkey and in Tunisia is only a name, BUT the room is almost never cleaned AT ALL, limited to making the bed and curtaining the curtains. The sink is leaking, the bathtub is leaking, the light is on every other time, the telephone wire is torn out, for every claim a march to the reception. The territory is limited by a concrete fence interspersed with sharp glass fragments (in principle, it allows you to feel safe))), there is a wasteland behind the fence... and empty, either settled, or not yet inhabited houses...
And we also learned about Ramadan only on the spot. I think it is not necessary to say that Muslims do not work on this important holiday for them?! ))
In general, it's up to you, gentlemen, tourists. But we didn't like the hotel. And, perhaps, in the near future I will not go to Tunisia anymore. Thanks for attention.

The road to the hotel did not seem long to us, we drove a little less than 2 hours and we were told a very interesting excursion along the way. We were checked into the hotel within 7 minutes. and offered WITHOUT surcharge a larger room and very close to the sea... although there are the farthest rooms at least two minutes from the sea... the room is excellent: bright, large, comfortable.
Now I will tell you about the restaurant. They fed very well. We had an excellent chef. (I'll tell you a secret, the managers from the neighboring Koribian World 5 * hotel went to eat with us because they fed disgustingly). Every day they gave about 5 different types of meat: beef, lamb, turkey , chicken, fish and seafood. . . fed for slaughter. . . very tasty.
Animation is top notch! they didn’t even let you get bored for a second... fun, funny... children were entertained, adults... cool... the beach was always cleaned, there were many free sunbeds, there were few people... and there were no jellyfish! We liked it very much and we will definitely go there again. We advise you to visit this wonderful country and have a good time in Sun beach resort! you will not regret!

I really liked the guide Sabri - cheerful, caring, and generally cool. The guide, who called himself by the Russian name Maxim, conducted a wonderful tour of Tunisia and Carthage. An incendiary show on a pirate ship brought real pleasure to the "experienced sailor"! : D We express our gratitude to Natalie Tour (Kostroma) for consultations when choosing a tour that met all our expectations!! ! SUPER! !

1. close to Tunisia (from 40 to 60 minutes by train. The station is 2 km from the hotel. Travel per person is 800 millimeters, i. e. less than 20 rubles according to ours. By taxi, for example, you will be charged from 20 to 40 dinars on the counter, which is from 400 to 800 rubles for our money);
2.2 Russian-speaking girls work at the reception;
3. animators work at 150%!! ! and do not let you get bored;
4. the room has a hair dryer. (safe deposit box for an additional fee);
5. windsurfing on the beach for free + not expensive a lot of fun: parachute, banana, scooter, horseback riding, camel riding, quads, etc . ;
6. possibility to use the infrastructure of a neighboring hotel: swimming pool, archery, golf, mini-aqua park, etc.
7. the food is good and quite varied (2 types of fish per day are required, meat and chicken) + you can sign up for national restaurants of Italian (I ADVISE), Mexican (I ADVISE), Chinese (DO NOT ADVISE) and Indian (DO NOT ADVISE) cuisine;
8. large and elegant territory of the hotel;
9. next to the hotel is a large wild beach where you can wander or run along the sea in the morning;
10. every day a disco by the pool or in the theater of the neighboring hotel.

I was in this country for the first time from 12 to 26 June 2008. We flew through "BIBLIO-GLOBUS" on "fortune" (4 hotels were offered in different cities and it is not known which one you will get to) and everything turned out well. From the airport to go far about 2.5 hours, but it did not spoil the mood. They placed us within 15 minutes in a wonderful room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and the sea, very beautiful.

From the airport to go far about 2.5 hours, but it did not spoil the mood. They placed us within 15 minutes in a wonderful room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and the sea, very beautiful. On the territory there are 3 hotels Caribbean Sun Beach Resort 4 *, Caribbean World Cedriy 4 *, Lukea Azur Beach 4 * (French hotel) you can move around freely, but eat only in your restaurant. The area is very beautiful and clean, lots of greenery.
Each hotel has its own beach, so you can always find free sunbeds. The sea is clean and very warm. The first 2 days there was a storm and big waves, we had a great swim, swayed on the waves, cool.
The Russian language is tight there, so you need to know at least a little English, and preferably French (everyone speaks it fluently).
But Hosan is there to help the Russians, he is an animation engineer, you can almost always find him at the reception, he lived in Ukraine for 8 years and speaks good Russian, if anything, contact him, he will always help.
About bars: (10-23.00) delicious white wine from drinks, we mostly drank it. Beer disgusting diluted and some sweet. We did not drink stronger drinks. There is also very tasty tea, which is not in bags, but in a teapot. The food in the restaurant is all delicious, the meat is soft, the side dishes are not spicy, the salads are fresh, the sweets are overeating, the fruits are fresh (I have never gorged myself on peaches in my life). There was always enough food even if you come before the closing of the restaurant. From 13-17.00 there is a pizza bar where you can eat salads and quite tasty pizza (the most delicious with sausage).
At the expense of entertainment: the animation is just super, children's animation from morning to evening with children is entertained, they are all happy ........adults are also entertained day and night.
Evening competitions and performances are just class. There is one Mickey Mouse animator, this is something: it feels like he has a battery in one place, he doesn’t sit still at all, well done. As well as everyone else: Marco (animation chief), Pico, Romeo, Coco, Lingo, Mimi, Jeni, Titi, Didi and others. Everything is just super .....well done guys.
In the evening, a disco at the Lukea Azur Beach hotel is free, and drinks for money beer 0.33 costs from 2.5 to 3 dinars (that is, they don’t give change, it’s better to give it without change). The disco is ok, only the music is mostly french because the dj is french, but we still partyed till we dropped. We were told that a disco on the beach should open there, a DJ from Hammamet comes there, there is music for every taste (but unfortunately we did not find it).
At the expense of excursions: we went on a pirate ship, a beautiful pirate ship, sailed on the waves, it was already breathtaking, swimming in the open sea, lunch on the ship, the animators were pirates, we liked it cool.
We were also in Carthage Land, we had a great ride in Hammamat, but there are few attractions. And the coolest slides, like American ones, were closed. But we also visited the wax museum and the Medina (market) where prices are 3 times cheaper than in the hotel shops.
We were also in Tunisia without an excursion (22 km from the hotel, the train goes there costs 1.6 dinars one way, 15 minutes walk to the train), we were in Sidi Bou Said (blue-blue city) it is very beautiful there especially the beach (view from above) .
Without an excursion, we still went to Hammamet (45 km from the hotel, you can negotiate with a taxi driver for 45 dinars round trip, he will be waiting for you there). We were there at the disco, but we didn’t really like it there, there were too many people there, and so we walked in general super.
The only minus of the hotel is its remoteness from the cities, i. e. when you leave the territory, the desert awaits you and the houses of local residents are far away, but at the same time there are a lot of taxi drivers who will take you to any place.
This is probably one of my best vacations, 15 days in Tunisia were just super, there are not even words to express it all. I really want to go there too. I will never forget him.
P. S...On the day of departure (we were picked up from the hotel at 6.30 in the morning), we did not sleep all night, we had our last break, and the road to the airport was just a fairy tale, it was time to sleep. At the airport we were already jaunty.
