Hotel. I chose for a long time based on reviews on several sites. I think that I did not miss. Very convenient location6 at the intersection of all paths. It is convenient to get to many attractions, all tuktuks going to the center from Jomtien pass by the hotel, and the landmark is the golden dragon at the crossroads, behind which the hotel is located. This is important if you will explain by phone where to send the car or order excursions from locals. There are 3 hotels in Patai with the first word Ayari, they are in different parts of the city and can confuse and come for you to the wrong place, and everyone knows the golden dragon in Jomtien. It will also be our guide to find the main important tourist sites.
About the hotel rooms: take either a deluxe suite or, like us, Junior Suites, quite normal rooms with balconies and views of the pool in the courtyard. Everything else in the neighboring building without a balcony and small, with poor soundproofing and noisy Chinese in the morning. We were sent there before settling to rest until our room was cleaned, after the late departure of the previous tenant. In junior we had a microwave oven and a refrigerator and two TVs, and the room itself is spacious. I'll attach pictures later. The room was on the third floor 303. Normal staff leave 20 baht or we still left our chocolates: Alenka, Inspiration, etc. Cleaned up regularly. Smile yourself, say Savadi kap (husband) or Savadi kaaaa (women) in the morning and they will smile at you! We considered breakfasts to be sufficient: two types of sausages, eggs, scrambled eggs, two types of rice, boiled vegetables, tea, coffee, always pineapples and watermelons. If you run out, tell the boys at the entrance and they will swoop in and bring you everything. The pool is not big, but with two jacuzzis. One is in the gazebo which is at the beginning of the pool, and the second is on the port side if you look at the gazebo. You can turn them on yourself, the switches are located on the left in the far corner on the wall at the entrance to the women's toilet, near the pool. Double side jacuzzi switch, single in gazebo. The switches are covered with a transparent film, so as not to be shocked by the current. Around the hotel in the evening makashnitsa gather, on the corner near the Golden Dragon there is a supermarket. Full of cafes of different levels and prices. And we liked the nondescript Thai cafe located at the right (if you stand facing the administrator at the reception) exit. It doesn't look like much, but there are large portions and classic Thai dishes and their own homemade rum whiskey. The Thais themselves, on tops, go there to have a bite to eat and rip off a stack or two. They cook deliciously, although there is a pompous (by Thai standards) Russian-European-Thai cafe. There are no food issues.

Just before reaching the exchanger is a good shop with leather goods. SALE 60-70% is written on the doors. In Vovan's shop it may be a little cheaper, but the models are all monotonous and not interesting.

We cross the road to the right of the Golden Dragon (REMEMBER LEFT SIDE AND LOOK RIGHT FIRST !!! ) and go right 50-80 meters and turn into the first left lane, pass 200 meters past the bar with the "blue" ones, followed by the bar with transvestites (such there are specifics there) and immediately a sign on which below in Russian "Institute for the Massage of the Blind". You can sign up in advance or who will be free, choose by the number of massage therapists, we liked Nos. 17.27, 18.7.
A fruit market with an area of ​ ​ macaroons and clothing tents. We stand with our backs to the Golden Dragon and go left along the road for 300-400 meters and right there on the left is this market and a square with food.
The large night market (clothes, glasses, watches, lots of souvenirs, shoes) is easily accessible from Friday to Sunday. From the dragon we go already to the right to the first large intersection of 400-500 meters and a large street will go to the right. We cross it and we pass 50 meters along it and wait for a tuk-tuk, and we go for 10 baht until rows with collapsible tents appear on the other side.
Excursions. because we were interested in the beaches in the second place, the rest was devoted to getting to know the country.
