I'll start in order:
1. Check-in at the hotel
We were met as it should be - registration took about 20 minutes, we were served cool tea. By the way, I’ll say right away that a girl works at the reception, her name is Tan, she speaks a little Russian. So do not believe the old reviews that there are no Russian-speaking staff. To be honest, I don’t know if Tan was working that day or she was specially assigned because the Russians would stop by, but the fact that this reduced at least 15 minutes of registration for us is for sure.
So upon arrival, ask her - she will always help and give answers to your most pressing questions (about the exchange of money and the location of a particular place). Then the young man brought us (on a small typewriter) to our building, brought things, showed what and how to use.
P. S. Deposit at this hotel 300 $$$
2. Number
Our room type is Deluxe Sea View (sea view, 50 m2). We really liked the room. Indeed, everything is as in the photo, a large balcony, a large bed, a large TV. The room has a hairdryer, dvd, iron, ironing board. There are 2 Russian channels on TV - 1st and RTR, respectively. The room itself is spacious and cleaned every day. Every day they put free water and a full tea and coffee set. Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion - always replenished, and besides, from our own Spa-salon.
They take security seriously.
4. Nutrition
We only had breakfasts included, but they were of a high standard. Breakfast is served by their main restaurant, Aqua. Both European and Asian dishes, fruits, juices, vegetables, side dishes, salads, yogurts are included - and these are all 4-7 different types. The whole menu was repeated every 4-5 days, but there were always eggs that were fried in front of you and bacon. Be sure to try the pastries - they are simply divine! ! ! There is also the Azur restaurant - it starts working in the evening and serves Japanese cuisine in addition to the usual menu - sushi there is just delicious! Room service is available around the clock. We often ate in Aqua, in Azur, and also right in front of the hotel in a cafe, it ate almost the entire hotel (by the way, there is also a massage and laundry services are very inexpensive). And everywhere - both in hotel restaurants and in the cafe opposite there is a menu in Russian - ask, do not be shy!
5. Beach
I don't really know why everyone is so tired of this beach. A normal beach suited us: clean, sandy, free, not crowded, gently sloping, with practically no waves. I think it’s just for mothers with children - they won’t carry the child, he won’t get hurt on anything. And the fact that the tides are not a problem. First, the ebb and flow schedule is in each issue in the information folder and the ebb will not be a surprise to anyone. Secondly, I hope you will not sit in your room, but go on excursion programs, so you simply will not find half the low tide. And thirdly, the hotel has 3! ! ! (2 with sea water and 1 with fresh water) large pools, which greatly smooth out the absence of the sea at some hours.
6. Tipping (in English tips)
Tipping is customary in Thailand, and this hotel is no exception. Every morning, leaving the rooms, they left 50 baht for the cleaning lady (this is the average tip).
Do not leave tips in hotel restaurants - they are already included in the service bill.
7. Rules for tanning
I want to be careful. The sun is really very hot there, in the truest sense of the word. Use a sunscreen of at least 50 SPF in the early days and under a sun lounger. We took 20 SPF and sunbathed in the direct sun and it almost came to the hospital. Do not upset your vacation and do not spoil your vacation photos with a face swollen from a burn. All creams are in the pharmacy opposite. But if this happened - in their pharmacy there are such products as Aquafeel, Panthenol (an analogue of our Panthenol, but special - for sunburn, our Russian, tourists say, does not help in this case) and Solcoseryl cream (it is for very severe burns ).
Well, for dessert:
Opposite the hotel there are (I list in order): a mini alcohol market, a pharmacy, a cafe with Indian cuisine, a taxi, a tour service, a 24-hour Family Mart, souvenir shops, pavilions with clothes, fruit stalls - so do not take everything from Russia with you. I would advise only medicines and everything, the rest is there. If you immediately turn left from the hotel and go without turning to the pier, then to the left and after 150 meters there will be an exchange office and a couple more cafes.
P. S. We rested together with my husband, there are no children, so I can’t say anything about holidays with children. But there were a lot of families with children in the hotel, and this, I think, is one of the main indicators.
Describe the most important. The hotel, in my opinion, deserves the best reviews and ratings. 10/10.
rooms - excellent furniture and plumbing. The rooms are very big! The buildings are located so that almost every room can see the sea.
the sea is a clean beach - it is constantly cleaned! so comrade "Juggler_andrey" who wrote that there is a dirty beach is wrong. He went down to the beach from the side of the village, and the hotel part is further. During high and low tides, the water goes far, but this did not cause us any inconvenience. It is even interesting to walk along the seabed and look at the living creatures.
During the departure of the sea, they swam in the pools, which abound in the hotel. You can also walk 10 minutes to the other side of the island and find many beaches there.
food - very varied breakfasts. only one baked I counted 25 species.
restaurants and biry - Moscow prices, which is a bit high for this country. Impeccable restaurant service and delicious food. Near the hotel there are several restaurants with cheap but tasty local food. Our favorite - if you leave the hotel and go left until the turn by the sea. at the corner - a cafe. All very tasty and fresh seafood at very low prices.
In general, the holiday was unforgettable.
