Замечательный отельчик! Wonderful hotel!

We rested in this hotel together with a friend from 24.09 to 01.10. 2011 So the impressions are quite fresh. Host – Carthage travel and events. There were no overlays either at the airport or with the transfer, so there were no complaints about them. Guide Irina was present in the hotel lobby every evening for an hour, and she could ask all the questions of interest, book excursions, etc. We were only interested in the sea, the beach, and local clubs, so we didn’t really intersect with the hosts. Hotel. Very nice treshka, quiet, no complaints. Since it was already “out of season” (although the weather was wonderful throughout the week), there were few vacationers, Russians of them - somewhere around 40%. In Russian, of course, no one from the staff speaks, but from what, in fact. There is no territory of its own - only the beach, but the terrace. Well, 2 more pools, but who needs them when there is a sea !! ! Room. Normal, no frills, no hair dryer, telly for money. The staff is friendly and not overbearing. Administrators, of course, warm you up when exchanging money, so for these purposes it is better to go to the bank. Cleaning every day, but mediocre. Towels are changed every day. It does not depend on the presence or absence of a tip. There is no animation - apparently not the season. Once we saw a couple of sad animators, they kind of wanted to do a show, but then they changed their minds. I liked the bartender Mohammed - he is always aware of everything and does not pour especially drunk, although at the same time he suffers a lot of insults in his address. He let us go and several glasses of drinks in one hand, apparently, he thought that we were quite adequate people =). Nutrition. Before that, I was in the Hamammet treshka hotel, and so, compared to that hotel, the food in Royal Beach noticeably loses. But we didn't go to eat! There was always enough for everyone, varied, meat, vegetables, fruits. What else do you need! Alcohol. The beer is normal, however, weak, the wine is nothing. Of the strong ones, they tried only whiskey - not very, to put it mildly, although, compared to the “all-inclusive” whiskey in Egypt, this one is just nectar! Alcoholic drinks until 10pm. Beach. Simply wonderful, but dirty. There is not a single ashtray, and everyone throws cigarette butts right into the sand. Sunbeds ancient soviet, but tolerable. Tip: better lie down away from the coastline, otherwise the sellers and loitering locals will torture you. The sea is gorgeous, warm, with soft waves…. Garbage comes across, true, but where without it. The beach is closed as it gets dark, but if you wish, you can safely go to it through the city beach, which is located nearby. Local. If you are traveling in a female company, or, God forbid, alone, get ready for the fact that there will be no end to the local men. And here you have to be very careful - to be able to competently send off, and try not to offend, otherwise you never know what comes to their mind. Where to go. Literally across the street from the hotel - most of the local clubs. We recommend Vanilla Lounge (from 22.00), Banana and Living (from 24.00). Entrance is free everywhere (probably because September). There is still Bora Bora, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the left along the beach, but we didn’t get into this club, because, again, it’s “out of season” - it closed on September 23 (oh, we almost missed it). The shops. We didn’t even go to Medina - the Medina in Hamammet was enough for me, where at one time they almost tore apart. A very decent place - Ahla Center, next to the same medina - 4-storey store. Lots of souvenirs, and they are much cheaper than in shops around the hotel. I bought an amazing local shampoo - a brown mass in a bottle with the inscription Tfal - for only 1 dinar (20 rubles). Weather. We were very lucky with the weather, I did not even expect that at the end of September it would be so warm! It was cloudy for a couple of days before noon, but we used this time for shopping))) The sea is very warm. Conclusion: the hotel is not recommended for those who come to look for flaws and watch a Russian channel in the room. We all loved it, miss it very much and want to go back there again!
