To be honest, I was not going to make a review about the rest in Phuket. Firstly, after mainland Thailand (and we traveled it far and wide), Phuket was not impressed. An island is like an island. Secondly, it makes no sense to write about nature, hospitality and service once again. It is a fact!
I am writing because there are no reviews for this hotel.
So Chedi. The hotel is built on the principle of rice paddies. Rows 5-6 from bottom to top (did not count). The first one is on the beach, the last one is practically on the road. Everywhere has its advantages. From the bottom, go far to the "city", from the top - climb from the beach. The restaurant is slightly below the middle, but the view from it is amazing, especially the evening sunset!

The hotel is quiet and calm, for those who want to break away, it is better to choose hotels on Patong Beach. For all 13 days, they never heard Russian speech. Our people rarely go there (there is no Russian TV channel either), though there is a DVD. You can take CDs with you. There is nothing Russian in the local disco. And English is boring all the time. Compensated for the lack of communication on excursions. Guides, hotel staff, service - correspond to the Thai "5". In general, the hotel is considered "expensive". As soon as you say that you are from Chedi, you immediately read respect in the eyes of the Thais (they don't know our rates! ).
Discos until the morning only on Saturdays, on Surin Beach (nearby), you can also have dinner there. The prices are loyal. But after 21.00 life slowly calms down.
Local alcohol - not very much. It is better to buy gifts and souvenirs in Bangkok - cheaper and better choice.
Taxis are mostly fixed prices (local or beach).
I advise excursions to the islands: Bonda and Phi Phi are super. Elephants - full extreme, rafting - not so much. I really liked FantaSea, I advise. The rest is up to preference.
I summarize. The hotel is classy, ​ ​ but for a calm and measured rest.
