Good day, forum users)

This review is not suitable for activists on travel and vacation. This is not even a review, but so... reflections. On the pages of Turpravda, I have repeatedly read the indignant exclamations of neighbors of young children on an airplane and / or on vacation, and the reflections of parents claiming the benefits of the sun-sea for babies. I took mine to the sea, passed from hand to hand. And here I am thinking about it.

It was planned to take the daughter (and therefore the granddaughter) to the sea - relax-s)) We chose a hotel and maintenance service with TA according to the criteria: proximity to the airport (tired after the flight), coastline, children's version of the hotel, sandy beach, eats -But, financial limits on holidays and a visa-free option at the end of September. In Turkey, hotels did not fit - they did not advise because of the large number of people in hotels and inflated prices (true). Europe was not considered. Long distance flights too. So. Tunisia. Suss. Thalassa Sousse 4+* Moreover, the action was on tours from Pegasus.

Departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo) at 13:30. We were a little delayed, there were many children. The Yoyo stroller (foldable from Babyzen), passing through the sites as hand luggage, was not allowed by Nordvin (max - 5 kg, and the stroller is 6.5). They still took the stroller with them (on their shoulders). They didn't feed. Seat selection (three side by side) and food ordered earlier. In flight, they walked between the rows. At the exit, the steward issued migration cards to fill out. We were given one for three. That’s all (. On the bus, experienced people have already begun to fill out. There is information on the Internet, I read everything myself - how to fill in in detail line by line. I couldn’t, because my hands were busy.

Arrival. The difference is -2 hours. In the airbus, we stood near the door, so we entered the terminal hall first. The employee showed me the way. He, as it turned out, was at the border control and asked me for a migration card. He missed his daughter with a child, and I went to fill in for three. The lines didn't move quickly. The employee who sent me waved his hand and I came up without a queue. Thanks to him, as the granddaughter was tired from the flight. There was no time to change the currency.

We got to the hotel quickly - 35-40 minutes. There, again, fill out questionnaires for three. The employee at the reception looked at me, my daughter and granddaughter, thought about it and gave me the key to 167. I gave out coupons for water (a coupon for 1 day). Room on the 2nd floor of a 3-storey building. Windows on a neighboring hotel towards the street. The noise from the hotel was almost non-existent. The room is standard, cleaning every day, there was confusion with towels (this was already indicated in the reviews), but not critical. We took our own towels for the beach, but you can take a deposit. The TV remote control (deposit) was not taken, it works with buttons (the reviews also indicate that there were Russian-language channels, there was no time to watch). They didn’t take the remote control from the air conditioner (deposit), it also worked on the buttons as a cooling fan, it even turned off at night. I took a safe (I didn’t succeed on a deposit), just pay in dinars at 4 per day. Hmm, I asked for 10 days, they refused. They said 6 or 12 days. Curious - just me so lucky or is this the norm? )). Currency exchange is right there, but the exchange after 17.00 is without a certificate. And then you need it for exchange at departure. Of course, there is not enough water - 1.5 liters per room (regardless of the number of vacationers). You can get out of the situation - there are coolers everywhere, the staff did not make any comments about the set in bottles, and bars also work in the hotel. Yes, and you can buy (markets and supermarkets nearby). We did this - bottled - for a child, and ourselves - from coolers.

The beach is sandy, consists of two parts: on the left it is poorly equipped, on the right it is being renovated. The beach bar is being renovated. The entry is gentle. The water is very warm (complete relaxation), clean in the morning (usually), there are fewer people on the beach in the afternoon. The granddaughter went into the sea with pleasure, she was not afraid, she was barely pulled away from the water. Then she just sat on the sand so that the waves rolled over her. I woke up early - at 6 o'clock. After breakfast and swimming on the beach, they were put to bed in the fresh sea air. If you catch a dream, neither the cries of merchants, nor the roll call of dads, moms, children interfered... The child was just sleeping). Jellyfish! They hurt. For the first time, I even drank suprastin. Experienced people recommend wiping the place with a tomato (there are a lot of them in the dining room). I saw small jellyfish, transparent, oh - beautiful))

