Feeding is bad - this is the first thing that caught my eye. During the 12 days of the hotel stay, the breakfast menu changed once, when cherry tomatoes were taken out instead of regular tomatoes. In addition, what should be served hot (an omelette, for example) is served cold and cannot be eaten. I don’t recommend drinking juices and coffee with a terrible look and taste: it doesn’t take long to get drunk. Better to just drink water.
The hotel is on the second line. To the beach to stomp, probably 5-7 minutes through residential areas. And if the hotel gives you a towel for free, then you have to pay for a sun lounger. On the beach, an extremely intrusive service: the sale of ice cream, alcohol, soft drinks, the offer of massage services. The sea in the center is definitely dirty. You have to be either very brave or very drunk to climb into such water at all. But I didn’t even go to Pattaya at all to eat and sunbathe, so these minor shortcomings of the hotel are more than offset by its main advantage: the hotel is located almost in the city center (almost the intersection of Central and Second Streets). if you go north, in 5 minutes you will be near the Alkazar Show (it is much easier and cheaper to get there on your own, and not buy a ticket from a guide), and in another 3 minutes you will be Big C (this shopping center, of course, is smaller than the one of the same name in Bangkok, but it's worth going there for shopping).
Now about the south direction from the hotel. If you go against the traffic of the car without crossing the street, after 10 minutes at a leisurely pace there will be a restaurant (I don’t remember the name), where for 180 baht you can have a very good dinner (4 types of meat, a lot of vegetables, fruits, 10-15 types of side dishes). Opposite the restaurant - on the other side of the street is the Mike Shopping Mall. This is where the real expanse for lovers of shopping. I bought a bunch of everything there that I still wear for absolutely ridiculous money (well, for example, I bought shorts for 100 baht). In front of Mike there is a big fruit bazaar (take everything, where else you can try lychee or rambutan). A little further south - Royal Garden Plaza with the entertainment department of Ripley's (tip to everyone: be sure to go - the fear room and the labyrinth are some kind of special sensations). In Plaze, purchases are very expensive, the same can be bought in a 24-hour market opposite 3-4 times cheaper. And right after the Plaza, Walking Street begins. And there you just need to break away (a bunch of bars, discos, interesting places for men, non-standard shops where you can order souvenirs).

Summing up all of the above, I can say: Caesar Palace is the best option for those who return to the hotel only to wash, change and sleep a little (because you still won’t be able to sleep well in Pattaya)
