We have been to paradise. The island is wonderful for a quiet, relaxing family vacation, beautiful beaches, clear sea and sand, sun and palm trees. The hotel is located in the Chaweng area. Nearby, a beautiful beach and there are always free sun loungers, you can choose a place in the open sun or in the shade of tropical trees and palms.

Nearby, a beautiful beach and there are always free sun loungers, you can choose a place in the open sun or in the shade of tropical trees and palms. The sea is clean, many different exotic brightly colored fish frolic in clear water. To the left of the beach is a rocky island, where it is very interesting to dive in a mask, a riot of colors of the underwater tropical world in all its glory. The hotel has its own large swimming pool. restaurant. Enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant. The buffet is very diverse, the choice for every taste - vegetable, meat dishes, fruits, juices. Everything was delicious. Deluxe rooms are located in the main building of the hotel. A standard set of furniture: wardrobes in the hallway, two beds in the room - a large double bed and one and a half, two armchairs and a table, a TV and a refrigerator, in general it is cozy and spacious. Very pleased with the large balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The linen was changed every day, the only drawback was that they forgot to leave clean towels twice, I had to contact the administrator, fortunately she quickly solved the problem. Recreation was not limited to the beach. There is a lot to see on Koh Samui. Were on a sightseeing tour of the island, jeep safari, the Magic Garden, the temple complexes, the show of elephants, snakes, crocodiles. We went sea fishing on a boat. We rented a mokik and traveled almost the entire island on it. I liked going to massage parlors, not expensive and quite effective. Chaweng shopping street starts next to the hotel. many shops, restaurants. You can get to any point of the island by taxi or Tuk-tuk, in a maximum of half an hour. On April 13-14-15, Thailand celebrated the New Year, on the streets people have fun and pour water on each other, very funny! Didn't have to be bored!

rested with my daughter (14 years old), sister and nephew (21 years old) we started preparing for the trip half a year in advance, developed different routes: Phuket, Pattaya-Samet, stopped on Koh Samui - colleagues highly recommended, by the way, the hotel was also chosen on the recommendation. The hotel is three stars.

The hotel is three stars. small, compact. the whole territory consists of a small pool surrounded by greenery. The furniture in the hotels is old, but they clean it every day and the linen is changed every day too, which is nice (although towels are often with holes). Expected more, the rest was boring.
The sea and the beach are not in competition, there is something to compare with: Hainan, Egypt, Pattaya, but the town itself, or rather a large village, leaves much to be desired.
I would recommend a holiday on Koh Samui and in particular in this hotel for those who have small children (the beach and the completely safe sea have this). But in the evenings it was boring, even with daily visits to massage parlors.

We traveled in March 2008. We flew from Moscow with a change in Bangkok. We arrived on the island late in the evening, but the hotel met us just wonderfully, all in lights and staff in smiles. We had a superior room, the room itself is just lovely, but there are no windows, the balcony overlooks the balcony of another room in a nearby building, 6 air conditioners that buzz continuously will buzz day and night, in short, we exchanged this room for a deluxe room with a surcharge $ 130 for 11 nights, and then just a fairy tale began.

We were in Thailand for the first time, maybe there are better hotels of course ....First House loved it! The main thing is not to take a standard number !! ! We had a standard, we changed it on the spot for a small surcharge to a deluxe, and the holiday went back on track! Let's start with the standard..

Let's start with the standard...The room in the nutria, in general, is not so bad, it has two huge minuses, there is practically no view from the window and the noise of radiators from air conditioners located under the windows, and there are no balconies yet !! ! The deluxe is ok. the room is large, quiet, view from the window to the pool, a large balcony with comfortable chairs. The service is good, the food is also normal, in the morning there is a buffet, everyone will find what he likes for himself, you can take an omelette, they will fry it right away for you! In general, everything is quiet and comfortable!
The beach, in my opinion, is the best in all of Chaweng, palm trees, sand, common with First Bungalow, is located in a small bay, there are not large rocks (stones) for those who like to snorkel, a beautiful bottom and wildlife ( fish, corals, crabs). From the hotel, walk along the bridge over the river and already on the beach, 30 meters from the hotel! To the main street, Chaweng, it’s a bit far on foot, 15-20 minutes ...but this is not a problem, you will still rent a motorbike, without it you won’t see all the delights of the island, life from the inside and from the outside, and their minibuses run back and forth continuously, they even have something like a terminal on the territory of First House and First Bungalow.
In general, value for money, it is better not to think of! Thai people are very hospitable and friendly, the main thing is that everything stays that way (and this largely depends on us vacationers).
Vladimir.

The deluxe rooms on the 2nd floor are great. In short, everything is known in the price-quality ratio. For those 55 bucks a day that this hotel cost at the end of 2006, it's a little pointless to demand nirvana and eternal buzz. Of course, this is not a Hilton, but you don’t pay attention to minor flaws such as the lack of a kettle for this money, and I didn’t notice any larger ones.

View from the window to the pool where my daughter splashed in the evenings. Breakfast. . . well, what do you want from 3 stars?? ? Everything is edible, if you wish, you can change the diet like sedna dairy meat tomorrow, at least 4k is better in Turkey : )
The beach. . . without comments, the very place where you understand that there is still a paradise on earth : ) I loved to wallow in the shade of palm trees on a snow-white sand : ) And how cool it was to walk barefoot along the beach in the evening to restaurants for impiana, take grilled sea bass and beer there : ) Oh, I remembered! The only drawback is that I only caught wifi on the edge of the balcony : ) And since I also tried to work, it was not always convenient : ) The hotel located next to the fest is better... but also more expensive... and every hundred on the account overpay for the pool is more beautiful IMHO Pontus no. Really, after a week we went to Phuket to visit friends... Phuket has a shorter rest... Koh Samui is a fairy tale !!! !
