Hello!
To begin with, the hotel is not located on the island of Djerba itself, but in Zarzis (on the mainland south of Djerba, across a 6.5 km bridge), suddenly someone does not know this. We flew in October (this is considered the velvet season), so we chose Zarzis, as it is located to the south, and there it is a couple of degrees warmer than on Djerba itself (judging by the weather).

We rested from October 17 to October 26, full 10 days, arrived at about 6 am, quickly passed the control and went to the hotel (about an hour to go). We flew with Tunisian Airlines (Nouvelair), the food and the plane there were, to put it mildly, "not very", but tolerable, back and the plane and the food and the crew were on top.

We arrived at the hotel at about 8 am, we were the only ones who went there (which is why there were no flea markets, no fights for sunbeds, no lack of food), in general, due to the fact that it was already the end of the season, we, fortunately, did not experienced all the fate that is written in previous reviews.
We were given bracelets, and we went for breakfast (there were very few people in the hotel, so there was not much choice of food, but you could always find something to eat): boiled eggs, pancakes, if you want scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs, just ask the cook to fry (by the way, the chef who is kind of furious and always dissatisfied in the morning), yogurts, croissants, potatoes, meat, halva, pears, plums, cereals, milk, and by the way, tea, coffee and hot milk were only in the morning. Breakfast from 7:00 to 9:00 or 10:00, we got up at 5:30 (we went to meet the dawn, it's just a fairy tale ...we advise everyone), so we always went to the beginning of breakfast.
The dining room, by the way, was always empty, all the tables were reserved, and who said that there were no napkins, apparently at the end of the season they appeared)) The napkins were personalized, with the emblem of the hotel) The cleaner (waiter) in the dining room was also not always kind, apparently tired one person to work, especially one)) The Germans and the French constantly staged clowning on the tables: flowers, candles, glasses of wine and water, everything in general is beautiful and colorful, I don’t know, maybe they give a lot of tips, or they just treat them like that , we didn’t do this, to be honest, we didn’t care, just to eat)
We got a room on the second floor, not far from the reception, the room was overlooking the road, palm trees hung on the balcony, and I caught Wi-Fi, the room was the most ordinary, the shower, the toilet worked, we never turned on the air conditioner, we didn’t it was hot, the TV set was old convex)) The next day we met our guide Elena, she asked how our room was, etc. , we said that it was normal, only the TV set was very small, she was shocked that we had not changed the number, and went to the reception, we were given the keys to another room, and we moved)) The room was with a sea view, with a flat-screen TV, with a chic huge window on the floor, the room was larger and the ceilings were 4 meters))) Room 458))) We cleaned every day , bed linen changed periodically, towels changed each! day, wet cleaning was also, spinning hearts, swans, and so on. , we left Alyonka's chocolates, and dinars.

True, in the shower during the day there was a bad pressure and the shower was somehow strangely made, it constantly flowed from it to the floor, we threw one towel for the feet, which, because the entire floor would be in the water, the cleaner cleaned everything) Thanks to him.

The beach is a different story ...it's certainly a fairy tale, that year we were in the Dominican Republic, and so the sand here is snow-white, and is very similar to the Dominican one, the color of the sea is different every day: sometimes greenish, sometimes light green, sometimes blue, sometimes turquoise, insanely beautiful, the hotel had little algae during our stay, more precisely the first three days there were none at all (only mountains of algae lie on the right in the abandoned territory), the sea was calm, the water was clear, you walk about 15 meters. and you're up to your knees...
then the wind picked up (by the way, there was no wind before lunch, the wind rose in the afternoon and sometimes it was very strong), and brought algae, a day later the algae began to disappear, either they were brought back into the sea, or they were removed, I don’t know, waves there were notable ones, we jumped on them perfectly))), and in recent days it was more or less calm, but there were also waves and the sea was clean (I will attach a photo of proof). It happened that we even lay alone on our beach, of course there were a million sunbeds, choose what you want, you don’t have to fight, well, mattresses with umbrellas are always in abundance (again, due to the fact that the hotel was half empty), they say in neighboring hotels for plates and food fought).
At night, in the evening and in the morning it was cool, 20 degrees, it rained a couple of times in the morning, I had to take time with the beach, then it cleared up, from about 9:00 in the morning the sun was hot, and until 15:00, the sea was warm, 25 degrees, to swim it was not cold, even with a strong wind, the sun was roasting, but we never got burned (only the nose was peeled off). The weather in the morning and evening is 20-22 degrees, at night 18-20, in the afternoon 26-27, the sun fluttered quite well, I think it was more than 30.

