I chose this hotel to be closer to the sea, because it is the first line, because there was a water park on the territory. The TV worked, the furniture was not new, but normal, I did not see the air conditioner, but I did not need it in September. The food is very good, top notch. The only fruit, I saw only watermelons. The territory is clean, well-groomed, beautiful, everywhere greenery, flowers, bushes; on the territory - playground, swimming pool. In the dining room, I did not like that the tablecloths were dirty and there were not always enough dishes, sometimes I had to wait for cutlery. There were never napkins on the table when I asked - they brought.

It is not the first time we have a rest abroad, we have been to different countries, hotels. Last year we rested in Mahdia in a good 3-star hotel. But such a nightmare as in Helya was seen for the first time.
Rested from 14 to 25 July together with a friend. Tour operator - Grand Express. Airline Nouvelair. Flight to Tunisia was delayed for an hour, flew back on time. During the flight they were fed breakfast.
We arrived at the hotel at 9 am. Check-in at 14.00. We asked at the reception if it was possible to somehow speed up, they said that there was no way. We changed clothes, walked around the territory and went to the SPA, where we had a great time until lunch: full body peeling, hammam, body wrap, massage, jacuzzi, face mask. Perhaps this is the most pleasant memory of this hotel. Thanks to Maxim and all the staff of this SPA center!
ABOUT THE HOTEL AND ROOM
After dinner, we were given a room on the 3rd (4th) floor (it is numbered differently in different elevators) with a view of the neighboring hotel, the sea, the airport (does not interfere). The room is good, after renovation. They didn't pay money. The room has 2 double beds, sofa, TV, separate bathroom. Refrigerator, hair dryer, TV remote. There is a table and 2 chairs on the balcony, we regretted that we did not take a rope and clothespins, it would be more convenient to dry clothes. The room is cleaned every day, towels and linen were changed only 1 time in 12 days. Everything worked in the room, except for the sconce over one of the beds (more on that later). The air conditioner cools only at night, until 5 am, then it just buzzes. Nothing was missing from our room.
The hotel lobbies are dirty, the carpet in the corridor has never been vacuumed, there are always mountains of dirty dishes with the appropriate aroma in the morning near the elevator. The elevator in our wing didn't work at all for several days. Vacationers told how they got stuck in it, then it was turned off altogether. On some days in the morning, a terrible smell of sewerage was carried throughout the hotel. WI-FI only at the reception, there are always vacationers with phones right at the counter. We did not use it, we bought SIM cards in the hotel store for 2.5 GB - we personally had enough.
NUTRITION
Personally, we had no complaints about the quality of food. The truth of the fruit is only watermelon or melon. But the DINING ROOM itself (well, you can’t call it a restaurant) - this is horror !! ! Dirt is everywhere, from tables and chairs to dishes that seem to just be rinsed with cold water. Have you ever seen paper cups in a hotel restaurant? The most interesting thing is that even at the beginning of breakfast at 7 am the tables are dirty. There were not always enough tables, sometimes, like in McDonald's, you had to stand with plates in your hands and wait for people to finish eating. When to come is also a question... You come for breakfast at 7 in the morning - you stand for half an hour and wait until they start cooking scrambled eggs and donuts, you come at 9 in the morning - there is almost nothing. There are always not enough cups, glasses, napkins are also a luxury for this hotel (once an employee stood and gave out 1 piece in hand). On the last day of our stay, scrambled eggs began to be given out 1 in hand, i. e. For 10-20 minutes you stand with the whole family for scrambled eggs, then the same amount for donuts, and, if you're lucky, you stand and wait for a cup or a glass. Be prepared to be left without lunch if you come to the dining room later than 14.00. We arrived from the tour at 14.05 - everything except the bread had already been removed. Snack on the street at 16.00 - 2 slices of pizza in hand, a napkin instead of a plate (see photo).
