Well, first things first… The plane from Boryspil flew in 3 hours to the new airport in Enfidha (Tunisia). Upon arrival, I had to fill out an immigration card in English. Special knowledge in English. no, they coped with the tips of the fellow countrymen who arrived. After picking up our luggage, a Tunisian guide was waiting for us, who, after waiting a bit for the arrivals, pointed to the bus where our permanent guide Polina was already. A sweet, smiling young countrywoman from Kharkov. The trip from the airport to the hotel took about an hour. Moreover, the bus stopped several times to drop tourists off at their hotels. (Hayam Garden is the last on this list).

Were slightly disappointed with the weather in Tunisia. It was raining lightly, and it was cool +21, against those anomalous September +27 on departure from Boryspil. Variants with an administrator like - "maybe we will decide somehow" did not pass. Only at the reception for the full price. There are plenty of vacant rooms, but they refused to relocate. We took a closer look ...The rooms are all exactly the same, the view from the third floor where we got a room, though on the street, but also nothing. Agreed to this one. I draw your attention - the sea view must be indicated in the documents.
Be sure to check with your tour operators. Room locks - electromagnetic cards. Comfortable enough, put it on, opened the door, stuck it into the device on the wall - the electrician in the house works, stuck it out - nothing works. (I will explain, for those who will face for the first time). A couple of times these same cards were demagnetized and refused to open the door. There is nothing to worry about, the receptionist is used to such moments. Feel free to change cards at the administration. Here you need to pay special attention to the balcony castle. There is a sliding plastic door with a regular latch, but you can close this door from the room and from the balcony, and open it only from the room. Guess why I write about it in such detail. Of course, he closed with his wife as soon as he arrived. They didn't want to let cool air in from the street. In principle, they didn’t want to close it, so cover it up. The room is spacious under 18 squares, a square-shaped room. SU combined, there is a hair dryer, there is no usual curtain in the shower. Why not? -so nada (administration response). But this is not uncomfortable. By the way, not all rooms have a shower, they come with a bath, this can be clarified upon check-in. Hair dryer broke on the 3rd day. The electrician came on the 4th. I could not fix it, as well as plainly remove it from the wall. I had to help him. By the way, in vain, because
hair dryer until the end of the holiday, we did not see despite the reminders. A little embarrassed by the lack of a bed cover we are used to. All beds in this hotel are under white sheets and that's it. Nothing - got used to it. On the wall, the LCD TV pleased with two Russian channels. Beds with good quality mattresses. At the window of a pleasant color there are curtains made of dense fabric, 4 wall lamps, there is light on the balcony. On the balcony there is also a table with 2 plastic chairs. Half tile. A small refrigerator, a wardrobe and a safe (the keys to the safe are only on bail), a mirror, a couple of bedside tables, a table, a couple of chairs. Perhaps everything. The number of towels in the bathroom is ok. If you want to change them, just throw them on the floor, the cleaning lady will replace them. There is a nuance with a towel for the beach. The air conditioner unfortunately did not work for heating, although it has such a function. For the first time in a couple of days, it would be useful to us. The administration said that at this time of the year they do not turn on the heating. But after the sun came out and the temperature in the room was all ok. The room as a whole is not bad, brand new, everything is sound, no frills according to the standard hotel type. In the elevator you will see the number 0, this is our first floor, the first will be 2, etc. . ))

The food in the hotel is sufficient. Feelings of hunger did not appear during the rest of the holiday even once. My native Ukrainian cuisine, which I am used to, does not allow me to call it very tasty. Sausages and frankfurters are comparable to our cheapest ones. No pork, of course.
Chicken for lunch and dinner in different forms constantly, fish is not tasty, beef has been there, their cakes and cakes will not leave anyone indifferent, there is a small assortment of fruits.
I will reveal a secret for meat-eaters. The most delicious meat is in the farthest corner from the diagonal entrance. The calculation is that you simply will not get there because of full plates. )) It is not on a common tray, but in something closed like a big duckling, and next to it is always a kitchen worker in order to cut off a piece at your request. There were also languages, and turkey and other meat yummy. Above each dish is a sign with an inscription in English. and Russian. In Russian, you can find an incorrect translation. ) Well, if the inscription “cucumbers turned out” above the gherkins will not be very misleading. Then above the broth the inscription “smelling salt” puzzled me for the first time.

Appetite spoiled of course, but on this account did not bother. After all, he came to rest and not swear. I didn’t like the news that you can’t take food out of the dining area. At the exit from there, the hotel manager met me and said that I couldn’t take the peach that was in my hand into the hotel itself from the dining room. Eat here, you can't go there. And you can't go to the pool either.

There is a cafe by the pool, another one is located facing the sea. Why in the presence of products it did not work, I did not understand.
The one by the pool sometimes makes pancakes, about 3 days, but not every day. There is always water, beer, cola, and UPI drinks in stock. Beer, according to local natives, is the best in Tunisia, but not at all for our taste. In the cafe that works on site at night, the same yupi, cola, sprite and cocktails based on them with local vodka called boo. )) The bodyaga is still there, our vodka is just a heavenly elixir against it. Although you can buy whiskey or rum, but European alcohol is paid. Don't let young wives in skimpy dresses on their own at the Swedish table. Young Tunisians work in the kitchen. From this view, jump out of their pants and weigh all the kamplimans that they have studied in Russian or English. Similar cases happened to mine while I was delayed somewhere. Walking through the streets you will reach the "Medina" - the local market. There you can buy a souvenir home and bargain to feel the whole flavor of the local population. Traders call all men Rambo, and young girls Shakira. They are probably local heroes and this is how they show their compliments. Although most likely just joking. )) Be sure to bargain. The original price often drops several times to the selling price. Never buy gold on the market. They tried to sell us a bracelet in Hammamet, passing it off as a gold one, and this is in a large store, though in their market, Medina. All merchants have the same conversation.
Wonderful place right on the seafront. A little bit green. Work is underway to further repair the buildings, this does not interfere. But the spa building, tennis courts and the Italian restaurant are not working yet. At a time when the sea is not calm, I do not advise you to enter it directly in front of the hotel. In the water there are huge unpolished edges of either a reef or stones. But it's easy to hurt your leg. To the right of the hotel's beach, about a hundred meters, there is a sandy entry into the sea. It’s better there, though this is no longer the territory of the hotel and the guard will not look after your things. Also on the territory of Hayam Garden there are two pools divided in half. One with falling waterfalls and one with high slides of 4 floors. The slides were constantly empty, but it personally gave me great pleasure to slide down from such a height. In general, the impressions from the rest in this hotel are good. Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely yes. Would come again, probably not.