Food. *sighed. The chairs were for children, but some dirty ones. The child was not placed. There is no children's table on the menu. Generally. Our child ate a little from the common table. She did not like yogurts, spicy or unleavened soups (she also rejected), cheeses also did not pass the control. They took a little couscous (according to mood), pasta, scrambled eggs, pastries, etc. Fruits twice a day (2 items each) - melon, plum, nectarine, watermelon. I took something with me in a container, because in an hour she already wanted to have a snack. I, apparently, have lost the habit of a large cluster of thirsty people in this type of canteen. Lines for food, plates, glasses, spoons. . . for chicken, for fried meat, something. . . I've lost the habit. It was sad to look at the full plates in three hands. And then the waiters waste these piles. They cleared the tables quickly. I do not agree with the criticism of their work in other reviews. I asked for more napkins (“baby, monsieur…”). And they brought napkins, and even went for water. They offered help. The bars took only coffee. So we found out after a couple of days. Juices are very sweet. Honestly, I haven't tried alcohol. Don't relax with a child.

Gorki. This hotel positions itself as a hotel with a water park. There are a lot of people (to be honest, sooooo many). The guide representative of Pegasus immediately warned that not only locals, but also Algerians and Lebanese come for the weekend. They didn't bother us personally. We were interested in a children's pool with slides only as a pool. By evening, there was sand at the bottom of this pool, but then they cleaned it - and again, normal water. Sun loungers around the pool are hard to find. But one can always be found or asked. Around the pool - Arabs.

We went out to the store along our street: on the right is the Monoprix supermarket, on the left is the Big Ben cafe, an Italian ice cream cafe, markets (I don’t remember the name - with elephants). We took a taxi to Carrefour (a good market) and three markets nearby (Slim, Champs and Fifth).

The way home was hard. The rooms were vacated at 12 noon, the bus behind us - at 13. They found us and offered to wrap our suitcases - 1 for 10 dinars. I weighed it on a steelyard)) We were taken to the airport through a store, where badges were issued to those who wished to spend their last dinars so that they would not get lost in a 3-story building. Only a few people got off the bus into the store. At the entrance to the terminal - 4 queues to two frames, three more buses arrived with us. The queue... Wrapping a suitcase at the airport 15 dinars. From the entrance to the airport there are 4 lines at once to the 3rd counters (the numbers of the counters for registering the tale of the guide are still on the bus). I (naively) asked the employee where the check-in desk for youngsters like ours was. He shrugged his shoulders - one line for all. That's the whole concern in the international. Barely survived. Honestly. The man “pushed” us 5 people earlier to the next counter (thanks to him again). Then screening of hand luggage and more control. Again we were let through a little early. At the entrance to the country, I filled out two parts of the migration card at once. The 2nd part was invested in the passport. Upon departure, I noticed that many filled out new cards - either reduced the time when filling out at the beginning, or lost the 2nd part. Be careful). After the final inspection, the “clean zone” met me with a toilet with a mandatory queue (sorry, but in the ladies' version there are three booths. Not enough). Then I already noticed in the deep distance of the hall another pointer to the toilet. Dyutik. And a long line at the cafe. In a country that loves coffee so much, is there only one coffee shop at the airport? A little further I saw another one - a small one, for smokers. But there was coffee) Strange, but dinars, not euros, were written off on the card. On departure was a Boeing 777, in which there are 3 + 4 + 3 seats. Not far from Moscow, the granddaughter fell asleep. The steward approached and asked to transfer the child to an upright position. He has rules, I understand. But the child, awakened at the wrong time, gave a concert. Then turbulence. And ahead of the landing and still the belts of a separate seat.

In general, we sat down (thanks to the crew). Luggage at Sheremetyevo went along two belts) I had to run from one to another while waiting for my suitcases.

So.

  • I wanted to take my people to the sea - I took them out.
  • Meals (soft packs) and panty diapers were taken with them. And rightly so: in supermarkets, what the child was used to was not (we looked at several stores).
  • The presence of children's entertainment (such as a pool, slides, animators and discos . . ) did not compensate for the lack of a children's table in the dining room.
  • Some children of our age (younger or older) sat quietly in prams or dining room chairs. All children are different.
  • Arabs love children. Not even their own. The attitude of total strangers to our girl surprised and pleasantly surprised.
  • I liked the work of Dmitry, the guide from Pegasus. Well said. Although I was in Tunisia not for the first time, I carried away with my story). Excursions did not "push", everything is neat, accessible, correct and emotional. Pleased, honestly.
  • You need to choose hotels that are small, with a children's concept. Must try next year.
  • *After such a rest, rest itself is required. But I do not regret it - my daughter and granddaughter were at sea, the child liked it. And someday I will arrange relaxation for myself).
