General information:
Located on Karon Beach. First line. There are beach towels, there are no sun loungers and umbrellas. There is no road between the beach and the hotel. The entrance to the sea is gentle, with cliffs. There is no bar on the beach.
Deposit upon arrival 2000 baht per day, or block them on the card.
Year of construction 2007, renovation 2015. For me, the renovation is not very visible.
There are 9 buildings in total.
Wi-fi paid everywhere, 150 baht per day.
For children bp slides, playground, class schedule.
The hotel has 3 categories of rooms. The territory is large, shuttles on it are also paid 50 baht to the circle (the circle is next to the reception, next to the beach).
Inspected Deluxe ocean facing. 49 sq. m. There are showers, there are baths.
Tea, water, coffee every day.
Extra bed - sofa, but can put a full bed.
The area is very beautiful, all in ponds and waterfalls.
I didn’t like the hotel, we walked past the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell of fried fish, like in Patong. I would not want to pay money and experience such discomfort. It is not very clear to me why everything is paid, despite the fact that the price of the hotel is not cheap.
One of the rare hotels located right on the beach at the very beginning of Karon Bay. Several buildings of different heights, interconnected. The style is reminiscent of classic colonial. Lush vegetation creates comfort and privacy. To Patong, at least $ 10 for a taxi one way.
Number. All rooms are facing the sea, but due to overgrown vegetation it may not be visible. Choose from rooms with jacuzzis or private infinity pools.
Beach. On the edge of Karon public beach. Local and other vacationers practically do not come. The color of the sand is light, but not white. There are no sun loungers or deckchairs on the beach. There is no natural shade from plants on the beach either. In some places, the beach is overgrown with grass, snags and other debris can come across.
The only hotel in Karon with direct access to the beach, without crossing the road.
1. There is no road between the hotel and the sea. The fact is that all the beaches in Thailand belong to the king, i. e. they are public, and between the beach and the hotel, as a rule, there is a road (I mean the first line, it’s not worth talking about the second). The hotel stands apart, but 10-15 minutes on foot and you are in the city where you can inexpensively: eat, massage, souvenirs, shops, rentals, book a tour, etc. For comparison, the hotel le Meredin, also a five, there is also no road between the hotel and the sea, but only by tuk-tuk to the city, and this is at least 200 rubles. in one direction (this is not Pattaya for you, here are tuki greyhounds).
2. All rooms have a sea view (there are simply no others). The rooms are large: from 52 square meters to 73 square meters, there are also villas of 150 and 220 squares, everything is new, everything works. We lived in a SPA deluxe room: a huge bed, a jacuzzi on the balcony, a cascading shower in the room, central air conditioning or a fan, turn on whatever you want, again on the balcony there is another fan and two full-fledged (not plastic) sun loungers (or are these chairs ), a huge plasma, well, and all sorts of little things, such as bathrobes, slippers, safe, umbrella, minibar, washing bottles, shaving stuff, combs, hair dryer, darning kit, etc. etc.
3. The service in the rooms is impeccable: fruits were brought every day, sometimes some were repeated, but the combination is always different, free water 1l (2 bottles) per person in the morning (well, or in the afternoon) the room will be cleaned, the bed will be made, they will put fruit, in the evening they will come and spread the bed on a pillow two they put flowers, they throw out the garbage, they try not to catch the eye, they give money in their hands - they take it, but they are embarrassed as if they stole it and they were caught at the same time, they gave it a little - 5-6 times for about 50-70 baht. Once we forgot to turn off the "do not disturb" button, of course the room was not cleaned, but in the evening we slipped a letter of apology under the door.
4. We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurants - we went to the city, as for breakfast - super. There was local, European and Japanese cuisine, I would say each in full, of course, not all possible dishes, but "first, second, salad and compote" from each set.
5. The territory is simply amazing: a large pool on the sides of 2 pcs. jacuzzi + bar in the pool, the lagoon pool is not deep, but has many creeks in which various "bubble bulbulators" and "jet-water massagers" are installed, a children's pool with a small slide and two fountains (children are already squeaking), an artificial river with a current and two waterfalls (you swim right under them) + two water slides and a special rock for divers. I recommend swimming along the river on special large inflatable circles, they lie nearby (on the shore), in one place there is another small water slide that you can slide down while sitting on a circle, just super. In short, lose half a day, no problem, and no water parks are needed. The territory is very large and green, there are many paths, bridges, etc. , there are secluded gazebos, and in the evening lights flare up in huge bowls scattered around the hotel - very impressive. On the roof of one of the buildings there is a tennis court.
6. The sea is definitely clean, we swam almost every day, the water is clear and the color is beautiful, especially when it's sunny. The beach is cleaned daily, although it is state-owned and the hotel may not do this. I saw the pipe, but nothing bad comes out of it, I also saw the river and there is a lake nearby, we went past every day to eat in the city, the frogs yell great, just elephants, not frogs, but dirt, stink, etc. nowhere, fear has the eyes of a hoo and we scare others. If anyone is very squeamish, then go to Europe, they licked everything there a long time ago, by the way, they will bury such a pipe deeper so that it is not visible, but they will shit there and the same amount, but in Asia everything is honest, because here a person accepts everything calmly without irritation, and his soul rests, and if you look for jambs, then your soul will not rest.
I will add that the hotel takes a considerable deposit of about 500 dollars, but we bargained for 300, we thought the minibar would be taken away or the phone would be cut off - nothing like that happened.
In addition, we took two excursions: riding elephants and bamboo rafts, a trip to James Bond Island, a trip to a transvestite show, diving, SPA (my wife went for half a day), a sightseeing tour of the island.
If I lied, I'm sorry; if I forgot something, please clarify. Of course, rest is not only a hotel, and my wife and I started traveling not so long ago, but it so happened that we lived only in fives and this one is very good.