BEACH
Be prepared to get up at 5 in the morning, because at 6 there are no more mattresses and free umbrellas. Traders walk along the beach, but they do not fit the sunbeds. The whole day they drive a camel back and forth and periodically ride horses - the ambergris is appropriate. On weekends it's full of locals without bracelets. For them, employees take sunbeds, which are not enough. Once they observed how a vacationer took a mattress from a free sunbed, a security guard immediately ran up and took it away from her. There is no toilet on the beach, you need to run to the building.
SWIMMING POOL
We never went to the pool, so I won’t say anything, but the sunbeds by the pool were impressive - sagging, torn (see photo). The pool bar was also rare. We saw how glasses are washed - just rinsed under a tap with cold water. Many vacationers went with their glasses.
ANIMATION
We do not go to the evening animation, we also do not go to the pool, so we saw the animation 1 time. On July 20, the owner or some inspectors apparently came to the hotel, and on that day miracles worked at the hotel)) In the morning, animation was carried out on the beach, clean tablecloths and clean dishes appeared in the dining room, something was fried on a barbecue near the beach. Unfortunately, all this lasted only 1 day ((We were shocked when on the beach, inviting to gymnastics, one animator said to a mother with 2 small children who refused to go with him: "We came to eat, drink. Squishy Basin! " On the last day of our stay, the animators apparently found out why they were standing at the door of the restaurant before dinner and for the first time invited to the evening animation. The stand with information about the animation is not filled.
EXCURSIONS
We only went to Phrygia Zoo, we took a tour from a guide. We liked. In Sousse (20 minutes) and Monastir (2 stops) we went by metro, which is located across the street from the hotel. I'll attach the timetable, in case anyone needs it. But keep in mind that trains do not always arrive on schedule, sometimes you have to wait.
STAFF
The staff is the biggest minus of the hotel! No one speaks Russian at the reception. So praised in previous reviews, the Russian-speaking Oksana is a woman with an eternally angry, displeased face. We contacted her 3 times, nothing but rudeness was heard from her. I already wrote about the rudeness of the animator. The employee on the beach believes that if he is culturally answered and, due to his upbringing, is not sent, when he pesters him every day with his conversations, then they are ready to go with him somewhere in the evening, he also asks how many "rendezvous with the staff" we had. Moreover, we tried in every possible way to show that his communication bothers us, but it is useless, for good he does not understand. Once, a fight between a guard and a merchant was observed on the beach. There was also a fight in the dining room at dinner, but they did not see who was fighting with whom. As I wrote in the room in one of the sconces, the light bulb was unscrewed. For 6 days we approached the reception and Oksana with a request to fix the lamp. Reactions - zero. Until they themselves met an electrician in the corridor and asked him to come into our room and screw in this lamp already.
In general, if you are ready for queues, dirt and rudeness of the staff - WELCOME!

The hotel was chosen on a last-minute tour, they wanted to see a new country.
I'll start with the pros:
Wonderful large well-groomed territory of the hotel, all in greenery and flowers! The hotel building looks good from the outside. Magical clean sea, sandy beach, clean enough, cleaned every morning. The beach has 24/7 security. There are 4 pools, slides for the little ones and for adults. Animation works perfectly, from 10 am to 12 am. There is something to do for children and adults. It will not be boring. The food was varied and catered for all tastes. You could choose, you won't leave hungry. Meat and fish have always been. The pastries and sweets are just amazing.
And now for the disadvantages:
Let's start with the number.
Bed linen and towels are grey. The room was not cleaned, only garbage was removed and there was toilet paper. The bathroom is separate, the air conditioner worked poorly. It seems that they saved money and did not run at full capacity.
Beach and pools:
Umbrellas, sunbeds and mattresses are not enough if the hotel has a lot of vacationers. On the beach, sun loungers need to be borrowed almost from 5 o'clock in the morning.
Well, now the most annoying thing.
Canteen and bars:
The dining room is not designed for a large number of tourists.
There are always not enough places, especially if the Arabs have a lot of rest.
The dishes were not washed, they washed themselves with napkins, the tablecloths on the tables were dirty, there was not always enough cutlery, you had to wait until they brought it.
I really want the hotel management to take into account the comments. And then the star will return to the star rating of the hotel. The hotel used to be 4 stars, now it's 3 stars.
