I am a very picky eater! and picky about everything! : ) Rest abroad is not the first time. I think that comparing Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt with European hotels is not worth it at all! this is a pointless exercise.
We were on vacation in 2009 at the end of June for 12 days, I, my husband and son, 3 years old, took half board . . I want to note right away! You have to take all-inclusive there! With a child, you can go safely, the climate is excellent, the food is varied. We arrived before check-in, were greeted with smiles, settled in 15 minutes, in a room with a sea view. Everything was fine and clean. I’ve been reading about ants now . . I’ve never seen it! =) The staff is pleasant, the attitude is good, but they really treat Germans and Poles even better . . they just dance in front of them =) Every day the waiter brought me a bunch of jasmine for dinner, and my son chupa- Chups =) Minus! They don't speak Russian at all! Only a couple of people in the hotel and a guide, but bad. Not everyone speaks English, but everyone knows French. The sea is very clean, the sand is white, the beach is very clean! Sun loungers for a fee . . I repeat . . take "all inclusive". Next. . . the animation is very good! ! boys are great! Active and smiling! ) Actively campaigning for everyone =) Cleaning in the room . . for 12 days they changed the linen only 2 times, towels every day, the floors were washed every other day. If you don't put up a sign, you can enter without knocking! The food is good, fish and meat of several types, potatoes of 2-3 types, pasta, salads and vegetables, fresh soups, not really, ice cream, sweets, delicious watermelons, enough fruits, cereals, coffee, milk, juices... there is enough choice and that's it tasty.
There are buses to the city, a stop at the hotel, we traveled by bus and taxi (cheap). Monastir is clean and pleasant. . Sousse is a dirty city! Too many people and not so clean. In shops you can buy souvenirs, eat, and camel leather bags for a penny.
