We have just returned from a holiday on the island. Koh Samui (17.09. 2011-27.09. 2011). We rested at the Aloha 3 * hotel (Lamai beach). I really liked it, especially since there is something to compare with. The hotel is located in a very convenient location by all standards. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The territory of the hotel is very well-organized, a lot of greenery. Pool with the purest, regularly cleaned water. The sunbeds are conveniently located on the territory of the hotel by the pool, the three-level arrangement is very convenient, because the farthest ones are located almost by the sea. From the hotel to the beach 10m. The sandy strip of the beach is not wide (10-15 meters), but very clean. We walked through the beaches of other hotels - our beach is the best and cleanest! The sea is clean, warm, the bottom is sandy. On the shore you will be offered various entertainments: massage, launching fire balloons, riding jet skis (all for a fee). But the hotel also has its own good massage spa. The hotel staff is very hospitable, kind (if it treats everything humanly). The hotel provides daily change of bedding and towels. We lived in a separate bungalow, this gives its advantages over rooms. Yes, not new furniture, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. We were there only at night and that was enough. The room does not have a hairdryer, a kettle, but everything can be taken at the reception. We had a separate exit to the territory and the opportunity to admire the beauties of the inner park at any time of the day. On the veranda there is a table and chairs, a clothes dryer. The pool 2 meters from the bungalow is also great! Yes, another advantage that we did not notice on the beaches of other hotels (even more expensive ones, and we looked at a lot of them) is a fresh water shower for washing the body after salty sea water and sand. Therefore, the hotel is always clean, no sand. And the paths in the hotel are washed daily with a special machine with detergents! (personally seen). Breakfast at the hotel - buffet. I won’t say that it is replete with dishes, but what they offer is quite enough for breakfast (although if someone is going just to eat, look for a cooler hotel). Breakfast is served on the open veranda with a magnificent view of the sea. The whole hotel is designed in Thai style, it's very cool. Many small pools with fish, turtles and other animals. Our bungalow also had such pools. It is home to goldfish and a large sea turtle. The spectacle is unforgettable. They allowed themselves to be fed and even stroked (turtle). During our stay, the hotel was being renovated (partially) for the beach season. But we didn't even notice it. Mostly cosmetic repairs were carried out. So future visitors will be very pleased to spend their holidays in renovated rooms. The hotel itself is 3 floors. The photos that we will provide are taken mainly from the third floor (there was just a renovation). For 3 * this hotel pulls 100%. But if you do not want to relax at sea, go on excursions and admire the beauties of the island, then you need to look for another hotel. In general, we really liked it! We are thinking of going back there again!