The hotel area is small, but everything is clean and comfortable. The animator boys did not work during our stay, since the hotel was almost empty, there was no one to jump in front of)) But we met and talked) Once we even had exercises.
Wi-Fi catches in the lobby and on the balcony near the bar, I personally called home via viber and uploaded pictures and videos, everything is ok, there are 2 TVs in the lobby, we watched a Russian channel (only one first channel), there is billiards for money , is worth every penny. The pool is big, starts from 1.
4m and up to 1.9m, we saw it cleaned every morning, nothing was lying in it.

The bar only worked in the lobby, they poured whatever and as much as they wanted into glass glasses, when in the evening a lot of people came from nowhere to play football, apparently there was a shortage and poured into plastic, and always into glass, I asked for cocktails in beautiful glasses with fruit and tubes, they always made me, coffee with foam, with milk, with whatever you want (with what is available), we even took thermal mugs with us, if we wanted to pour them into them and we took them with us to the beach, so that 100 times not to go, because the bar on the beach did not work, no one said a word. We took a 1.5l bottle of water every day (there is both with and without gas).
There is a safe in the room, but it is for a fee, we didn’t take it, we had 2 suitcases with locks, despite the fact that one fit into the other, that’s where we hid everything, and the phones were always with us in our purse, on the beach left on a lounger, no one stole anything Thank God.

Near the hotel, if you go to the road and go to the right, there are shops and restaurants, we bought souvenirs in the shops: spices, Turkish delight, magnets, olive oil, halva, everything is inexpensive. . And in a restaurant near the attractions, we ate on the last day for the remaining dinars, guys ...if you order food there, ask for it not to be spicy, we didn’t say, and our mouths burned with hellish flames ...well, everything was very spicy!

We checked out at 12:00 on the last day, no one cuts off the bracelets, you can also use everything ...

just before leaving for an hour and a half, we went to the reception and said: "Room-shower", we were given the keys to the room on the ground floor and we calmly went to take a shower and change clothes, without any extra charge!

For lunch in the dining room there was always a choice of food, everything that was listed in previous reviews was everything, it’s simply unrealistic to stay hungry, some dishes a la yesterday’s pasta + vegetables were also all in a row, but I didn’t eat them, there were also some madly spicy dishes, also for dinner, only for dinner all sorts of cakes, pies, etc. were added, and plus two barrels of red and rose wine, wine for everyone. But the beer in the bar was very tasty, even though I'm not a fan of beer.
We only went to the Crocodile Farm (in Russia we planned to go only there, since you need to go to the Sahara for 2 days if you go, but for me it’s hard), there was nothing supernatural, of course, we looked at the flocks of crocodiles, how they are fed, on turtles, iguanas, and took a picture with a small crocodile, in general, cool.

Across the road is the hotel Leila Meriam, you can safely go there for a walk, go up to the mini-zoo (there are only camels), but the mountain offers a beautiful view, and it’s especially beautiful at sunset, the hotel area is beautiful, but the hotel is located on the second line, and Diana, by the way, on the first, from the hotel 1 minute walk to the beach).

In general, to summarize: We didn’t find the horror that I read about there (well, there are jambs, and that’s normal, the hotel is a C grade, and you want to kiss your feet), and by the way, we walked along the coast to the left of the hotel, passing Odysseus, Eden Star , Sango club and I will say this ...guys, we had the most!
clean beach! At the beach of the hotel, which has a bridge, the hair stood on end from the "views" ...even to the bridge it was necessary to wade through thickets of algae, horror ...they also had bottles with glasses floating ...here's 4 stars for you!

We planned Tunisia in October (precisely Djerba or Zarzis), but I was afraid and doubted ...but we bought a tour (at a very affordable price: a full 10 days for two cost us 54.200 rubles with a flight from Moscow (Vnukovo Airport) and let's go, and I will say this. . we never regretted, we wanted just such a vacation, complete relaxation ...10 days of relaxation, only the sea, only the sun, and only we))) We got it ...

Thanks Africa! Thanks Tunis! Thanks Djerba and Zarzis!