And in conclusion, I want to thank our guide with Join Up Anastasia for her attention and help in all matters of interest to us. As well as the guide Sabri for an exciting and interesting tour.

I don’t want to remember, but I’ll leave a review anyway!
The most pleasant memory of this vacation is the flight and transfer.
We arrived at the hotel, settled immediately, but for $ 10 (I myself suggested that I didn’t want to wait until 14:00 for the settlement - 8 hours). They didn’t even offer to bring the suitcases, where the elevator was not prompted, the attendant pretended that he didn’t understand English, although later we spoke to him in English, he understands everything! Okay, on the 4th floor on foot with a child, the suitcases were wounded. Room overlooking the sea on the left and the airport in front. It was very beautiful, the sea on the left, in front of us the night lights of the airport. Planes did not interfere at all, although we slept at night with the balcony door open (or maybe it's because my childhood was spent near the airport)))
Wi-Fi - one name, even the network does not catch. Buy a local operator card from your guide, enough for a week - viber-whatsapp calls, facebook, instagram are not limited.
The room is not bad, everything worked, the plumbing is ok, the air conditioner is old, but it cooled well, the mattress is like new (did not check, but without deflections), the bed linen is clean, it is 100 years old at lunchtime, just yellow. And they did the last shift - everything is stained! Although every other day I left 1 dollar for cleaning (1 dinar is enough there). Cleaning daily, change of towels and linen daily.
Dining - to say the restaurant does not turn the tongue. The tablecloths are not dirty, they are VERY DIRTY!! ! They don't even try to remove them! I wanted to eat standing up! The plates are dirty (we wiped them with napkins, cutlery with food leftovers. Often you had to wait for a plate and a fork-knife for 15 minutes while the waiters walked, collected from the tables, washed, and then brought them “clean”. Yes, don’t count on a snack bar, there is only a hill of croissants from breakfast and that is limited. Do not be shy, take food from the canteen, otherwise from 12:30 to 18:30 (dinner) you will be hungry. And in the bar you can be stupidly ignored, pretending that they do not understand that you I saw a woman asking for a glass of wine - he doesn't understand "wine", he doesn't understand "wine" either, and then turned his back on her altogether.
Hotel in the tourist area, i. e. there is no establishment nearby where you can eat except at the hotel - no restaurants, no cafes, no just a market-market.
The food is sooo scarce and spicy. Rest mainly Europeans, but they do not care. I have the impression that I came back with anemia. Fruit was given only for dinner, and then so little that they often did not have time. Watermelon, melon, peaches - everything!
The territory is beautiful, more well-groomed than not.
Swimming pools - DO NOT SWIM IN THEM!!! ! Before my eyes, at 6:30 in the morning, when I was walking to the beach, a hotel worker poured a bucket of bleach into the pool!! ! Half an hour later, children were already splashing around. As a doctor, I felt bad looking at this! Do I need to say that neither I nor my daughter went to the pools and slides? )
The beach is its own, the first line, the sand is not cleaned, if it storms and causes algae - do not expect them to be quickly removed. Umbrellas are old, dust is pouring from them (free of charge). The sunbeds are old, cracked (free of charge). Beach towels - deposit 10 dinars per one at the reception. Fruits are sold along the beach - take it boldly, just bargain. Yes, more expensive than in the Medina or in the market, but they were brought to you right on the beach! If there is a desire - the city is not far away, you can go and buy. BUT! There are NO refrigerators in the rooms! More precisely, they are, I myself saw - they are piled up in a back room.
Safe - reception, 30 dinars deposit for the key, 3 dinars use per day.
Hair dryer - deposit.
TV remote - deposit.
Excursions - take it boldly, especially if the guide is Shakid (he speaks excellent Russian, tells very interestingly).
Monastir is a beautiful town, go boldly.
Sousse is a dump (forgive the locals, but how can you live there??? ), we spent half a day there and not a single photo! There was just nowhere to do it. Also accidentally went to their local beach - do not do this, do not leave the tourist center! We really (two women with a child) became scared, like they got into the black quarter of New York (((We fled from there at full speed.
