Stayed in this hotel 2 times. If it were possible, we would only go to this hotel, because we liked it the most, although we have been going to Phuket for 10 years and have been several times in good 5s. We booked on our own much in advance (8-9 months in advance), because Europeans rest in this hotel from year to year, and it is difficult to get there during the peak season. After the change in the ruble exchange rate, it already turns out to be a little expensive, and, unfortunately, you have to choose simpler (cheaper) hotels. The hotel website (marinaphuket. com) has a webcam with a real-time broadcast of Karon Beach, I go periodically, I look at the sea when I need to cheer up. Even if we are not relaxing in the Marina, we definitely go to lunch at the Rock cafe on the shore, where delicious food, beautiful serving and a great view !! ! A lot has already been written about birds, butterflies, squirrels and other animals, as well as bananas in the "garden" around the bungalow, I won't repeat it. They escaped from mosquitoes on the street with "spirals", indoors - with fumitox (I advise you to buy local plates or liquid, because those brought with you did not work well). When we went for the first time there were no free dinners, the second time there were free dinners as a gift from the hotel, in my opinion, not very bad, but I love seafood and preferred to eat them for dinner elsewhere, especially since there were three of us and you had to pay for the third dinner (I think it was 900 baht, I don’t remember exactly, because they didn’t pay in cash, but recorded it on the number). In general, if possible, go to the Marina, you will not regret it. If you walk in heels, then you are not here, the paths are wooden and sometimes slippery, look under your feet in any case.
