Squirrels play pranks on the trees right above the heads of those who have breakfast, begging cats climb not only on chairs, sometimes on tables, if you invite them - they only eat sausages! they don't even want an omelet, we managed to find only one old cat who ate an omelet.
Breakfasts are not chic, but you will not stay hungry: sausages, rice or noodles with some kind of sauce with pieces of meat and (or) vegetables, fried potatoes.
Separately, a delicious omelette will be prepared for you with the ingredients that you choose. Cutting vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, peppers, onions. Fruits: watermelon, pineapple - every day; tangerines, mangosteens, dragon's eye, papaya, rambutan-periodically.
Two juices to choose from - orange and guava or water (possible with ice))), as well as tea, coffee, milk.
There are few pastries: croissants, muffins, once there was a banana-type biscuit - yummy ...toasted bread.
Butter, 2 types of jam in miniature plastic boxes.
That's probably the whole breakfast, this is by no means not enough to eat well.
Now housing. We took a bungalow with air conditioning. Air conditioning worked well, not noisy. The room is clean, spacious enough even for 3 people, although the third bed is a folding bed, for the price of 150 bucks per day I would like more comfort. Towels have long worked their way, those that are white are already yellow, often tattered.
Those for the beach are light green, with white, yellow spots. You can ask for bathrobes, although the staff is not in a hurry to fulfill your request, for 2 days they carried us either an extra mug, or a spoon, or a glass, we must constantly remind them that they have not brought you yet.
All bungalows are located in the garden, so to speak, the territory is well-groomed, beautiful. The pool is good, sun loungers are only near the pool. Many couples with small children rest in the hotel, so the pool is not boring, there is always noise, din, laughter.
Food at the hotel, except for breakfast, is a separate issue. Let me tell you right now: Not recommended! I was especially struck by the soup with champignons, for 100 bows (as my husband dubbed baty) they will bring you a completely transparent liquid boiled with bay leaves, and they float there, and at the bottom of a small bowl (bowl) there are a couple of chopped champignons, and it all smells and tastes like boiled bay leaves, but by no means mushroom soup.
The second soup is no less virtuoso than the first, the bowl was half filled with one large leaf of cabbage and a couple of leaves of some kind of greenery, and all this was filled with some kind of incomprehensible taste, or rather tasteless, liquid. It is still not clear how it was necessary to eat that cabbage leaf? This delicacy cost 120 bows.
I don’t remember what was ordered for the second, but I remember for sure that none of us liked the food, although we are not picky. Don't waste your money or time. It is better to go to eat on the eastern beach, they cook very tasty there, though not everywhere either. We really liked a few places, and we went there with pleasure to eat.
And in the end, so as not to seem like a little impression from the hotel, upon check-out we were asked to pay 30 baht for supposedly 1 bottle of drunk water from the minibar.
They explained that we didn’t take their water, that they didn’t deliver the third one to us, the room was designed for 2 people, except for the bed they didn’t deliver anything else, and everything in the minibar was like for two. But I didn’t want to waste my time and nerves, so we paid and with great pleasure moved to another hotel, where the service is at the level, and the girls at the reception are really very pleasant and tried to help us in all matters.
To be continued ...in the following reviews I will describe my impressions of the hotels Bhu Nga Thani Resort And Spa, Four Seasons Place - Pattaya, Sakul House - Bangkok. And also about the impressions of excursions and recreation on Railay.
