I'll start from the beginning, we arrived at the hotel at 1 am on March 18.2011, we were given the keys to room 1301, it ended up in another building, I went to the reception to sort it out, they said that there are currently no rooms in the Main Building, they promised to move to the next one day, when asked why they didn’t immediately warn them, they shrugged their hands, they say they don’t understand. They don’t speak Russian at all, some of them speak English only partially, they communicated mainly with gestures. the next day, all the same, they moved to the main building No. 7020, the room turned out to be almost the same, only away from Jomtien Road, and the view was better, only it turned out that the door to the balcony did not open, it took another day to fix it. Of course, a trifle, but the mood and impression of this hotel immediately deteriorated. I want to warn those who travel to Pattaya - at first you need to get used to the stench of the sewerage that goes under the road, next to the beach, as well as the smell of cooking - it is cooked everywhere, especially in the macaroons that drive along the roads. The week is not getting used. I never got used to the local food, although I ate everywhere, including on the beach. The products are all fresh, but everything is very spicy, even if you ask without spices, it's still spicy. Then he spat and went to Russian restaurants. The cost in Russian restaurants, which is about the same in Thai - with beer and juice, for three will cost from 700 to 1000 baht - this is in the Jomtien area. In the center you can eat much cheaper - you can buy a portion for 50 baht, but you won’t go there every time - we went in the evenings, went to shops, there is a lot of shopping, and there is a choice too, especially when it comes to children’s clothes, put on trousers like that and did not pick up - all small. I advise stores - Lotus, BigS - a bottle of beer 0.6 - 42 baht, rum 0.7 - 202 baht. Things from 100 baht. As for the Pegasus - it sucks. For them, the main thing is to enjoy their excursions, which are almost 2 times more expensive than on the street. . Their guides do not care about the problems of tourists, they are still offended that they were disturbed. Our guide was Alexander. We bought tickets for excursions at "Captain Vrungel" - special thanks to them, they have a good attitude, they speak Russian, they make discounts. We went to Kwai for 2.700 baht, half for a child. We also took vouchers for fishing, to Nong Nooch, Crocodile Farm. I liked everything very much, especially on Kwai, the guide was Russian - Andrey, talked about Thailand all the way, without shutting up - I liked it very much - I recommend going with this guide. In general, they liked Thailand, except for some nuances - the weather was not very good, it rained for 5 days, not all the time, of course, 3 hours a day, at lunchtime, it was also cloudy, but it might be for the better - they didn’t burn out, the sun is cruel , took ointment 50 factor. This is especially true if you go to the islands - we went to Koh Lan on our own, first on the Tuk, then on the port, on the island we also boarded the Tuk and drove to the 3rd beach - it costs 30 baht, sun loungers on the beach also cost 30 baht. Lunch can be ordered directly to the beach, a little expensive, but it's worth it - seafood, Mai Tai - everything is amazing. The last ferry leaves the island at 18:00. The sea near the hotel is dirty, but you can swim, sunbeds also cost 30 baht per person. On the first night, local insects bit, but then they didn’t bite anymore, they probably tasted new ones, and this happened not only with us, but also with other subsequent tourists. Jellyfish bite in the sea, not fatal of course, but unpleasant, especially there are small ones that are not visible, they bite all over the body at once, the feeling is as if electricity (weak) is passed through you, like in physiotherapy. The hotel pools are lovely, my daughter did not climb out of them, she did not want to go to the sea. Massage is done on site - I liked it - the cost is 300 baht (oil), you can for 200 simple. The hotel has Wi-Fi - it costs 100 baht for 2 hours, the speed is not very good. For those who eat for the first time - if you ride a Tuka, you need to silently climb in, if you start asking, he will think that you take it as a taxi and only you will be lucky, but the cost will be different, it costs 10 baht. Traffic in the center on tuk is unpredictable, they can ride as they please, so it's better to go straight - to Jomtien - there is a place on Second Road from where they leave. There are no problems from Jomtien, everyone goes to the center, where you need to get off - call, stop, then go to the driver - he has a calculation. Humidity was high, things dried for a very long time, we thought it was only in our hotel, but it turned out that in others too. As I said, the weather was unlucky. As for fruit, there are no problems, they sell it everywhere and in a large assortment, I probably tried everything, even Durian - I don’t advise it, the stench from it is terrible, you can buy chips from it. I especially liked the mango, you can buy for 50 baht. 1 kg (3 pcs). We did not buy watermelons and pineapples, they were given every morning at the hotel, they were also very tasty. Shrimps on the beach cost 100 baht for 10 pieces. , but they cook everything without salt, so you need to take spices from them - reddish in color, similar to adjika - very tasty. Bargain everywhere, the price can be reduced by 2 times, or even more, I bought myself a denim twist for 199 baht. Yes, Pegasus also gave a surprise on leaving the hotel, he provided information about the departure at the reception 2 hours before departure, and after 1 hour. rescheduled the check-out time for another 2 hours - it was not fun to lose time while in the room, and not at the sea or swimming in the pool.
