A very good hotel. Recommended.

Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For recreation with friends, for young people
My wife and I decided to write this review immediately upon arrival at the White House Resort and the first acquaintance with it. We write a review at the end of the holiday, and therefore almost objectively (we rested from 06/20/07 to 07/04/07).
About the rooms. After reading the negative reviews, we went to this hotel with apprehension. Upon arrival, we realized that the negative reviews are written unreasonably. Quite a normal hotel for a three-ruble note. Yes, not new, but not a “moldy white house”, as one of the reviews says. We don't understand the motivation behind these comments. This is 3 * (and in our opinion it is quite deserved), and not 5 *. Therefore, you must be aware that the rooms will not have a jacuzzi and you will not be offered royal suites. The furniture in the rooms is not new, but, as communication with tourists living in 4 * and even 5 * showed, this situation is typical for all hotels in Pattaya. Air conditioners do work a little noisy, but you can stand it.
Of the minuses - there is no entertainment for children, so they almost always stick out by the pool, which is a little annoying. Speaking of the pool. It is not clear why, but ABSOLUTELY all blondes and blondes have green hair. And regardless of dyed hair or not. My wife (a natural blonde) thought that this trouble would not affect her, however, she also “turned green”. We saw a boy of 7-8 years old with a green head. At first, they were surprised by the “morals of modern youth”, however, looking closer, they realized that it was not painted of their own free will. In general, blondes, take care of your hair. I am glad that the "green" is washed off over time.

About service. To our untrained eye, the service is even very good. This is partly due to the peculiarities of the Thais, they are very friendly, smiling, good-natured, but at the same time a little lazy. If you need to do something, do not worry, everything will be done, but not immediately. However, unlike Arabs and Turks, there is no rudeness in Thais. They do not understand Russian, but English is quite tolerable. The main thing is not to shout and talk calmly.
About nutrition. European breakfasts with a "flavor" of Thailand. Everything is tasty enough. Among the shortcomings: few fruits (watermelons, pineapples and sometimes papaya or bananas) and no sweets (except for some buns without filling).
About the rest. We will not write anything. There is a lot of information about Thailand and Pattaya, so we will not repeat ourselves.
In general, the impressions of the hotel are good. We recommend it to everyone, with the exception of couples with children who prefer not to leave the hotel anywhere and spend the whole holiday by the pool.
And don't believe the negative reviews. There were people in the hotel who come to this hotel not for the first and not the second time, and they are very satisfied with it. Moreover, they have something to compare with, since they are “experienced Pattaya tourists” and have been to many hotels in Pattaya.
