The hotel impressed me more than others with its atmosphere. If I went to Thailand with my beloved, I would most likely choose this hotel.
There is no infrastructure around the hotel, there is a mini-market through 3 hotels.
Located on Kamala Beach, across the road, the sea is calm at high tide. Guests go swimming in the central part of Kamala, 10 minutes on foot.
There are no Russian-speaking staff, no deposit.
There are shops on the beach, 5 minutes walk.
The structure of the hotel - 7 buildings, each with 3 floors.
Towels are available at the reception.
To Patong and to Kamala there is a bp shuttle according to the schedule.
In the restaurant breakfasts and breakfasts + dinners on a set menu. We had lunch at this restaurant, everything was delicious.
On the territory of 3 pools.
There is a kids club with staff, free of charge.
There is no other animation, there is no disco.
Wi-fi throughout the bp.
We examined the Deluxe Sea view rooms: the area of the room is 35 sq. m. , 1 room, wood on the floor, water is replenished every day in the mini-bar, as well as tea, coffee bp. There is a bp safe, the rest is all for money. The bed is on the podium, and the bathroom is in the recess, very atmospheric.
As well as Thai Villa rooms. Far from the entrance, on the outskirts. Room size 70 sq. m, 1 room, there are villas with a shower, there are with a bath. The room has slates and a microwave.
My summary: the hotel is great for couples or families. Or for those who want complete privacy.
To say that we were unpleasantly surprised is an understatement!
Having addressed this problem to the hotel staff, we were offered more expensive rooms, after looking at which, we were convinced that the conditions there are absolutely NOT better. We considered staying in this hotel not only unpleasant, but also dangerous to health and life. We moved to another hotel, and the damage was reimbursed after returning to the travel agency.
I must say that we chose the Aquamarine Resort and Villa hotel based on photos and reviews both in the travel agency and on the Internet. Everything looks amazing in the photo. In life - horror!
Paid under the contract for two Deluxe rooms (were resting for four) in the five-star hotel Aquamarine Resort and Villa (Phuket), the keys (electronic cards) to which we were issued in February 2007, horrified us! They not only did not correspond to the rooms of a five-star hotel, but were an indicator of complete unsanitary conditions in the hotel. Not to mention the fact that everything in the room looked old and very shabby - the furniture, as well as finishing materials, wore out over time, frayed, partially fell apart - the room struck me with its neglect, uncleanliness and dirt. There was a thick layer of dust on chests of drawers, shelves, beds and other furniture, impressive lizards ran on the ceiling and walls, periodically jumping on the floor and furniture, the mattress was covered with mold, dust mixed with dust was found on the ottoman (reminiscent of the effects of a bark beetle), in the bathroom there was a huge cobweb in the shower, the tiles were covered with disgusting green mold stains, and here too! the lizard ran. There were insects on the ceiling and walls throughout the room. The proof of all of the above was captured in the photographs of the room. There was an unpleasant smell of rotten, stagnant water on the territory. Which is quite combined with a loud chorus of frogs. Real Asian exotic!!!

The hotel is located on a hill, due to which the hotel offers an incredible view of Kamala Beach, views of the Andaman Sea from all rooms.
We lived in a deluxe room, the room is very good, bathroom, shower, toilet, washbasin, dressing table, huge bed, wardrobe, safe, air conditioning, TV, table, 2 chairs, balcony.
Room service is stable once a day, they make the bed, change towels and bathrobes, very unobtrusively and neatly.
The hotel area, although large but comfortable, everything is compact, lots of greenery, ponds. 3 wonderful pools, one near the restaurant on the lower level, the second on the upper one with a pool bar and a separate children's pool.
Free of charge: gym, billiards. For a fee: a full range of spa services, internet, laundry. All expenses during your stay (restaurant, bar, telephone, etc. )
) are recorded on the account of the room, on departure you pay with a card, it seemed to us very convenient.
The front desk is very friendly as is the rest of the staff. But not knowing English can complicate your life. We know - so we were very comfortable.
Every hour a free bus to the beach (5 minutes drive), the beach is good, sunbeds are paid 100 baht / day. 2 times a day bus to Patong - there is all night life (pre-order). The local taxi "tuk-tuk" is also very convenient so as not to depend on the schedule. Be sure to bargain with taxi drivers. Drive to Kamala maximum 100 baht = $ 2.5, to Pattong max. 250. There is also a taxi at the hotel, a little expensive but convenient, called, ordered, called back, filed, we were driven by a black Volvo with leather interior and air conditioning, at any time of the day or night.
In general, I repeat, knowing English with staff, you can agree on everything, right up to turn on the backlight in the pool at 2 am.
We had accommodation with one breakfast (buffet, about 12 different dishes + fruits + juices), European and Thai cuisine. To have a full dinner in the same restaurant, but for your money for two it costs about $ 50. In Kamala, in various cafes, it costs half as much.
Directly opposite the beach there is a wonderful grocery store and not only the "Seven Eleven" store (this is a chain of stores in Tai) where you can buy every little thing such as beer, bread, sweets, dairy products, etc. and primitive medicines a la solpadein)
At the time of our stay, there were very few people in the hotel (out of season), a few couples of elderly and nice Australians and a group of Japanese students, so all the time we were in peace and quiet, all the attention was paid to us. Next trip to Tai, just off season!
If there was anything perfect in this world, it would be Aquamarine Resort & Villa.
Recommended for those who want peace, quiet, comfort and care.

The service is excellent. Breakfast is more than complete. Every day - scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, 2 types of sausages, ham, baked tomatoes, boiled vegetables, fresh cabbage of various types, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans in tomato, lettuce, sweet peppers, etc. , fruit salad, fresh fruits - papaya, pineapple, pamela, watermelon, sometimes bananas, melon, different buns, croissants, sometimes meat, chicken, potatoes.
The hotel has 2 swimming pools. One with a bar and a small waterslide. The other one is with a jacuzzi, next to the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable, safe in the room, bathrobes, slippers, tea, coffee, kettle, mineral water, hair dryer, refrigerator, everything you need to eat.
There is no beach of its own, although it stands on a hill on the seashore. But along the coast in the sea there are roofed stones and it is impossible to swim. There is a free shuttle bus to Kamala Beach. The beach is very clean and not crowded. There are jet skis and a paraglider.
