When choosing, I perfectly understood that we would not spend much time at the hotel, but nevertheless, we wanted something more or less decent and comfortable accommodation. For the next holiday in Pattaya, we chose the Sea Breeze hotel. The reviews are conflicting, but after monitoring the ratings and the cost, we decided that this is a good option for a triple and the location is good. The hand trembled, and we bought a tour. And honestly, the hotel left a pleasant impression, despite the shortcomings.
The first minus is a deposit of 1000 baht upon check-in, and it must be left exactly in baht. Well, if you arrive between 10 and 10, there will be an opportunity to go to the exchange office, it is not far from the hotel. But, if the settlement is expected at another time, it is better to change money (50 or 100 bucks) at the airport (although the exchange rate is not profitable).
Plus, on account of the deposit, you can order drinks and food at the hotel bar, that is, you don’t have to think about where I will put 1000 baht on the day of departure. There is duty free at Bangkok airport (you can buy something).

Check-in: many formalities were not required, the paperwork was filled out quickly, we received a receipt for the deposit, the room was already ready (we arrived at 15:00). 1 key and coupons for breakfast are issued. The room, if memory serves 2225, is located on the second floor of building B. In the hotel: the main building (where the reception and the breakfast restaurant are located), as well as buildings A and B. B - standards. There are three floors in building B. There is an elevator.
The room is spacious. What I liked: a clean shower room, fresh cosmetic repairs and clean tiles, no hint of mold, there are such unscrupulous hotels in Thailand, alas. The water must first be drained so that it is warm. Which way is hot, which is cold is not indicated, but five minutes of training and you're done.
It’s bad that only 1 large towel is allocated for each, there are no face towels (but, if it’s important, you can buy it here later, I don’t see the point in taking it). Bath accessories, as elsewhere in threes. Everything seems to be fine, but then, we found that it was leaking under the sink (it wasn’t leaking much, so we decided to just substitute a garbage bin with a plastic bag there). In the hope that the maid would notice and call the plumber, honestly, we just didn’t want to bother about it.
The room has a large balcony, but there is no clothes dryer, no chairs on the balcony, and... the floors are not washed there, so your heels will instantly turn gray. There is no ashtray on the balcony, a view of the neighboring thickets - on the one hand, it’s good, there are no prying eyes, on the other hand, don’t leave the balcony door open, let in mosquitoes. You will have a sea view if you book a delax in the main building. The air conditioner on the balcony is noisy and old.
The cleanliness of the room (namely the room, because there are no questions about the bathroom) is three, the floors are not very clean, a cobweb hung behind the TV. What I liked was that the beach towels were in the room (no need to go after them, write them down), took it and went.
Towels are clean, beach towels are satisfactory, slightly washed (dirty orange). The room has free water and a paid bar (chips, nuts), we did not touch anything.

Internet - only at the reception, in the room does not catch, it's bad. You don’t always want to go to another building, the mobile Thai Internet can solve the problem. The hotel has Russian channels, though there was not much time to watch and desire too).
Audibility in the room - there is such a thing, the walls are thin, you'll be lucky if the neighbors are calm. Moreover, the connection number was. You can hear from behind the door and how they walk along the corridor and the music from the pool bar, sometimes it was turned on very loudly.
Safe - it is not in the room, you have to go to the reception, documents and money were left at the reception. The camera and the tablet were kept in a suitcase with a combination lock, because, alas, I read that the maids can clean up everything that is badly in their hands.
There is no hair dryer in the room, you can take your own, it's more convenient than taking every time at the reception. Also, a thermos is given at the reception, there is hot water in the boiler. Breakfasts are very good, pastries, hot, cutting vegetables, rice, eggs, sausages, tea, coffee. As an everywhere. They never left hungry, they ate for hours until 4 in the afternoon. Fine for taking food out of the restaurant (500 baht), warning label.
The room has a "living area", that is, two armchairs and a table. So you can eat in your room. Often they took food at the night market, ate either right at the market at the tables or went to the beach, when they were very tired, they took it to the room. Just take out all the food waste immediately, otherwise you will attract ants! Alcohol was bought in Seven stores (rest - you can relax a little). Basically - rum and beer, there are carbonated wine drinks, cocktails. There is truth and vodka, whiskey, wine - but a little expensive. There are many cafes along the embankment, they are more expensive than in the market, but the service and presentation are different.
The hotel has a cafe, not cheap. Average bill 500 baht without alcohol. Although the service is good, the portions are large. There is also ice cream, drinks, pizza. There are happy hours: two drinks for the price of one.

The bar is located near the pool, all in the hotel there are two pools. Both are good. Surrounded by greenery, there are swings, sunbeds around. You can’t go to the pool with your own food and drinks, but you can go to the hotel room, so the real food begins around. Then they would have forbidden to eat at the pool at all.
There are many Russians in the hotel, fewer Asians. Met, sorry for my French, "tagil" - the Thais walked and looked askance at them, the Russians made a drinking bout in the gazebo by the small pool. It is clear why they do not smile at us now, we behave like a herd.
The hotel has a massage parlor, there is a queue right there, but to be honest, massage is not much different from other salons, the same thing. I didn't get into it. Unless you have nowhere to go.
Some write that the staff is rude, nothing like that, we did not meet any negativity. The girls at the front desk are amazing. You are not in Rixos or Sheraton, so that you bow at your feet, you come to the budget three, they will not lick you here.
In general, the atmosphere in the hotel is conducive to relaxation. Jomtien area is good. I liked the long beach, many shops, the movement is calmer than in the center. The beach is average, household garbage is found. The sea is across the road from the hotel. Sunbeds are paid, you can sit on your own towels or bedding. Swimming areas are fenced with buoys, as there are many motor boats and scooters. The sea is cleaner on the islands. And the outer islands are a paradise.
We went to the island of Koh Chang, were on Samet and rode a lot on other excursions.
I advise you not to sit in Pattaya, but to drive, drive and drive, the only way to understand Thailand as a whole, Pattaya is very different from other cities and the city sea, and the landscapes cannot be compared with the atmosphere of the island. For 10 days, we visited 6 excursions, two of which took two days. It was an unforgettable experience. We returned to the hotel tired, without hind legs, but there were a lot of emotions and impressions.
