I want to share my impressions about the rest in the Palm Inn department. So, I rested in this hotel from 08/05/2007 to 08/16/2007 on the All inclusive system with my sister.
Day 1: The flight from Moscow to Monastir went perfectly, there were no delays at the Monastir airport, we quickly passed through passport control, got our luggage and we were sent by bus to the hotel. About the hotel: the hotel is not new, 3-storey.
We arrived at the hotel around 13.30, we were offered to go to dinner, so we went. The restaurant resembled a Soviet canteen, we were shown to our table and asked to sit down. I was horrified - there were no cutlery on the table, wine stains on the tablecloth, we asked the waiter to replace the tablecloth, to which he simply turned it over to the other side with a slight movement of his hand. I got sick immediately and the mood deteriorated completely. After the so-called dinner, we returned to the lobby and the receptionist asked me to come and get the keys to the room. Having received the keys, we followed the porter to our room (as it turned out later that it was not the porter, but the chief of animation Gaston - why he carries the suitcases is not clear). We were taken along some corridors to some catacombs, and when we saw our room, we immediately wanted to go home to Moscow.

The room was adjacent, there were two charming girls in the next room (later we became very friends with them), everything in the room was made of stone: a countertop, a bed; the toilet did not work, there was no balcony as such, there was just an area where there was a table and two chairs. The view from the room was on the wall of the neighboring hotel. We are completely out, together with the girls-neighbors, went to the reception to ask for other rooms. The receptionist kindly listened to us and said that there were no rooms yet and asked to come the next day. Our first day of stay at the hotel ended as follows - we went to the sea, for dinner and for animation.
Day 2: By 13.00 our guide Zuhair (Capital Tour) came to the hotel, he was a very nice person, he listened to all our complaints and solved them very quickly. We were immediately given two double rooms on the 2nd floor. Life began to improve.
The hotel does not speak Russian at all, only “How are you. Good". Each hotel employee considers it his duty to ask you “How are you doing 150 times a day. Well, on the 3rd day of my stay, I was ready to kill anyone who would ask me this question. The hotel staff speaks English, French, German and Arabic. We didn't have any communication problems. more or less know English. Our compatriots who were leaving that day kindly shared information: you need to leave a tip to the waiter (then the tablecloth will be clean and cutlery in place), the cleaning lady (towels will always be in place and cosmetics will not disappear). The tip is 1 dinar. Be sure to take an individual safe, which is located at the reception (the cost is 1.5 dinars per day), why is it individual, because if you take a common safe (for 4 people), then no one guarantees the safety of your valuables (there were cases when money was lost and gold). We had an individual safe - everything was safe (passports, tickets, money). Keep your mobile phone in a safe too. If you leave money in the room in a conspicuous place, the cleaning lady will take it as a tip and take it for herself. The hotel has excellent animation - from 21.00 for children, from 22.00 for adults. Every evening there were some performances - a national evening, a fakirs show, a drag show, a karaoke show, etc. The disco started at 23.00. From 23.00 the All-inclusive system did not work - all drinks are paid.
At the expense of excursions: we went to Suss, Monastir, the White and Blue City, Carthage - interesting, I really wanted to go to the Sahara, but the cost of the tour was about $ 200 per person. There are very few Russians in the hotel, mostly Germans, Poles, Dutch. The only thing that left an unpleasant aftertaste is how some of our compatriots behave. For several days we tried to convince the hotel staff that not all Russian women drink vodka (as soon as they found out that we were from Russia, it immediately started “Ah, Russian drink vodka”), in the end we managed to get Tunisian heads into their heads, that not all Russians drink. But one fine day a lady from Russia arrived and on the very first evening she proved that Russians drink and how, behaved disgustingly, harassed all the animators indiscriminately, in the end she was taken away in an unknown direction, t. to. she couldn't walk on her own.

General information:
the territory of the hotel is very green (many palm trees, shrubs, there are Christmas trees), 3 pools - deep (2-2.5 m), a children's "paddling pool" and a pool with different depths, the only thing is difficult to take sun loungers around the pool, they are always busy, between the pools there is a bar (open from 10.00), during the day there are all sorts of entertainment - aqua aerobics (led by a charming animator), water polo, volleyball, etc.
sea - the sea is warm, but not very clean (algae) and very shallow (you can walk to the buoys), one day it rained heavily, the next day there were a lot of jellyfish (if you got a burn from a jellyfish, rub the burn with a fresh tomato, Pain will be gone in 15 minutes.
I don’t know why, but the impression of the rest is EXCELLENT !! !