And most importantly, locals and Algerians come for the weekend. The hotel is turning into Shanghai in the worst sense of the word. Screaming mothers, ill-mannered children who can just pick up and throw sand at you (I saw this, a very unpleasant picture). They built entire gypsy camps there - an umbrella on an umbrella, tables with food and drink, on each other's heads, in short, goodbye peace.
The sea is the only thing that left a pleasant impression (what a human hand has not touched) - straight white in the morning, azure in the afternoon, and just blue in the evening! Absolutely beautiful, clean. Although, after the invasion of the Arabs, wet wipes and plastic glasses were also met.
SPA in the hotel - great guys work. Got a lot of fun! I met the owner (Maxim in ours) - it turned out to be my colleague, a dermatologist. SPA recommend, really relax!
If you decide to go, turn on the "Polyanna syndrome", as I call it) Look for the pluses and enjoy the sea.
In conclusion - do not believe if they prove that a 4 * hotel is a very weak three! I wouldn't even give a three. I don’t understand how I could believe and go here. And I am by no means a snob and there is no crown on my head! But such blatant disrespect for the tourist (sorry, they make money on us) I have never seen anywhere!
Thank God that on the 4th day he sent me a girl with whom we met and spent the rest of the vacation - we went to Sousse together and spent fasting evenings by the sea.

Wonderful large well-groomed territory of the hotel, all in greenery and flowers! If we compare the three in Turkey and this one, then this is heaven and earth, in Turkey there is no territory as such in the three!
Magical clear sea. Closer to dinner, it begins to shimmer with beautiful shades of turquoise (I have never seen anything like this before!! ) A great place for families with children, since the sea is far shallow. Sandy beach, quite clean. I personally saw how they clean it with a rake in the morning, of course, it would be better with a seeder machine, but... )) There are enough sunbeds and mattresses, but there is not enough shade from umbrellas (some of them are small).
Excellent food, I liked it. There was always meat for lunch and dinner: beef and turkey, as well as at least two types of fish. They baked very tasty pizza, gave ice cream for lunch, watermelon and melon every day. Very tasty pilaf, stewed vegetables, and grilled vegetables are delicious)) There was enough of everything, they quickly brought it up if it ended. And despite the huge number of people (the hotel was full), there was never such a thing. to miss some of the dishes. We once came 10 minutes before the end of breakfast, there was no yogurt, I asked and immediately brought it))
Very close to the airport, across the road, convenient that you do not need to take a long bus ride after the flight. We went to the airport to change dollars, where the exchange rate was higher than at the hotel. Near the city of Monastir (10 minutes by bus or metro). The price is 0.55 dinars (1 dollar - 2.87 dinars). I liked the town, you can take a walk: we were in the mausoleum, the fortress, on the embankment and went to the market. Buy fruits only in Monastir (we bought in the General and Monoprix markets), since the difference in price with the merchants on the beach is almost 10 times!!! ! On the beach, grapes are 20-25 dinars, in the market 3.29 dinars kg)) Fig peaches are very tasty, small ones generally bought for 1.7 dinars, large ones for 2.5 dinars))
Now the cons. . .
I’ll start with the smell, we were greeted by this terrible smell even at the gangway of the plane (I assume that there is a dump somewhere nearby, and if the wind is from land, then it’s not even audible on the beach. Although some people I talked to said they didn’t hear anything)) this stink Lasted for a day, then disappeared
We (three adults) were placed in a double room and a cot was delivered. It was not possible to achieve a normal number, for all one answer - "tomorrow madam" (nerves were more expensive and enjoyed the sea). Everything is fine in the room, the bathroom is separate, the air conditioner worked, at night it is possible without it, with an open balcony. In general, the evenings were quite comfortable, it was not hot, after 18:00 you can safely sunbathe without umbrellas. And you can stay at the sea as long as you want (the beach does not close, unlike Egypt), the attendants are on the beach even late at night, the patrol goes every day. Cleaning every day (but it’s hard to call it cleaning, it seems to me that the floor was not washed)) the technician does not understand Russian and English : / Towels were changed every day, the garbage was taken out and sprinkled with flavoring)))
The linen is old and the towels are just gray, it's time to change the mattress.
