Отель на четыре Hotel for four

I never wrote reviews, but sometimes I use it when choosing, so I decided to write for those who choose and read reviews, maybe it will be interesting for you.
In September, we chose the Manathai hotel, we have been looking at this hotel for a long time.
Lots of positive feedback. First the negative:

It looks like it's not the season, it's not the season, so the rains often visited us (every day were short) and the sea was restless from 11 days, three were without a red flag, but I wanted to write about the hotel. It seemed like five stars, but we had to beg for toothbrushes there, since we did not take ours. Dirty beach, bottles, bags, with a tide, it seems that all the garbage in Thailand is collected at this hotel, although we walked two or three kilometers for the sake of interest, we didn’t see this, there is no desire to swim (I know it can only happen in September, but it’s terrible every morning), workers they were in no hurry to clean it up, since with the tide the sea took it all back. Further, the rooms are arranged so that if they smoke in the next room (and you don’t) then you also smoke, I don’t envy if there are noisy Chinese in the neighborhood, consider that you can forget the silence and the sounds of the sea. (I have nothing against this nation, but the fact is that in our case there was no silence). The shuttle is paid 60 baht per person, and then if you have time to apply, otherwise you will reach the center of Kaolak one way for 300 baht. And finally: a trifle, the first days we had to ask the maids to put the tea and coffee in (we thought that we put a little tip, but it seems they just forgot), but then this problem was solved.
Now for the positive. The hotel is of course super, clean, beautiful, the staff is friendly, linen is changed every day, well, cleaning is 4 out of five, but of course we must pay tribute to the breakfasts at their best, a large selection, delicious, here are ten out of ten, no questions.
If there are no dinners included in the tour, there is a cafe nearby on the beach, you can have an inexpensive and tasty dinner. The pool is beautiful, but not very clean, of course there is forest debris at the bottom. We have been to Kaolack more than once, but we expected more from the hotel, the beach and the sea.
Good luck with your choice. According to reviews, I advise you to stay there at the end of October, although it may be more expensive.
