I persuaded my friend to fly with me, then she said thank you))). A friend was used to relaxing in Thailand and categorically did not want to fly to Tunisia with me, she was very surprised at how many interesting things there were in Hammamet. Surprisingly, there are not very many people in the hotel, and in the city, but this did not prevent us from having a great rest. The hotel was half empty, but this did not affect the service and atmosphere. We got from the airport ourselves and quite quickly, we did not wait for the bus. Taxi cost $2. I will say right away that traveling around the city, and not only (the capital of Tunisia itself, located not far from Hammamet), is easiest by taxi. The easiest way is to go by the meter, and not agree in advance. In the city more than $ 1 never came out. I warn you that from 21 to 5 a taxi will be much more expensive. The hotel was even better than we expected. The staff almost immediately memorized all our preferences, from cleaning the room, to cocktails at the bar and dishes at dinner. The room is large and very comfortable. Always fresh towels and linens. Everything was dusted, washed and wiped daily. Changed and added bathroom accessories. We left a $ 1 tip, and asked for water in advance in the room, brought two bottles daily, although the tips were not left every day))). Excellent SPA center, delicious herbal tea and wonderful relaxing thalassotherapy! Comfortable indoor pool and professional staff, I liked it sooo much, you must try it. Prices are lower than in huge spa centers, and the quality is no worse. The food at the hotel is very tasty and the quality is good. A waiter is assigned to each table, but we were served by two guys, depending on the shift, I guess). Pleasant and polite, already on the third day they knew what we love most of all. I will not list the dishes, I will only say that there was everything: fruits, meat, fish, vegetables, sweets and much more. Only a few types, you will not stay hungry for a single day. And of course the sea! The beach is clean, the sand is soft and pleasant to the touch. There are always a lot of unoccupied sunbeds on the first line. For several days there were waves, jumping and raging like children. They brought home a bunch of "necessary" things). Clay of different types, argan oil, local clothes, fragrant handmade soap, so there is something to give for any holidays). If there is a chance, we will definitely be back!
