We rested at the hotel from February 9 to February 22.2013. This is not the first time in Phuket.
We decided to write a review about this hotel. Maybe someone will come in handy.
When choosing a hotel, we stopped at Kata Silver Sand (for reasons beyond our control. . . ). After looking, photos and reading the reviews, I wanted to go to this hotel less than to any other. And in vain we thought so! There are no construction sites nearby, the territory of the hotel is small, but it didn't matter to us, the staff is friendly, friendly, especially the "cook" - laughter. Breakfasts are monotonous, but for 14 days they are not tired. The rooms are very good - clean, plumbing is new, there is a refrigerator and a safe, the furniture is in good condition, the bedding was changed every other day, towels - every day. The disadvantages include the lack of a hair dryer in the room (but it is available at the reception b / pl), the lack of bathrobes and slippers (who cares) and paid WI-FI.

Beach towels at the reception b/pl. On the beach, a sunbed is paid - 100 baht per day, if you leave the beach, then take a receipt so as not to pay twice. There are three beaches in the area of ​ ​ this hotel. Kata Beach is the closest, from the hotel to the left, on foot 7-10 minutes, Kata Noi Beach is further, also from the hotel to the left, on foot 20-25 minutes and uphill... , Karon Beach - from the hotel to the right 30 minutes or by bus for 30 baht. On Kata beach - clear water, gentle shore, good for children, no waves, a lot of people. Kata Noi Beach - less transparent water, there are waves, the coast is steeper, few people, quiet, calm. Karon Beach -
the cleanest sea, the sand crunches, the people are moderate. We went to Karon 1 time, that was enough, because someone bit me or stung me (plangton or jellyfish? ).
There are many restaurants and cafes around, many markets, shops, souvenirs, massage parlors, ateliers, pharmacies and opticians.
There is a Thai medicine shop with Russian-speaking sellers (aloe vera balms for burns, gels, oils, creams, teas, herbs, tablets). It's before reaching Kata beach on the left side. The cheapest mini market "7eleven", there are ridiculous prices. We were satisfied with the rest, we are now at home and the soul is still in Thailand. Kata Silver Sand hotel is not expensive, don't hesitate.
