We went to Tunisia for the first time. Some bumps were stuffed back in Egypt, some information was found on the Internet, but there were very few stories about this particular hotel. Therefore, I want to write a little, maybe it will help someone. We went to Tunisia because in Egypt the attention of the locals was slightly strained. We went to Imperial Park because we were not confirmed with another hotel reservation. And in the end, they didn't regret it. First, of course, a shock ...Rain, cool, some kind of slightly shabby hotel (hotel 2004). The weather is average Ukrainian (the sun is hot, the wind is cold), and so on for the first few days. Then it got warmer. We arrived on a Sunday evening and were seated quickly. Before we had time to fill out the questionnaires, they put bracelets on our hands and handed over the keys. By the way, they put the bracelet on me quite loosely, and I took it off when I sunbathed, washed, slept, and generally forgot to wear it. They served like that, either they remembered the face, or everyone was there with an "all-inclusive".
Rather, the second. : -) The porter took the prescribed tip (1 raccoon) quite calmly, thanked. I immediately remembered a guy in Egypt who proudly extended his hand before he could bring things into the room. And the second one, who was cleaning with us, came running, the porter barely got out, and asked the question 20 times: “Is everything OK, madam? ” Until he got his dollar. Thank God, no one else came to us in Tunisia, they let us change clothes in peace, go to eat. The problems that arose were solved the next day, when meeting with the guide. At the reception, it seems that they do not speak Russian, but the rudiments of knowledge of English are quite enough, you can contact the guide, and the boy in the store speaks pretty decent Russian. Numbers, as I understand it, can be changed. The guide answered all complaints: I will change your number. I don’t know about the rest, they didn’t change me - they just brought a refrigerator and a safe, the rest suited me perfectly. The guy who brought the safe and taught him how to use it was a little late.
I took the hint and gave him a tip. He took it, but he was very surprised. It seems that he decided to just flirt (daughter was sitting in the bath). I must say right away what should be in the room: a safe, a refrigerator, 2 large + 2 small towels + one under your feet, shampoo, shower gel, soap, TV, 2 cups. Perhaps a hair dryer (I took mine, did not ask). Tipping was advised to leave a dinar, but not every day. We left 500 millimeters each day as the maids changed. When the dinar was left, bows of towels, nightgowns, or generally any clothing that was at hand appeared on the bed. When the clothes were all put away in the closet, an extra sheet was brought and later on a bow was made from it. For some reason they didn’t put shampoo, gel and soap on us, maybe because I immediately put mine out? The remote from the TV does not work (as I understand it, everywhere). In any case, they are not cleaned as sterile as in Egypt. Mirrors have never been worn.

In the wastebasket, a bag when it was creeping, when it wasn’t. But things did not disappear, even money, a trifle accidentally left on the bedside table, did not disappear. They took the money that we left near the ashtray. Used towels are picked up around 10-11 am, and new ones are put and cleaned around 3-4 pm. By the way, beach towels are still issued. For some reason, the operator told us that no, it's strange ...What we liked about the hotel: one building, you can enter the restaurant without going outside, there are two toilets on the ground floor, there is a cooler with hot / cold water near the bar. We ran to the bar when there was a very long queue in the restaurant. The choice of food is not bad, in Egypt the choice was smaller. The first days everything was tried, but even just a teaspoon did not fit. Therefore, we did not try all the cakes. Get ready for problems with spoons and forks, they won’t give you one fork, only two + 2 knives, but you have to wait.
In general, I advise you to learn the words "fork" and "spoon" in all conceivable languages, tip the waiter and continue to sit at his table. The other thing that bothered me was the drinks. From non-alcoholic - lemonade, Coca-Cola products and water with paint, called juice. My daughter once splashed orange on her T-shirt. Upon contact with soap, the stains turned from orange to burgundy. The second time they were washed off (or burned out), but I no longer drank juice. Coca-Cola, and more often - white wine with water. By the way, about laundry. If you plan to do your own washing, take something for hard water. We were pleased with the water slides (3), for some reason they are not visible everywhere (on the Internet and in catalogs), probably they were recently installed. We also understood all the advantages of the location of this hotel - the second line, but at the end of the line. You could run to the sea right in swimsuits, towels, a couple of minutes at a quiet pace. From a hotel in the center you can’t roam like that, you would have to dress, and even more so from the second line.
Naturally, the national evening is Tunisian music / dance + belly dance with the involvement of the audience, and the election of a miss. Well, "Miss" - you have to take it either with humor, or have dance training, or even better, bring a crowd of compatriots, all the spectators decide!

A few words about excursions. We went to the Sahara. They didn't regret it.

Adviсe:

- Get plenty of water and take money with you. Drinks will be free everywhere.
(only for breakfast of the second day for free).

- We managed to bargain for the cheapest cards (half a dinar) near the Colosseum, this is the first
excursion trip, I advise you to buy, you will immediately have an idea about the route.

- A good selection of cups-bottles in the store, where everyone is brought to buy "the most
real olive oil.

- We bought the cheapest souvenirs in Kairouan, the last stop before Hammamet.

- Delicious dates we took after a camel ride, 2kg + 250 gr = 10 dinars.
It is better to keep them in the refrigerator, otherwise they will deteriorate.
- Be sure to take shampoo with you, everyone must be dressed on camels
in local hoodies and scarves, which, of course, no one washes, so
really want to wash. When I tried during an overnight stay in a hotel in an oasis
wash and wash the bathing suit with local soap - it refused to wash, on
the hair was soaped, but categorically refused to be washed off, having reliably cemented
hairstyle for a day, before Hammamet.

In general, advice for lovers of souvenirs - take a walk before going on a tour of the shops in Yasmine, I especially advise a supermarket near Blue Ice and another, a little before reaching Carthage Land, you will have an idea about the assortment and prices so as not to buy too much and not overpay. If you buy bottles of sand - do not take home luggage, take it in your hand luggage. We did not guess, and all these wonderful patterns blurred and shook.
People who have visited the zoo are highly advised to go there,
and they also advise you to pack up and take a taxi for 40 dinars, the entrance ticket costs 5 dinars
with for an adult, it turns out cheaper than paying for a tour, but none of our
did not travel on its own.

In general, in comparison with Egypt, the rest turned out to be more complete and eventful, for
through cheerful animation and a more relaxed local population.

Have a good rest and good mood! : -))
