Rested with his wife from 10/08/2011 to 10/16/2011. Before the trip, they chose a resort and a hotel for a long time, but in the end they settled on Mahdia, and they did not lose! the trip was in October, there was a risk of not guessing with the weather, but as a result, the weather did not disappoint, and the hotel turned out to be wonderful. Now everything is in order: we flew from the newstravel company (service at the level), upon arrival at the Enfidha airport we were met by a representative. The transfer to the hotel was individual, we were driven by Toyota Prado, the road from the airport takes about an hour. When we arrived at the hotel, there were absolutely no problems with the check-in, we were given a room with a sea view, we didn’t even have to give anything at the reception ($), as our tourists often have to do. The first impression was positive: clean, tidy, everything worked, the only thing is that there is no refrigerator and safe in the room. Since we were in October, we didn’t have to use the air conditioner, the air temperature during the day is 28-32 degrees, in the evening 23-24 (quite comfortable). On the evening of the first day there was a thunderstorm and before leaving on the last day it also rained in the evening, but it was dry and warm, only on the first two days there was a storm and it was windy, but this did not bother, since the sea is warm (23-24 degrees). The hotel is mostly visited by foreigners, many Germans, our compatriots are few (which is very pleasing! ) The beach is clean, the entrance to the sea is smooth, sunbeds are free, a bar near the pool and in the hotel lobby, pretty decent beer and alcohol in general, Pts even nothing (especially guilt). The restaurant has 3 types of wine (white, red, rosé ) and beer, which surprised you - you pour all this yourself as much as you like, only in bars where the assortment is more, bartenders pour it. As for food, we could not even imagine that everything would be so tasty and such a huge selection of everything and everyone. There was meat every day (fish, lamb, chicken), a huge selection of salads, vegetables (fresh, stewed, boiled), desserts deserve special attention - just a meal, bananas, plums, apples, melon, pears, peaches, grapes and dates (be sure to try). Lots of pastries, a few times there were shrimp. We ate according to the ALL system, while you have the opportunity to order a festive candlelight dinner with personal service for free one of the evenings, but it is better to do this two or three days in advance. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily, be sure to leave a couple of dinars a tip!
As for excursions and currency exchange, in Tunisia the state has a monopoly on these services, so all this is at the hotel and you won’t have to look anywhere, the rate is fixed ($ 1 = 1.5td) and can vary by a penny, respectively, prices for excursions too. A taxi to Mahdia costs 3 dinars, you can bargain everywhere, except for shops and supermarkets, where prices are fixed. The prices for everything are quite affordable when compared with Turkey or Egypt. There is a souvenir shop next to the hotel, good selection and quite reasonable prices.
Now, regarding what is worth seeing. You can take a taxi to Mahdia (3td) and in half a day go around all the sights (Medina, the Great and Small Mosques, the square, the Turkish fortress (5td entrance), which offers a beautiful view of the surroundings and the sea, the cemetery of the dead sailors). It is also worth a trip to El Jem and visit the famous Colosseum (the first in the world in terms of safety). If you have time, be sure to visit the two-day excursion to the Sahara.

The hotel has a lot of entertainment - volleyball, archery, there is a mini football field, in the evening the hotel has its own disco. On the beach during the day they offer parasailing (16ue for a 10-minute flight), a banana ride and more. In general, we were satisfied with the hotel, the level of service, food. The holiday was a success, I advise everyone!
