Continuation of my trip to Tai, review #2. Honestly, I would not even dare to compare this hotel with 5 stars - it will not be enough. But first things first. Meeting at Krabi airport: the plane landed and we walked to the terminal - a small one, luggage was served in a matter of minutes. At the exit, the driver met Six Senses: there was a 40-minute drive across the mainland, then 15 minutes by boat.

On the boat, we were immediately offered water, fruit, an iPad in order to pass the time : ) But who will waste time on a toy when there is such beauty around? Small islands, large islands, turquoise water. . . my camera hasn't been so overloaded for a long time.
On the pier of the island we were met by the English general manager, our assistant for the next few days and two more people from the staff. Suitcases were quickly transferred to the hotel tuk-tuk and we headed to the villa.
The villa is designed from environmentally friendly materials and it's a pleasure to relax here : ) Every little thing is thought out, up to mosquito repellent, shampoo and conditioner after the sun and a beach bag. I was pleased with the human coffee maker and a separate refrigerator with wine. Great selection of teas, didn't even have time to try them all.
Cleaning is carried out 2 times a day and so that you do not notice the process itself. In the morning, towels miraculously appeared on the sun loungers by the pool, and in the evening they also mysteriously disappeared. Constantly haunted by the feeling of hallucinations : )
For breakfast (as elsewhere! ) Did not get, unfortunately. The food in the restaurant was a little spicy but overall it was fun to try something new. True, the feeling of satiety lasted for two hours. In the evening, a romantic movie is shown in the restaurant and couples of not quite young Englishmen relax. For us, a group of friends who came to celebrate a birthday, it was not very interesting.
Then it turned out that food delivery to the villa only works until 23.00. For a person from our time zone, this is torment. On the first night, all the chips, cookies, chocolates were consumed and a bottle of Khortytsya was drunk. The next evening, they already thought of ordering food on time. Very tasty and very fast. All products are fresh, most of which are grown on the island. If you wish and have the ability to navigate, you can see how the workers take care of the local "garden".
During the day, activities are held for guests: Thai boxing, a Thai language lesson, a Thai cooking master class, yoga, etc. And in general, any wish is fulfilled. I have never seen such a staff anywhere. Everyone greets, asks if everything is in order, calls by name (! ). I understand that this is directly proportional to the cost of living, but still nice.
There are two beaches here. The first one is more suitable for families with children and for swimmers like me: the lagoon is shallow and without any surprises. The second, more “adult”, I found after I got burned on the first one. There were enough sun loungers and towels : ) The workers, seeing that I was completely satisfied with the sun (I’ll call it that), brought aloe vera gel to our villa - it’s just a miracle thing.
For those who are interested in nature, a whole route to the mangrove is thought out. I met a bird there, like in the Rio cartoon, an iguana and many, many other living creatures. There is a small educational eco-center. The kids wouldn't get bored here.
Loved the panoramic bar close to the beach. A little book and a cold cocktail in hand and at least you can sit all day.
A number of excursions are offered, a barbecue in the villa, various spa treatments. There would be a desire, there is time to spend on something. Once we went to Phuket for the whole day for shopping and eating not eco-food, but ordinary burgers. Our assistant competently organized everything, a car with a driver was provided. The road to Phuket takes 40 minutes.
The hotel is an ideal place for a honeymoon or similar family vacation. I saw a couple of Englishmen with a 5-month-old baby : ) I did not meet our compatriots in any of the hotels I visited.
Getting here is easier through Phuket than through Krabi. This is a note to those who are going to visit Six Senses.
Here time stops and it seems that there is no one else on the island. But so many people work day and night to make a simple tourist feel like in paradise. I am grateful that there is such a place on the planet and I have already managed to find it! I dream of returning.