In the dining room, the dishes were not washed (this was very indignant, I washed it myself with napkins (((and the tablecloths were lucky, there weren’t always enough cutlery for lunch, you had to wait until they brought it in the same way and you had to wait for the table like in McDonald’s))) Machine with cola-fanta one, the line is huge. . .
The attitude of the staff is disgusting, especially at the bar !! ! they pretend that they don’t understand and that you are not there, first of all they serve the locals. You need to be just as brazen to them, I did it badly.
A lot of locals came for the weekend and for the evening, they were not allowed on our beach (well, except for those who lived in our hotel), but there is a distance of 10 meters between the beaches of the hotels - that's where they were located, and ran across the beach in crowds, in the evening after 20:00 they frolicked a lot, sang, danced. It was a little uncomfortable, but everything is fine)
The Internet - you can say it is not there)))) but this is probably more a plus for me)) the main thing was to call my relatives once a day, that's enough.
That's all) It's up to you to decide what will outweigh the pros or cons more. I know for sure that this sea will be remembered with admiration for a long time, everything else will be forgotten))

We arrived at the hotel at 6 am. I was pleasantly surprised that we were seated immediately! Unlike Egypt. True, they asked for 10&. But we still didn’t understand whether it was for speed or it was the tax for staying in Tunisia (then we didn’t pay this tax to anyone). The room came with a perfect sea view. You lie in bed and you can see the turquoise color of the water! This made me very happy. The rest of the room is rather weak: no hair dryer, refrigerator, remote control, beach. towels - on deposit. Conder works very poorly. Sheets are grey. Plumbing in good condition. Cleaned up every day. Soap was always provided.
Meals: cooked delicious, soups are not spicy as in Turkey. There are no lines for food. The guys try to clean the dishes, many make compliments (bring flowers to the table, drinks... ). In the morning scrambled eggs, croissants, yogurts... Lunch, dinner - meat: lamb, chicken, turkey, beef; a fish; not many salads; delicious pasta, couscous; fruits - watermelons, melons, sometimes nectarine, orange. We went to the market, bought seafood and asked the chefs to cook (for 5 dinars).
There is an airport near the hotel. Strangely, there is no noise at all. Near the city of Monastir. We went by taxi for 2&. We watched the Ribat, the Mausoleum. . .
Beach. Not big, but for some reason there were always enough sunbeds. Security was always on the alert, strangers were not allowed in, even at night they kept order. For kids, this is the perfect place.
The territory of the hotel is large, I would say better than in the pictures shown.
I don’t understand people who walked around in torn shorts with sour faces. Guys, the problem is easily solved! )) Buy 5 * and get out there ****. )) And here, at its level, everything is very worthy.

