I went to this hotel after reading the reviews and liked the huge pool in the photo. The fact that in Tunisia in early May is still winter, we were not warned. Upon arrival, the country met us with cloudy weather and rain, but on the second day and all subsequent ones it was hot, they put on hats on excursions so that the head would not get hot, then I can imagine how hot they are in the season from June, you definitely won’t go on excursions .
The hotel is very good, first of all the staff, and the FOOD is very tasty, varied, always on the grill seafood, mussels, tiger shrimps were freshly fried with us. The staff practically does not know Russian, only French or a little English, but it was not difficult for us to communicate. The pool is huge, the water temperature is pleasant, there were not many people in the hotel at that time, the sunbeds are always free, both near the pool and on the seashore. The sea was cool, I personally swam 10 times, it was difficult to climb, and then, you get used to it and swim without problems. One thing, the hotel was built a long time ago, and it would not hurt to carry out cosmetic repairs in some places. But this didn’t upset us at all, the main thing is that the rooms are very spacious, with two toilets and a separate bath with a shower, a large dressing room. In Turkey, the numbers are 2 times smaller!
As for the city - Hammamet is the best thing I saw in Tunisia, we drove through Sousse (when we went on an excursion) - this is a nightmarish city, the tourist zone is not separated from the zone of local residents, but in Hammamet, local residents are checked at the control at the entrance to the tour . zone (hotel zone) If you want to see the locals, go to the bazaar, take a taxi (they have it sooooo cheap, or ride a tuk-tuk pleasure tram)

Excursions: all the attractions they have are located quite far from the tour. zones, you need to drive at least 2 hours to the nearest! And it's a whole day to the Sahara, it's very tiring. I recommend - one excursion in 7 days of rest. I didn’t go to sugar myself, I had friends, spent 2 days, but they say that there’s nothing particularly interesting, only jeep riding from the dunes of the Sahara, Eljem (coliseum) and Kairouan (the 4th shrine of Muslims) there and the cheapest souvenirs in country. Total: it would be better if they took a half-day excursion to the same places, but they would not be so tired on the road.
Souvenirs: bargain, there were moments when we lowered the price from 60 dinars to 5 dinars!!!! ! It is better to buy in those stores where it is written - a fixed price. They have a lot of different leather products, all our tourists are stocked with handbags and shoes, for example, leather. a portly bag of very large sizes costs 300 hryvnias. and shoes from 15 hryvnia. Olive oil is beyond any competition and products from it - soaps, creams, etc. you will not regret. And Wine! Of course, there are enough of all sorts of knick-knacks, which then fall into dust at home))))
Bottom line: you must definitely go, I was in Turkey, so I liked Tunisia more !!!! !
