In general, the hotel suited me, although it has its pros and cons.
The main plus is the location in the very center of the city, here everything is concentrated within walking distance. The whole nightlife of Pattaya boils in the center. She just wanted to see it. There are many shops, massage parlors, currency exchange offices nearby, 5 minutes to the beach. Although Central Pattaya Beach is considered dirty, we took a dip there a couple of times. Tuk-tuks run next to the hotel. The fare is 10 baht per person, they go until late. The hotel is located on the second line. This is a one-way street. To get to the pier and Walking Street, you need to go down to the beach street to the sea.
The hotel building is capital. The interior used stone, wood, mirrors. The main disadvantage is that there has not been a repair for a long time. There are leaks on the walls. And also it would be time to remove the already smoldering carpet. At the reception we were greeted with a smile. The lobby is large and air conditioned. With seating area. There is also a restaurant on the first floor, we had breakfast included.

I can’t say that the breakfasts are rich, but you won’t leave with a headache either. My husband lacked meat dishes. Sausages were served, as well as Thai dishes with meat and vegetables (meat in thin slices, everything else was onions, carrots and other vegetables). There are three types of fruits: watermelon, pineapple and dragon's eye. An omelet with various additives is fried on the open terrace of the restaurant.
What pleased me was the spacious room overlooking the sea. We lived on the 11th floor, booked a superior room. Spacious, bright, with a stunning view from the window. The room has a rather noisy air conditioner, a mini-bar, TV, telephone, hair dryer, safe, and a small kettle. Comfortable bed, wardrobe and dressing table.
Not very satisfied with the quality and condition of the plumbing. Stains in the bathroom, on the tiles. The hot water in the bathroom was never hot, barely warm. Although in this hot climate this is enough. Cleaning in the room is lousy. Already upon arrival, we noticed small debris on the carpet, dust on the shelves.
But these minuses did not spoil our vacation, because the trip we had was very eventful. Since we went to Pattaya for the first time, we prepared for the rest in advance. In organizing excursions, we turned to the local company Nika Travel, which was recommended to me as a responsible company with good prices. We did not consider the operator, we already had experience when we bought at the hotel from the guide on the first day, then it turned out that we overpaid a fairly large amount, we went for 40 people, which is very inconvenient!
In terms of the excursion program, I really liked Pattaya, due to lack of time, we visited only a small part of the excursions. In awe of the River Kwai, Khao Kheo Zoo, Koh Samet, Bangkok.
Koh Samet has conquered me. We were taken to a cozy beach where we could sit on sun loungers. Here on the beach there is a bar and a restaurant overlooking the sea. But we didn't stop at just one beach. The guide will give us a map, told us what else is worth visiting on the island. We rented a motorbike (400 baht). There is no such movement as in Pattaya and rights are not needed. And we went to the beaches. We traveled the whole island, saw many beaches, viewing platforms, a temple, a port, and a jungle. It has soft white sand and warm blue sea.

In Bangkok, we did not visit the Royal Palace, because it was closed for a period of mourning, but instead it was in another temple. I liked the city. Huge, a lot of concrete, large tiger centers, poor quarters along the canals, and, of course, richly decorated temples.
I recommend Khao Kheo to everyone. This is a sea of positive from communicating with animals. I saw that same bear cat - binturong.
The most intense program for me was a trip to Kwai. The road, of course, is long, but the night spent on the river in the jungle is worth it. The nature there is amazing and quiet, only the noise and the flow of the river are heard. We got right after the rainy season, so there was a lot of water in the waterfalls. They say that in the spring they almost dry up.
So the emotions on our trip were brought by excursions, not by the hotel. My conclusion is that in Pattaya an inexpensive triple is enough to stay overnight and leave things. 10 days is very short for such a country, I would stay for a month!
