I went to Thailand for the first time. I traveled with my mother, so I was looking for a hotel not in a noisy place and closer to a clean beach. After studying a lot of reviews, I realized that one of the "non-dirty" beaches in Pattaya is Jomtien. The hotel was chosen based on the price-quality ratio. Immediately looked at hotels at the level of three stars. After studying the reviews, I concluded that the most suitable hotel for us is Hill Fresco. This is one of the few hotels that had 3 stars and very good reviews. The check-in went without problems: we arrived at about one o'clock in the afternoon local time, settled immediately, did not take a deposit, all things were brought directly to the room. The hotel employee showed me how to turn on the lights, use the safe and use the air conditioner. The room had a balcony with a small bench that overlooked the hotel pool and the tallest building in Pattaya - the tower of the Pattaya Park Hotel. Things in Thailand dry for a very long time, so the balcony helped us out a lot. The hotel has good breakfasts: almost every time the same thing, but the choice is not small, so each time you can choose something that you have not tried yet. About 10 minutes walk to the beach. Near the hotel there is a "Russian" market, about 5-7 minutes at a leisurely pace. The day after our arrival, my mother and I mastered the entire nearby territory: we reached the beach, noticed useful supermarkets, found a pharmacy, travel agencies that sold excursions in Thailand, cafes, massage parlors - everything is within walking distance. The only tiny drawback was that there was no wi-fi in the room, but we didn’t come to Thailand to surf the Internet, so it didn’t cause much trouble, if necessary, we went down to the hall, where everything worked fine. At the same time, a guest from the neighboring building of the same hotel said that he had wi-fi in his room. By the way, we lived in a new hotel building - this is the left wing, the hotel itself is now located with the letter "P". Room service is daily, it includes the change of water bottles (by the way, water is in glass bottles, you can’t throw them away, you need to leave them in the room), change of towels. Bed linen was changed every 3 days. The floor was washed very badly, we washed it, but there wasn’t much dirt from us, so it didn’t really make it difficult for us, it only surprised us : ) There were no insects in the room at all. In general, the hotel is excellent, despite the small comments, I will be happy to return there again.
