But in the rooms there is only Thai TV, slippers and bathrobes, which they list are worn and dirty, there are a lot of mosquitoes, there are no nets and this is not the most important thing. We are at the hotel within 5 minutes. The phone was stolen by one of the employees. They turned to the staff, to the manager to find or call the tourist police, to take some action, but they reacted with indifference, did not want to call the police, did not want to show the recording from the video camera, did not even try to help for appearances. And the next day, all these characters and others stopped greeting us. Not to mention that they would at least apologize for what happened on the territory of their hotel. Be careful with your belongings, if you lose, you will never find them!

There are enough sun loungers. There are no entertainment facilities (except for live music in the evening), but the neighborhood is full. Recommended for families and with children. The staff is friendly.

Not far from the hotel there are a lot of places where you can have a good rest.
A hotel for all ages.

Now we decided to rest on Koh Samui. Rested 3 families with children. We booked a hotel, all transfers through Ivan Susanin, a Thai tour operator. As always, everything is clear. We were met at the airport, taken to the hotel, helped with the check-in. We booked rooms in a building with a sea view and got them. We lived on the third floor, a very beautiful view from the balcony to the territory and the sea. The rooms are spacious, large bed, for a 13 year old child an euro cot, and a 3 year old baby slept with us. Also in the room are bathrobes, slippers, a hairdryer, bath and laundry accessories, a beach bag, umbrellas, tea and coffee supplies replenished every day, a free safe, a minibar. Large flat TV and DVD. Life was very comfortable. The weather was different and it rained and the sun, it was cloudy for several days, which was even for the better, they did not burn out, they calmly sunbathed and spent a lot of time on the beach. The sea is calm, the bottom is clean, without stones. I liked the bar near the pool, delicious cocktails, especially Margarita. On the beach next to our hotel there was always a woman with fruit. We ordered what kind of fruit we liked, she peeled them, cut them into pieces and brought them to the sunbeds. Of course it's paid. But very tasty. Another woman came and made green papaya salad with nuts right on the beach. We often took For some reason, they didn’t make such a salad in cafes. We took several excursions, the sightseeing tour was free (snake farm, tea shop, jewelry store), swam to the islands, and took an excursion that included grandparents' stones, an ancient temple, an elephant village, where there was an elephant show, then another crocodiles, and told how extract coconut milk, with a demonstration performance of a monkey. At the final stage, we were taken to the Magic Garden and to the observation deck, from where the whole island was visible. I liked everything very much. The island is very beautiful, lush tropical greenery, friendly Thais, gentle sea. What else do you need for a comfortable stay? We will definitely return to Thailand. After all, how many islands are left unexplored!

we read a review on turpravda, laughed about free water - there is nothing free, looked at the pictures and decided to go to Koh Samui again - it became impossible to swim in the sea in Pattaya - very sewer water (there were last year) by the way, if you go to Pattaya, then the best hotels in my opinion - Aisavan and Royal hotels (3-5 stars) there the air is cleaner and the sea is a little cleaner and there are no such low tides as in the center. … More ▾ we read a review on turpravda, laughed about free water - there is nothing free, looked at the pictures and decided to go to Koh Samui again - it became impossible to swim in the sea in Pattaya - very sewer water (there were last year) by the way, if you go to Pattaya, then the best hotels in my opinion - Aisavan and Royal hotels (3-5 stars) there the air is cleaner and the sea is a little cleaner and there are no such low tides as in the center.

It used to be good on Koh Samui (we rested on Chaweng). took the hotel Jasmine resort. they gave it to us as 4 stars, but it doesn’t pull. Very small, cozy area with 1 building on 3 floors, and two rows of bungalows, in one bungalow 2 rooms. The area is very green and beautiful. There is no lift in the 3 storey building. when we checked in, there were no male porters and a fragile taika girl grabbed our suitcases and began to shove them upstairs - of course we couldn’t stand it and my husband with a sore spine and I carried my suitcases to the 3rd floor. We thought we were going to die.
Breakfast is very monotonous and there is no choice. cruel economy - sweets are not always eaten, vegetables quickly run out, sweets and you have to DEMAND that they bring MORE. soups are disgusting, not even mashed potatoes, but cream soup, every other day tomato and milk with mushrooms. fruit, more or less.

there are enough sun loungers, you have to borrow early, if impudent Germans come, they take places near the pool and on the beach and run to take them at 7-8 in the morning, and come to sunbathe at 10-11 o'clock. but it was 3 days. beach workers need to be shoved in order to do something, not to sniff themselves.

The room has a tea set (we have a teapot all the time, there was a puddle on the table to change for 12 days could not be interrogated). often the maids "forget" to put tea or coffee, or both, but after contacting the reception, they bring it. sometimes they turn off the light during the day from 10 to 16, i. e. the air conditioner does not work. the deluxe room itself is ok.
not very big, but there is a shower and a bathroom, and there is a large window from the bathroom to the room and lying in the bathroom you can look at the sea with an open balcony (through the balcony grill). or lying on the bed to watch someone do something in the bathroom, though the curtain on the window can be pushed back.

on the balcony there are lattices on neighboring balconies, that is, when you sit and do something on your balcony, the neighbors look at you, the door to the bathroom is glass. and in general, the impression that the hotel's slogan is "nothing personal, everything is public. "

the room has a safe, mini-bar, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobe. there are no Russian-language TV channels and generally few news channels - (good rest), the most unpleasant thing is that we were unlucky - the sea was very dirty for 10 days. in general, the sea on Koh Samui is heavily polluted. (we were last there 2 years ago). Near the hotel and neighboring hotels, the currents are opposite. and all the garbage is nailed to the beach of the hotel, but you can swim through 3 hotels in any direction (if not too lazy to walk).
yes, about the Lamai area - if you want a lot of noise, din and a lot of people, then you should go to Chaweng. Lamai is a quiet area. you can eat in a bunch of zucchini without waiting for empty seats and a little cheaper and souvenirs are also cheaper, there is no pandemonium, the same boxing fights as in Chaweng, crocodile farms, monkey farms, a butterfly garden, an aquarium, "grandmother and grandfather" closer. although shops are closer from Chaweng, in particular TESCO - "lotus" (We buy boiled shrimp there).

in general, an ambiguous impression of the hotel - an interesting room, a beautiful area, a dirty sea, food for 2 stars, the staff must be forced to work all the time, they themselves are lazy. but this is specific to Thailand and the islands.

but in general, rest is always super and you need to remember the good, not the bad.
nearby was the Pavilon resort hotel and something with boutiques there is still in the name - we looked there - the hotel is good, it seems to be pulling for 4. , but in general Thailand has risen in price both food and taxis and in general their standard of living has risen.
Soon it will be more profitable to travel to the Dominican Republic, although Thailand is a diagnosis.
