Just yesterday we arrived from the Baumann Residence, and while my impressions are still fresh, I want to share them. Stayed at the hotel with my husband. Upon arrival at the hotel, while filling out the documents, we were offered soft drinks, which was very handy in such a heat. After filling out the documents, they took a deposit of 1000 baht from us. We got to our room literally 15 minutes later. Didn't have to wait for the scheduled time to check in. When ordering a hotel, our tour operator wrote to give a room with two beds, but they gave one, at our request to change to another room, they said that at the moment there are no such rooms, we had to put up with it. The room is large, consists of a kitchenette, a small living room, a bedroom and a bathroom, there is a good plasma TV and a large refrigerator. The furniture is quite shabby. Separately, I want to dwell on the cleaning of the room. The room is cleaned mediocrely, the balcony is often not cleaned at all, and a huge number of ants crawl there, but tips are taken seriously. If you do not leave a tip, then they will begin to educate you, that is, by your arrival, the number will not be cleaned yet. Or hang torn towels, like us with a huge hole. Before hanging towels, they should check them, and do not hang up holes. Towels are very worn, gray in color, when they were probably white. To be honest, we did not leave tips every day, and not because it was a pity, but sometimes there was no small money. Once they came from the beach, and the room had not yet been cleaned, the cleaning lady, seeing us, quickly rushed to get out, at that time we stood and waited in the corridor. At some point, we heard the sound of a broken glass, I told my husband that this glass would definitely be attributed to us. The husband said that this should not be, it was not we who broke him. The next day, we generally had to wait until 16:00 for cleaning. and cleaned the room only after we contacted the reception. Now about nutrition. The food is very scarce and monotonous, of course you won’t stay hungry, but you will know the menu by heart, by the end of the holiday you don’t even want to look at this food, let alone eat it. But most of all, as already mentioned in previous reviews, the Chinese were annoying, there are just a huge number of them, every day they were brought and taken away by 8-10 buses. They are very noisy, yelling like crazy all the time, dragging suitcases everywhere, you can’t get into the dining room. They are completely uneducated, they swoop on food like locusts, sweeping away everything. It's hard to find free tables in the morning. They eat disgustingly, spit the food back into the plates, champ on the entire dining room, that is, the appetite disappears completely. There was such a moment, we were sitting, having breakfast, next to the table a bunch of Chinese, one of the Chinese women, having drunk her juice, got up and put her dirty glass on our table. We sat in silence for a minute, then my husband took this glass and returned it back, here the Chinese woman had a surprised face. So we had difficulty enduring the Chinese in such numbers. The contingent of vacationers there is distributed approximately as follows: 70% are Chinese, 25% are Russians, and somewhere around 5% others. There was, however, one pleasant moment. My husband had a birthday and he was very well congratulated. The girl brought a beautiful cake with candles and a fruit basket, it was really very nice. Near the hotel there is a rental of motorbikes, who are interested, which is very convenient, you can rent and leave in the parking lot at the hotel. We took a motorbike for 10 days for 1700 baht, left a deposit of 1000 baht and a copy of the passport. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, but it works strangely, that is, the connection is sometimes not, it is constantly interrupted, it works without failures, I don’t know what it depends on, sometimes it’s enough to change the place, so walk around the number and look for a place. Before the flight, we decided to check if we owed the hotel, the girl at the reception looked and said that everything was fine. We ordered a taxi from the hotel, it is not cheap 900 baht. , but we decided that we were still flying away and these 1000 baht of the deposit could just be spent on a taxi, and the next day, when we rented a room, we were told that we owe the hotel 100 baht for a broken glass. It was useless to argue, because they do not understand Russian at all, but hardly understand English. But an unpleasant aftertaste remained, this act crossed out all that little of the positive that still remained. We definitely won't go to this hotel again. .
