Before the trip, read a lot of reviews about different hotels in Tunisia. Hammamet Beach was the best compared to negative reviews. We decided to take a risk in the top three and were not mistaken! We visited many resort hotels on excursions, picking up people, but there was practically no such beautiful check-in and location. Hotel in the first line. The territory is big. Everything is fenced and under video surveillance. Their own beach, on which no one is allowed. Even sellers from the sea line. They just yell at the edge of the sea, but they cannot take a step to the side. . Why am I emphasizing territory and protection. There are hotels with shared beaches. Local people from all over Tunisia come there by car....Arabs in Tunisia are very friendly and smiling, but everyone wants money and it’s better that they don’t bother you. . We relaxed and left things on the sunbeds quite boldly. Security at the hotel, even with a dog, which, swimming in the sea, amused the children. Organization of the whole mechanism of the hotel at the highest level thanks to the General Manager. He is clearly in his place and was always and everywhere! The head of security, the chef, the chief of animation constantly received some kind of instruction from him. All events were minute by minute and like hours on time. The bartender in the lobby bar was wildly apologetic and couldn't let go of the drink at five minutes to 10. He starts exactly at ten! And this drink can be taken nearby in the restaurant until 10. Many may not like it. There are always tourists who "came to rest and paid money. " It's good that the alcohol is weak and it's almost impossible to get drunk on it. The food at the hotel is a solid 5 stars. Three kinds of meat every day. There wasn't an abundance of fish, but it was always available. There was even a fish cocktail with shrimp, squid, etc. Sweets 5 tables. I don’t know what variety you need, but I didn’t manage to try everything in a week. There are many fruits, but you need to understand the season. In June, the peaches are still hard. But African watermelons and melons are in abundance.
I put it one point lower because I could not get a room with a sea view. Our last-minute tours offer rooms in the back buildings between green palm trees and flowering alleys overlooking the water park. The first building is inhabited by the French, rich Arabs. It stands right on the beach, but it’s not worth paying extra for half the trip’s budget. Everywhere cleanliness and beauty. The sea in Tunisia does not need praise. The sandy Sahara desert was filled with blue water. At the bottom there is practically nothing - one or two fish and some grass. Not deep and visibility like a regular pool. But water +28. There was a wind for a couple of days and the water temperature dropped to +26. Not even jellyfish. They apparently did not take root in the desert. I really enjoyed my trip to Tunisia. There were big doubts, but having been there, we realized that we did the right thing.
