We rested with the family in early July, captured a little the last days of Ramadan and three holidays after it. The weather was wonderful, the sea is great and the beach is great. We rested with the family in early July, captured a little the last days of Ramadan and three holidays after it. The weather was wonderful, the sea is great and the beach is great. The hotel was chosen on the Internet and reserved independently. The choice fell on this hotel solely because of its location: the sea is across the road, near the Medina, the General store and the train station. station (we traveled by train from Tunisia). Everything was good: the staff is friendly, although they only speak English, French, and, of course, Arabic; we got a room with a sea view; cleaned every day and was very clean; the beach, if you decide to use sun loungers or a plastic table with chairs, and a safe in the room for a small fee. Breakfast is very simple, but quite satisfying: juice, coffee with milk, baguette with butter and jam, muffin/croissant or yogurt. Due to Ramadan, the hotel restaurant opened towards the end of our holiday. We were a little upset that there was no refrigerator in the room and were surprised that the TV showed only one Tunisian channel at once on two programs. There is wi-fi at the reception. In general, this year there were few Europeans, few Russians and many Tunisians. Our beach was dominated by local families, it was noisy but very fun, some women were swimming in hijabs. If you are not afraid of the prospect of grinding out a few English phrases, then this is a good inexpensive option and an interesting new experience of almost complete immersion in Tunisian culture. It should be noted that only wealthy Tunisians can afford to rest in Sousse, and they came to "our" beach in good expensive cars. In addition, we were in the very center of tourist life - horseback riding next to the hotel, trains in El Kantaoui, a lot of cafes, restaurants and boutiques, a little further - Medina and a pirate ship. We were very pleased with our stay and would love to come again.
