We decided to fly to Tunisia, because Egypt and Turkey were a little fed up. I always rest on special offers, and this hotel had just such (8 days on half board cost 20 thousand rubles, of which 5 thousand was a fuel surcharge).
I was surprised by the airport - it is so small compared to Domodedovo, Vnukovo, as well as the airports of Turkey and Egypt, which was very surprising. But, after all, the country is small - there are not many resorts, so the airport is appropriate. I was pleased that a visa is not needed at all, you do not need to pay either 15 or 20 dollars for entry.
Skanes El Hana is located 10 minutes from the airport, 11 km from Sousse, 10 km from Monastir.
The hotel used to be one of the best in the country, but was not renovated for a long time - the sofas at the reception are old, the air conditioner is central, also old, but this did not bother us a bit. Rooms are clean but decorated in traditional style.

There is no Russian channel on TV (I watched Euronews, Eurosport and some music channel).
What else surprised us - for "all inclusive" and "board" with "half board" separate restaurants. The food is quite edible and the choice is not inferior to 4 * in the same Turkey. Ice cream can be eaten for dinner as much as you like. Always 3-5 types of meat, 3-4 types of side dishes, as well as french fries, melon, watermelon, plum.
Drinks are not included. We did not buy them in a restaurant, but bought them in the city.
Service at the hotel is good - left a tip of 1 dinar per day - bed linen and towels changed every day.
The pool is old and has defects, it is very deep (up to 3 m), but the minimum depth is 120, there are 2 children's pools - 90 and 40 cm.
Private beach in public area. The sand is perfect - fine and golden white. The entrance to the sea, even with a big wave of the sea, will not be painful for the legs.
For those who travel to this hotel and to Tunisia in general, I recommend learning English or French, since there are few tourists from Russia here - only a few understand our language (often I had to help people to clarify with the hotel staff).
So that you don’t have any problems, be sure to take the key to the safe (the safe at the reception is on bail, which is returned at the end of the holiday for the key). The TV remote control is also bail (you can use it without a remote control).
The country itself is very interesting, since there is more left of the Arayan world in it than in Egypt, etc.
From the hotel you can easily go to Sousse and Monastir. We traveled by city bus (travel per person is less than 1 dinar).
In Tunisia, almost all hotels are old, so Skanes El Hana looks quite respectable among them, 4 * is an objective assessment.
I note that I have been abroad 4 times and always in high-level hotels, so I can assure you that a vacation in Tunisia will be very interesting, and the Skanes El Hana hotel is an ideal place for a comfortable, but at the same time economical vacation.
