We rested in "Aspasia" on Katya, in mid-February. We booked through Agoda, which turned out to be much cheaper than through a tour operator. We liked the hotel very much. Firstly, its location, right next to the sea, on the first line. Secondly, a fantastically beautiful area! The hotel stands on a hill and the view is stunning - a small river flows into the sea, next to a wide sandy spit with white, fine sand... The hotel also has a wonderful pool.
Upon check-in, they brought us wine and whiskey, and also gave coupons for a free dinner and a free massage session - a trifle, but nice! The room we had was de lux, spacious, bright with a large balcony... And with a view of the sea, like all rooms in the hotel. The room is all the latest, cleanest, elegant interior design.
Good breakfasts with fruits. We ate and then went out to dinner late at night. But at the hotel you can have lunch and dinner in a good restaurant "Malinas". But, as in other hotels, it will be about twice as expensive as on the street. About 1500 - 2000 baht for two.

The service at the hotel is excellent, everything is done quickly, unobtrusively.
The housekeeping is excellent whether you left a tip or not. It's just that on the first day we went to change dollars and did not leave a tip, but this did not affect the quality of cleaning.
The only negative, this hotel is located on a high and steep hill, so older people and couples with children may have difficulty climbing. But this did not stop us, we walked and rented a bike and then drove up the slope. Insolent taxi drivers ask for 100 baht for this! But the hotel is located in a picturesque and quiet place, surrounded by green thickets, just immersed in greenery. And he is isolated from the rest.
WI fi is free! This pleased, because free internet is a rarity for local hotels. The speed is decent and you can use the beach, which we did.
By the way, there were very few Russians in the hotel.
Outside the hotel, if you go down the hill on the road and turn right, you get to Kata Road. Here life boils! Lots of markets, shops and restaurants. Mass of massage parlors. Small and picturesque Asian streets, with tales scurrying everywhere... Near the exchange office and pharmacy at the Thai clothing market Kata Expo (in order to get here, you need to turn onto Kata, to the right, after going down the hill), every evening two elephants perform. Near the Dinopark on Karon (to get to Karon, you need to turn left), an elephant also appears, but these two comrades sunk into our souls more! They are still quite kids, such with funny fluff! Buy 50 baht and you can take cool pictures! Immediately on this territory, the office of the Treasure Island travel agency is located, where we bought all the excursions from a pleasant young man named Denis. We really liked the communication with Denis, he told everything in detail and honestly, about all the moments.

On his advice, we bought several excursions and never regretted our choice. So, we were on the island of Tachay, this excursion left wonderful memories - the emerald sea, white sand - an island lost in the ocean, a real exotic! There is a chic lunch on the island, you can relax after the trip to the bungalow, take a walk around the island in the forest, then go snorkeling. We swam and even saw a small shark!
Next, we went to the "James Bond", also a cool excursion and inexpensive, besides (we took for 1800 per person). It includes swimming through the caves in inflatable canoes, several stops with landings in very beautiful places, lunch with sea gypsies, James Bond Island itself and an hour's swimming stop.
Were also on the show "Fantasy". A colorful show, with a good dance performance and amazing costumes. Visitors are brought in advance, you can walk around the picturesque area, feed the elephants, take pictures. The program also includes a free dinner.
And the last excursion was to Khao Sok, which we also liked very much. There was also elephant riding in the jungle and lunch on the Pu Sok River, visiting picturesque caves, a temple, rafting on bamboo rafts along the river in the jungle..... There were a lot of wonderful memories from a trip to this truly magical place....The photo, of course, is not convey the flavor of these amazingly beautiful places!
Shopping.
We went to the Central Festival in Phuket Town, we also visited Patong in Jung Ceylon. We liked the festival much more, but this is a personal matter for everyone.
A couple of times we went to hang out in Patong, on this street of "debauchery"  )). But in general, they didn’t see anything directly very depraved there. Go-go bars, sports bars, restaurants, discos - there is a large selection of such entertainment.
The trip turned out to be successful, the hotel pleased, definitely everything is on the top five! And Phuket itself is a wonderful place for an active and relaxing holiday!