The hotel was at 11 with a penny (4-something hours of summer, but minus 2 hours time difference in Tunisia). We waited literally half an hour at the reception and we were settled. The hotel is now a third full, I wanted to change the room, but changed my mind - just one had an old TV (but big), and the other had a plasma, but badly tuned. Decided to let the old be. Channel from Russian - TNT. We were ready to exchange the room without any problems and surcharges. Great in all matters helps Oksana at the reception. Thanks her! Any information, help - no problem. The room is generally ok, no frills, but everything is clean. Immediately after checking in - at 12.30 we went for lunch, which was a pleasant surprise (after Turkey in July, where there was no meat at all) - no, everything is fine here - meat, chicken - they always say there was fish - but I haven’t tried it. And in general, there is something to eat, normally, I was not hungry. Dinner is ok too. The surprise came in the morning when I came for breakfast - there really is nothing to eat here! Three types of identical buns, cereal, lentils, rice porridge, pieces of butter. Everything. Saved the omelets. Eat 2 pieces - normal. Fry directly on the heating element without a frying pan. But again, unlike Turkey, where I spent 2 packs of antidiarrheal drugs in 10 days, there was not even close to any disorder. In general, in terms of nutrition - good. The hotel has 4 pools, including a paddling pool, at the farthest one there are slides, sometimes they turn on water in them (in slides, not in pools). In the pools, the water is normal, they clean it all the time. And finally, the beach! The beach is small, very cozy, free movement along the entire coastline (I went far along the water's edge), white sand, beauty! The only thing was that there was a storm on the eve of my arrival - there was a lot of garbage on the beach, but the guys are trying, they clean it up slowly. What else? The animation is weak, there seem to be a lot of guys, but I can only mention one - Iskander, in my opinion, who dances, he and our guy from Vologda, Mikhail, in my opinion, they arranged such dance battles for 2 evenings in a row - I haven’t seen this on TV, super simply! What else to say - alcohol is terrible, vodka is 10 degrees, muck is rare, bring it with you, you can drink beer, but in my opinion it is non-alcoholic. We went to Monastir - on the train next to the hotel stop. You immediately get to the market, bought 2 T-shirts for 15 dinars each (7 dollars) - high-quality, as a gift a leather cigarette case. ) Alcohol was not found there either, no, it was, but it was sold underground underground - they did not dare to take it. So like - everything. Picked up on time, takeoff and landing according to schedule. ) Good hotel, I liked the trip, it's a pity that I didn't get to Sousse. But - next time.

Arrived from vacation 09/30/2013 - I want to share a little, maybe my review will help someone. I will say the following about the hotel - perhaps it was restored, according to the description on the sites, not so long ago, but 4 stars have worked their time The rooms are modest, they are cleaned "modestly" - swept, the towels were changed, but no detergents were added, it's good that they went with their own. … More ▾ Arrived from vacation 09/30/2013 - I want to share a little, maybe my review will help someone. I will say the following about the hotel - perhaps it was restored, according to the description on the sites, not so long ago, but 4 stars have worked their time The rooms are modest, they are cleaned "modestly" - swept, the towels were changed, but no detergents were added, it's good that they went with their own. At the same time, they always left money for cleaning. when we asked to iron a T-shirt, and the iron was also asked, they say, themselves, but... it seems that she understood and left . . - a day passed, the T-shirt returned, here. In the hall, where people often gathered in the evenings, to drink something , to chat, the furniture was worn out and outdated, there were problems with glasses, especially in their shortage, because plastic cups in a 4-star hotel, you understand? ! (The Internet worked intermittently, sometimes it didn’t work at all. )
The food - on the first day everything seemed not very tasty, and something even very specific. Seasoned . . , but on the second day they began to get used to it, some of the food became a favorite. On the sites about this hotel and in the travel agent, they gave information that dinner is until 22.00, this is not so, because having lingered on a walk, having entered a restaurant at 2-3 minutes to 21.00, there was nothing to eat in front of us and the last trays of food were taken right from under our noses - it was unpleasant, because they were talking that they don’t have dinner until 22.00, but until 21.00, some of our company were generally hungry. Since we didn’t sit still and went to the cities in the afternoon, it was really convenient to get to Sousse and Monastir, 50 meters from the hotel there is a stop of a high-speed train in one direction. 20-25 minutes, in another 7-9 minutes (very convenient) ago we bargained with taxi drivers, since their conditional "metro" works until 19.00 or something . . ? ! Of course, there are many hotels that are directly located in the cities themselves, then this question is not worth it at all. The beach is excellent th!!! ! PLEASED!! ! a lot of places, the sea is clean, cool, the sand is white, the water is clear, there are always enough sunbeds, minus the small towels that were given to the beach, they have become obsolete already . . and for a long time . . ; -)

For me, this is really very important. Who was in the summer of 2013 in this hotel, or those who go there, I have a request to you. We need any data of one of the animators. He is so curly, short, with a rough voice, brown eyes. In the evenings, he is mostly dressed in black pants and black and purple sneakers, and of course, their pink animation t-shirt. I ask you, any information (name, surname, phone, facebook, skype), anything, it is important for me!
